Beautiful setting, excellent accommodation.
As soon as we arrived, we couldn't stop admiring the amazing views of hills, the ships, cows and birds.
Dave welcomed us with bottle prosseco and showed us around the lodge, including the hot tu and how to use the open fire. He was so friendly and welcoming. The lodge was spotlessly clean, warm and cosy, with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. We highly recommend Meadow view to anyone planning to visit the beautiful Welsh countryside. It's lovely place to relax, unwind and enjoy the stunning surroundings. Thank you, Dave and Sonia, for making our stay so special. ❤️
An absolutely perfect stay at Meadow View!
Meadow View is an absolute gem! We had the most incredible stay at this stunning cabin in Meifod, Wales, and honestly, it was one of those places you’re genuinely sad to leave. First of all, the owners are possibly the sweetest people we’ve ever met. So welcoming, friendly and informative, and nothing was ever too much trouble. You can tell how much pride they take in their property, and it really shows in every little detail. The cabin itself is an interior designer’s dream. Beautifully decorated, modern, spotlessly clean (and I mean spotlessly clean!) and so thoughtfully equipped. There’s a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, every kitchen utensil you could possibly need, and lovely little touches throughout, including board games to enjoy during your stay. Everything has been thought of. The location is just as special. You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by countryside, with uninterrupted views across the fields, yet you’re still within easy reach of some fantastic local pubs. Watching the little calves in the fields and the ducks in the pond each morning was such a lovely way to start the day. And the hot tub? Absolutely wonderful. When the listing promises uninterrupted views, they really mean it! There’s complete privacy, making it the perfect place to unwind with a glass of Prosecco in the evening or a cup of tea in the morning while taking in those beautiful surroundings. Meadow View has that rare combination of a gorgeous property, a peaceful location and genuinely lovely owners who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would return in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for a beautiful, peaceful countryside escape in Wales, I honestly couldn’t recommend Meadow View enough
