Embden Pod at Banwy Glamping

It was so lovely here from start to finish and everything about it was absolutely amazing.

It was me and boyfriends first time glamping and it was stunning. The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind and all the facilities were so good! We went and explored the local area and Powys castle and it was so beautiful. Me and boyfriend will definitely be back in the future. Amazing all round!

We had such a wonderful stay with our dog.

The accommodation was amazing and very well equipped. The pod was so clean and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much!

This is a Hot tub, not a spa, you have to warm it up to use again next day by lighting a fire, this we didn't mind or know as we did expect something different, very isolated, very quiet, nice, when advertising a pet friendly break, didn't expect to pay on top for the dog ?

Or a booking fee. Should maybe say they are to be added as payment is made. This is aimed at the booking company, We enjoyed our couple of days here. Thank you.

We had a wonderful mini break.

Hosts were great and on hand if we needed them. The pod was super clean and had everything we needed for a short break. The milk, bubbly and tea and coffee upon arrival was a lovely touch and very welcomed. Surroundings were very peaceful and the guide book of things to do and local information was a great help. We had no issues with flys, but the host had supplied fly traps just incase. We had a super time and plan to return again. The only thing which we would of liked is a tiny sofa instead of the tub chairs or to lower the wooden base at the end of the bed so you can snuggle up to watch the tv when the weather is not at its best! But thats a small thing which we feel would improve the lodge, and it wouldnt stop us from returning. Great relaxing stay.

The only negative was the flies, the property owners have gone to great lengths to cover windows and doors with fly screens, however, by the time we had unpacked the car with the door open the pod was full of them.

There is a fly swatter in the cupboard but we didn’t find it until the second day! That said when you stay in a pod in the middle of nowhere on farmland flies are to be expected so not an issue just something to note. The facilities were excellent, communication from the owners was fantastic and the site is gorgeous. We will definitely stay again. Thank you

Such a nice place.

Beautiful views, relaxing hot tub and good facilities. Will definitely be back

We had a very relaxing short stay in an excellent pod, in very pretty surroundings, with the added bonus of a hot tub.

The owners were in touch and readily available if we needed any help, which wasn't needed during the stay. Great for recharging the batteries.

Great location for a lovely short getaway, quiet and peaceful, pod was comfy and clean along with the hot tub which was a must have!

Highly recomnended.

We absolutely loved our stay.

It was all and more then we expected. Sarah was very helpful and kind enough to get the hot tub going for us, so it was ready for when we arrived. The area is just beautiful with sheep grazing on the field. Exactly what you need to escape the noise of todays world. Would highly recommend.

Our stay within the Embden pod was just perfect!

Such a peaceful and tranquil place to stay. The pod its self was beautiful and like home from home with all the fixtures and fittings. The bed was so comfortable. There isn't anything they haven't thought of supplying down to gowns and barbecue equipment. The hot tub was a dream and we couldn't believe how well it holds its heat after the fire went out. We took a walk to the river which was so idyllic and peaceful. Sarah was very helpful with the messages she sent prior to our trip with all the instructions we needed. All in all we had an amazing weekend and would definitely like to return some time soon.

Amazing stay!

Romantic getaway

Great place, great hosts.

Definitely come back.

Lovely pod & hot tub, very cosy and perfect for a romantic get away!

! We would definitely book to stay again in the future

Perfect breakaway and made very welcome for the stay.

Hot tub looking at the starry nights was one to remember.

Amazing pod, can't fault it in anyway.

Was brilliant for getting a weekend away with my partner. Would definitely book again!

Such a lovely place in such a lovely area.

The bottle of prosecco was a great touch and of course the hot tub stole the show all weekend. Would most definitely stay again!

This place is fabulous and this was our second stay, we’ll definitely be back for a third.

Couldn’t have been happier,Sarah was as ever welcoming and helpful. Clean, blissfully quiet and a lovely stay

Lovely place, idyllic and very homely and clean

Lovely place , would recommend this xx

Such a lovely little pod.

Clean, tidy and had everything we needed. The little touches like milk and Prosecco in the fridge and charcoal for the outside fire pit were lovely. Had a problem getting the wood fired hot tub to light but Sarah was straight down to help us and got it going. We had 3 wonderful days in that hot tub staring at the countryside and listening to the sheep. Would definitely go back.

