We had an amazing stay at Cae Pren!
Laura was really helpful in giving any information you needed and was available via text straight away. The lodge itself was lovely, really clean and had everything you could need. One slight note is that the fridge was quite small but this is understandable due to the size of the lodge. However, note for future travellers don’t bring lots of freezer items as the compartment is very small and there is no slot on the door for items like milk to stand up - not a criticism just an observation. It was amazing to have a dishwasher though, and there was all the kitchen equipment you could need. The hot tub was a perfect temperature and the views over the hills were amazing. We even got some sun on the last day to sit on the balcony. The location is great - we went on a few walks, beware of the hills though if you’re not very able! The small town close by has a spar, a Chinese takeaway and two pubs serving food. It’s also a short drive to Welshpool and Newtown which both have lots of shops. Overall, it was a fantastic stay so huge thank you to Laura and Dan.
Very comfortable cottage.
The standard of everything is excellent. We had excellent nights sleeps in super comfy beds. Will highly recommend to friends and hope to be back.
