Spotlessly clean, imacculate lodge equipped with everything you could need.

Views are spectacular. I am disabled and I had no difficulties,ask Claire the owner for the disabled seat for the shower.

Excellant accommodation, very clean, comfortable and the welcome pack a nice touch.

Preferable to have a car as you are high up in the park but the lovely views over the valley and sea more than make up for it. Site is also very clean. Lots to do in the area. Would definately stay here again when in the area.

Thank you Claire for the lovely welcome basket which made us feel at home straight away. The lodge was spotless and had been very lovingly furnished. It was so cosy and warm even on the first few days which were cold outside. The view is stunning and we were fortunate later in the holiday to be able to eat our evening meal outside enjoying the view over to the sea. The communication with the owner was excellent and we valued the message she sent in advance to let us know what was provided as it saved us taking lots of things we have had to take in other lodges. The lodge is at the top of the site so a steep hill if you want to walk down to the restaurant but we like to relax and self cater so not an issue. Being at the top means it is private and stunning views so the best location on the site as far as we were concerned. There is a huge Tesco in Aberystwyth or a decent Spa closer by. There is also a Nisa 2 minutes away but not sure how well stocked that is. We had an amazing week. The lodge was exactly as described and we would highly recommend.

The view from the lodge makes this accommodation really special.

It's very clean and cosy as well and is easily accessible by car with good parking outside - which is welcome as it would be a steep climb with all the cases otherwise! We used the lodge as a base for walking along the coastal path and exploring this beautiful area of mid Wales. There is a two hourly bus and train from Borth, the bus runs by the holiday park entrance and there is a large free car park more or less opposite the site entrance - so if you can't, or you don't fancy the walk up and down the hill from the lodge then this would be really handy. Aberwystwyth is the major draw close by, but I'd also recommend a trip to Machllyneth as well to see the old Welsh Parliament (closed Wednesdays) and the Owain Glyndor centre next door, which has a nice cafe - there is also a small modern art gallery based in an old restored chapel building.

Lovely views over the sea and estuary, and lots to do within a day's driving distance. Decent, safe, beach if you want that. Useful local facilities within walking distance, including convenience store, pub, restaurant and fish and chip shop. You'll need to bring your own Tassimo T Discs for the coffee maker.

Excellent lodge, amazing views.

Lodge is finished to a high standard and very well fitted out with everything a family would need. Spent a lot of time in the lodge mainly due to the weather being mixed but with location no real need to leave. All very sad to return home after 2 weeks but will be booking again very soon. Thank you!

Absolutely a stunning lodge with beautiful sea views and sunsets everything inside the lodge is beautiful out first thought on entering the lodge was wow best we have stayed in so far would recommend very highly .

This is a very attractive property in a superb position on the site.

It's at the top of a steep hill, but this means that it is secluded and quiet (nothing behind it but a bank with wild flowers, then trees, and the lodge in front is completely hidden by the slope) and the wide view over the sea, the estuary and Borth is quite special. The lodge is extremely well-appointed, furnished in a modern style, sparkling clean and very comfortable. My friend and I chose it partly because I'm disabled, we're both old and it had a ramp rather than steps, but be warned, it's a very long ramp and getting the luggage in was still hard work - not a problem for normally fit people, obviously. One tiny niggle, born out of the high quality of the appliances. Having less sophisticated ones at home, we were a bit bemused by the controls on the cooker/microwave and the dishwasher and there were no instructions; a little list of icons and their meanings would have been very useful! The friendly and concerned owner tried really hard to communicate with us before and during our stay. Unfortunately for both parties, it all landed in my Spam folder, so believe the Sykes site and take their advice to check your spam! Because we didn’t receive the instructions we'd been sent to guide us through the site, we asked for directions at Reception and were told, oh that's the best spot on the site. It was, and we recommend it thoroughly.

Wonderful views of the coast and the countryside. Great to have 2 bathrooms with having the family there. Extremely clean and well thought out for kitchen equip. Extremely comfortable and lovely place to stay.

The lodge was fantastic in every way.

Just one slight note to be made, relating to the wet/shower room. The water does not drain away from the toilet area, so feet are wet when you need to go. We will recommend this lodge to friends and family.

The furnishings & accommodation were excellent. Very spacious enough for 6 if needed, we only had 4 and it was perfect. All rooms very clean with lovely bedding & towels. View from balcony looking out over the sea & hills very relaxing. Lodge in a quiet area on site & private. Steep hills to the lodge but accessible by car with ample parking. Would definitely book again & highly recommend. Communication from owner if any issues.