This pod is absolutely amazing and would recommend it to everyone.

We booked as a birthday treat for the two of us and both had the most amazing time. There was a bottle of prosecco and milk in the fridge as we arrived (such a nice touch). Alan and Sarah could not have been more helpful and informative, leaving a book with things to do, places to go, restaurants and takeaways to eat from, you name it the book had it. They have literally thought of everything and I am so glad we found this pod. We will definitely be returning :)

Definitely will come back, lovely view and wonderful owners.

Loved the pod loved the location Really did seem like an isolated escape and that's exactly what we were looking for.

Bed was ridiculously comfortable and the nearby towns had everything you could need and more, would stay again without a doubt.

Lovely little cabin, very clean and spacious.

The nearest shops are a drive away so I’d recommend bringing food and drink. Lots of lovely touches like the Prosecco and dog treats! Owners are also very generous with wood / coal for the hot tub and fire pit. Highly recommend for couples coming from the city.

Lovely lodge, great little place to chill out, dog loved it as much as us

Great place to enjoy your holiday.

Very clean and comfortable. The hot tub is brilliant. Thank you. Iulian

Absolutely beautiful place!

So peaceful and perfect for a break away from the fast pace of life. Our dog was welcomed just as much as we were. We will definitely be returning.

Amazing property and perfect inside and out.

Sarah was amazing. The great British weather didn’t stop us! Can’t wait to return!

Had a great 2 nights stay in this lovely pod with my partner and our dog, we had a great stay here and would highly recommend this to anyone.

Piece and quiet and so chilled here especially when we got in the hot tub at night which was great. If you need that break after a busy work life then this is for you! Thank you Andy and Sarah lovely place

Absolutely brilliant, just what we needed, very clean and tidy, hot tub is great, peaceful and cozy, couldn't of asked for more and thank you for the tea, coffee, sugar, milk and chilled bottle of prosecco.

Will definitely recommend this place and hopefully return in the future. Thanks again John & Helen

We had a lovely stay at the embden pod at Banwy Glamping Pods.

We spent two nights in the peaceful countryside to celebrate a 30th birthday with our dog. The pods had everything that you would require during your stay. The owners had gone all out with the detail from Prosecco on arrival, biscuits for the dog and fresh milk in the fridge for coffee, tea also all provided. We really enjoyed our stay at the pods and would highly recommend them to our friends and family. We had the beat stay and was welcomed by the owners on arrival. Really relaxing getaway with all the luxury's. We would 100% return.

We absolutely adored the scenery and comfort of the Embden Pod and will definitely be returning.

Great work, effort and time has been put in to ensure guests have a brilliant time here, so worth every penny.

Wow just what we needed amazing little hidaway .

. the pod is cosy with everything you need the veiws are amazing. Sarah and Andy have covered everything and are on hand if you need anything. The hot tub is the icing on the cake and we will 100% returning regards heather Darren

The most beautiful stay and wonderful owners who were very welcoming, will definitely be back again highly recommend if your looking for a relaxing break me and my partner also took our dog who was a massive fan of the big field too.

Such a beautiful place can’t wait to go back.

Sarah & Andy were great hosts!

The pod was lovely and cosy. The weather wasn't the best (Wales in February), so didn't use the firepit or dine alfresco but did manage a few nights in the hot tub. We took our telescope too and managed a night star gazing. The location is very secluded so perfect for getting away from it all!

Booked this for my other half's 30th, being busy parents this was the perfect retreat.

The pod has everything you need and the owner Sarah was really helpful and on hand if we needed anything. The woodfired tub was perfect for these cold winter evenings, it was peaceful, secluded and certainly helped us escape from our busy lifestyle and relax. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Had such a brilliant stay, the views are great, the pod is very comfortable and very relaxing.

Will definitely be going back!

Really loved our three nights in the pod.

Great isolated spot. Hot tub was ready on arrival. Pod was clean and warm. Prosecco in the fridge and treat for the dog was a lovely touch. Host was very helpful and informative. Plenty of wood for the hot tub and charcoal for the fire pit. Very impressed , would highly recommend.

Great little place in the middle of nowhere.

A great place to recharge. Hot tub is a great after a long walk.

