A wonderful, peaceful location, just what we needed.

The views are stunning! The pod had everything we needed, it was super clean and everything was of high quality. We didn't want to leave, wished we had booked a longer stay! Would definitely visit again.

Ogródek jest bezpiecznie odgrodzony jeśli jedziesz z pieskiem. W domku czysto i schludnie. Jedyny minus to były garnki, niestety były już mocno zużyte i jedziecie przywierało do powierzchni ale to tak na prawdę niewielkim kosztem można zmienić. Poza tym domek bardzo dobrze zagospodarowany wewnątrz i zewnątrz. Komunikacja z właścicielami też dużym plusem. Byliśmy bardzo zodowoleni ze spędzonego tam czasu i szczerze polecamy Napisz po angielsku

Very nice and picefull place to stay the pod was amazing and the views are also good right around you .

Plus it was lambing season so there are lots of sheep and there baby's around you . Your just 10 mins away from Barmouth beach front so there's lots to do and see very happy with our stay.

It was amazing in Eirlys guest house!

We really enjoyed our time there. I would recommend to everyone to go there and have opportunity to feel beauty of Wales.

I loved this place, it feels so private and secluded as it sits at the bottom of a hill and its a stunning little hut, the hot tub is a massive bonus however it takes ages to heat up so id recommend sticking in an electric tub for those of us who come in the winter.

We didn't know how to use the microwave oven but other than that we loved our stay. I also really like the integrated Bluetooth speakers

Trouble free, lovely and clean. Literally the only issue I could find is that the sofa was uncomfortable but I’m probably just being picky. Nice pod out in the sticks. Nice to get away from the hustle and bustle for our wedding anniversary. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful break in nature. Barmouth 15 mins drive away which was good.

We loved our stay at this shepherds hut, it was beautiful, further away from the property so you feel like you have your own slice of it.

Backs onto the river which has a gate you can enter also. Rufus loved running about over the verge and around the grass. The hut itself was perfect, so so clean!! The layout worked perfectly with just enough room to fit Rufus' bed in too. The woodfired hut tub was lovely, and they were super helpful with providing more wood when we needed it. Position was not too far from anything but feels like you're in the middle of nowhere!! We will definitely be coming again and recommending. Thanks for a fab holiday.

Excellent weekend and area was fantastic.

Eirlys was just what we expected a beautiful pod in a beautiful setting.

It was just a shame storm Amy decided to join us for the weekend. It didn't dampen our spirits though and the accommodation more than stood up to the best the storm threw at us mostly down to it's location nestled in a lovely secluded position protected from most of the elements. It was well equipped and comfortable we could only wonder how idyllic it would be to have breakfast outside on the garden furniture listening to the nearby stream babbling by and nothing else. It was our first stay at Eirlys but won't be out last.

Loved our accommodation, and the scenery around the accommodation was beautiful.

Unfortunately our stay was cut short because we were involved in a RTA. But aside from that I would definitely recommend staying at this location and property, and Sykes are a great company, would definitely recommend.

The property is dog friendly with a large secure garden with stunning views. Situated in a good location for days out to Snowdon and Barmouth. Highly recommend

Really lovely stay, such a beautiful area and so private with big enclosed space.

However, there were no firefighters (box empty) for lighting the hot tub on first night (bought some the next day) and the bed is really not comfy- can feel all the springs in the mattress so that was a real shame as otherwise perfect for what we were after

Amazing place and a lovely stay, my dog even made it like home standing at the gate waiting to be let back inside and even made friends with mrs.

Me and my partner enjoyed our stay.

The location was bliss and tranquil. We enjoyed the relaxing in the hot tub. Listening to the stream flowing absolute paradise. The pod was clean and tidy comfy mattress. We will be definitely be booking again.

Hi, our vacation was very satisfactory.

We stayed for a week as 2 adults and a dog, and all had the best time - we had to wrestle the dog into the car on the last day as he was very insistent on staying!

The cabin is lovely, well laid out with good storage under the bed, the hot tub seems a bit daunting at first but only took an hour from cold to perfect temp, and it’s so private and peaceful but only 15 minutes from Barmouth and Dolgellau, and just ten minutes to the George III for great pub dinners overlooking the Mawddach estuary. Lots of scenic walks from the end of the lane too. Spent a good portion of our last night looking at Eirlys availability and our work schedules to figure out when we can go back - hopefully it won’t be too long!

We had a problem on arrival with no internet this affected tv phone signal .

