    “We have stayed in a few different caravans in this area and this one is definitely one of the best spots, especially with the wonderful view.”

    Unfortunately, it was spoiled by the fact that the bedding either had not been washed or had been left damp and it smelled very unpleasant. We were also informed, just before we left, that the check in time had changed so we couldn't get into the caravan until 4pm which more or less meant we had lost a day.

The property

Ystwyth 26 is a beautiful property found on the family-friendly Brynowen Holiday Park in West Wales, in easy reach of Borth seafront and the bustling town of Aberystwyth.

This ground floor home welcomes you up several steps onto a lovely veranda with seating, a peaceful spot to relax and spend a moment alone with your morning coffee.

Inside is a spacious open-plan living space, relax on the plush sofa, with room for all the family, switching on a classic film as the gas fire creates a cosy atmosphere on a cold winter's night.

Use the dining room space for both mealtimes and for those traditional competitive card games on a rainy day.

Use the kitchen to cook a delicious evening meal, fitted with all the amenities needed for your self-catered stay.

Take your pick between three modest bedrooms, a fabulous double or two twin rooms which can be made into king-size if needed.

Refresh yourself in the morning in the shower room, and if someone else is taking their time, there's even a handy cloakroom situated at the next door.

This property benefits from an amazing hidden spot, up some steep steps you'll find your very own private terraced garden section, boasting spectacular views of the far-reaching sea, here you can open up a bottle of wine and enjoy a romantic moment in this picturesque setting.

Throughout the months of March to October, the holiday park boasts exciting on-site facilities which you have full use of, take the kids for an afternoon swim at the indoor pool, try your luck at the arcade games, or discover the outdoor adventure playground and football pitch.

Borth town centre is a lovely location to stroll around and find local pubs, a selection of shops, and great restaurant options, the little ones will love being so close to Borth Wild Animal Kingdom, as well as enjoying watersports activities at Borth Beach, found on the stunning Ceredigion Heritage Coast overlooking Cardigan Bay.

Dyfi National Nature Reserve and Osprey Project, a nature conservation charity offering an amazing wildlife centre and walking trails among the reserve, alternatively take a stroll through the scenic Cambrian Mountains.

Spend a day exploring the vibrant town of Aberystwyth where you can visit a wide range of pubs, bars and restaurants, as well as a steam railway, the National Library of Wales, or the entertaining arts centre.

Borth is a village seaside resort set on a stretch of a spectacular coastal path, overlooking Cardigan Bay.