I'm a busy person usually, as is my husband but it was his 40th and our wedding anniversary this particular weekend, so I booked this getaway as a surprise for him.

We agreed early on I wouldnt takr the work laptop and him gis work phone so the we could just ... be. It was perfction, I haven't known peace like that in many years, it was the most beautiful thing to just be. And not worry about work, school, nursery, cleaning and any other needy thigs life has to throw. I had mever been in a Hottub before, it was lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed. We didnt do much walking as I have MS but the views are breathtaking but it was so nice to just. Do. Nothing. I will 100% be back, because I just need more time to do nothing. Its soo peaceful, the teabags were even beautiful!! The dog also loved it, there is absolutely nothing about this little getaway I could possibly criticise. Thank you so much

Amazing place.

Very well presented. Information of plenty of places to go and things to do. Lovely and peaceful. Hot tub was the icing on the cake.

Had the most amazing time staying at the Pod.

It was so cozy and Comfy for our weeks stay and the hot tub was so lovely! Managed to see a few shooting stats while sat outside in the dark whilst stargazing. Was the perfect end to the holiday.

We had a fantastic time at Embden Pod.

The pod is equipped with everything you need and the hot tub was perfect in the evening. Located in a lovely secluded spot in the welsh countryside. We will certainly be back soon.

Perfectly peaceful and tranquil.

Exactly what we needed

Such an amazing few days in the pod!

It’s got everything you need and we were suprised how secluded it was, the views around are brilliant and it’s just an amazing little getaway.

Absolutely amazing place to stay.

Perfect for romantic getaway. Pod was great, everything you need. Lovely hosts. Well surprise with bottle of Prosecco left for us on arrival.

A Brill stay during a wet week in May!

Andy and Sarah were available if we needed them. The pod is superb, clean and homely. Great to be on our own for a week, very peaceful and the pod is on its own in a field close to the river.

Lovely little break away.

The pod surprisingly spacious and really comfortable. It's in a great location, really private. The hot tub, fire pit and decking area are great. Only thing I would say it could benefit from would be a microwave but other than that it was perfect! Would definitely stay again.

Brilliant pod for a weekend away.

Kitchen got everything you need plus you can cook on the pit. Bed was super comfy and everything was really clean. We were really surprise to find a blanket, a bed and a couple of bowls for our lovely dog. They did even leave a biscuits for her. Sarah and Andy were very welcomimg and nice. They provided us with fresh eggs and their own bacon ( totally worth to buy some from them) which we end up taking extra home. We will definetly come back!!

Just got back from a lovely weekend in the Embden Pod, the pod had all the facilities you would need for a self catering trip and was spotlessly clean.

It felt spacious and was laid out well so you didn’t feel on top of each other whilst there. The hosts were very kind and helpful and were on hand if we needed anything. The wood burning hot tub and outdoor sitting area was lovely and perfect for a relaxing get away. The location was good with plenty of walks and activities near by. Would definitely recommend.

When we first turned up we realised that there was only the one pod, which surprised us.

Having said that we really enjoyed having no one else around. The hot tub could do with a gazebo as we did go in December and it was raining, however we would not let that stop us going in. Overall this was a great little escape, really quiet and exactly what we needed.

Fantastic stay!

It’s the perfect retreat to get away from reality for a few days. The pod is lovely and has everything you need; you can easily spend all weekend in there if you wish. Good local pubs and plenty to do in the area. Andy and Sarah are great hosts and were always on hand if we needed anything! Would definitely recommend and hope to be back at some point in the future.

We just stayed at Emden Pod this weekend and had the most amazing stay.

Everything was there including utensils, fridge, cooker and the place was completely kitted out for our stay. It was absolutely immaculate and exceeded expectations in every way. The hot tub was great and the cabin was cosy and romantic. The location was beautiful and even if you have a rainy weekend, the pod has everything you need including a tv. We would definitely recommend to friends looking for a getaway.

Great place, Lovely land with river at the bottom Perfect couples with the dog get away.

Owners really nice would go above and behond to help. Will definitely be going back.

Great Place to get away from it all, surrounded by fields and fresh air.

Hosts were on hand if we needed anything. Pod had all that we needed, and hot tub perfect place to while away the night, and watch the stars in the clear sky.