However I contacted the owner and when we returned to the property it was up and working . We booked the property because the photos showed sun loungers in the garden there were none! It doesn’t detract from our experience BUT we were disappointed

The owners are very friendly and helpful, as we were staying for a week we needed some more logs for the hot tub we rang Claire and purchased 3 bags and she even brought them to the pod for us. This pod with the hot tub is so relaxing and peaceful, it has everything you need for a very enjoyable stay. There is also some lovely walks straight from the pod. We will definitely be returning again. Thank you

A beautiful self contained pod in a gorgeous rural location.

We had a lovely tranquil stay, much needed from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. The property is dog friendly with a large secure garden with stunning views. Situated in a good location for days out to Snowdon and Barmouth.

The location was fantastic.

The accommodation was lovely. Waking up to the sound of sheep, cows and pony’s was great. The owners were brilliant. The whole week was perfect, just what we needed to take a break from our busy lives.

The pod was lovely, cosy and in a perfect location. The hot tub was amazing, however, keep an eye on the temperature as one night it was too hot to get in. We enjoyed our daily visits from the farm cat, Mrs Lloyd, who was so affectionate. Waking up to the horses and sheep was also lovely. I agree with other reviews, a small curtain above the bed would be beneficial as I was often woke up early from the sun. No complaints with this though. Thank you for our welcome gifts and a lovely stay. It was such a shame we had to cut our trip short and leave 2 days early. Will definitely be back in the future :)

Beautiful little place in a stunning location

I had a wonderful stay at Eirlys, the cabin was clean and cosy, lovely and comfortable for me and my little cavapoo!

The wood fire hot tub was a lovely treat at the end of our long days of exploring and the views were just absolutely beautiful, we wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future!

Lovely pod with everything you need Lovely quite tranquil area would like to mention that the decking would be safer at one level rather than split i tripped over on it a couple of times also the road up to it is long and steep you need a 4x4

We had a fantastic stay!

The cabin was neat and clean and provided us with everything and more than what we needed. It was so lovely to be able to bring our little dog along and having the space around the cabin enclosed meant our little dog could safely be off lead on this area. The hot tub was wonderful and so was the fire we could make each evening. We will recommend this place 100% and will book again! The surroundings is beautiful and so relaxing to be next to a stream.

The pod was very compact, very clean and well maintained.

The owner had provided extras such as tea , coffee washing up cloth, sponge and tea towels. The plates and crockery were all new and clean. A really nice bathroom and shower with plenty of towels. Outside there was everything needed to light the firepit and hot tub. Altogether a delightful stay in a beautiful location. I would highly recommend.

Lovely cabin in a beautiful setting with lovely local walks in countryside but also close to Barmouth’s sandy beaches.

The perfect little getaway.

The pod was lovely and clean, it had everything in it we could’ve needed. It was a good size for the two of us and our dog. Beautiful walks all around us, shops and a great beach just a short drive away. The hot tub was lovely, we used it every night and loved the fact it was so quiet that all you could hear was the stream next to the pod. Would love to visit again, we’ve come away so relaxed. Thank you!

overall I feel this was an amazing retreat to relax and take the dog for plenty of walks being fenced off in your own section not having to worry about our little fur baby.

having the river at the bottom through another gate was also a surprise and delight. owners were so friendly and helpful. the only feedback I could give really would maybe to have a little curtain on window behind the bed.

Lovely pod, nice and clean.

Didn’t use the hot tub because of the weather, we stayed when we had the storm. The only feedback is it was very dark from the gate to the pod itself as could have some lighting coming down the path. We will come again

This place is unbelievable and so private.

If you have a dog they have so much space to play outside and our retriever loved jumping into the stream looking for sticks. It’s all fenced off perfectly so they can’t run off and you can relax. The pod is very well kept and makes for a cosy stay. The owners are truly on hand for anything you need. The hot tub is lush once hot but it takes a lot of effort to heat. We had to put logs in every 5/10 mins and relight many times. We made the effort thought and used it the first two days. The last night we didn’t get in due to trying for 2 hours and finding the water still only just warming (it was very cold outside so maybe why) All in all will definitely look to return in the summer, we had a great weekend here

The lodge is private and cosy with more than enough amenities. The hot tub was amazing too - even on a winter night it is delightful! Already excited to stay again.

Absolutely amazing break.

It was so clean inside and such a nice location. Have recommended to lots of friends already! Also Mrs Lloyd was a lovely visitor and we popped out to get her some treats.

The pod was lovely, it was so peaceful (I didn’t want to leave).

Absolutely stunning place very relaxing ,quiet and stunning scenery and a perfect secluded setting Not a criticism but maybe a little note about the hot tub starting procedure and possibly contact the customer before hand to see wether they would like it starting before they get there as it does take a while to heat but then it's so easy to keep it hot But a fantastic stay all in all and will definitely be back keep up the good work

What can I say ?

We had a glorious stay at Eirlys. Lovely log cabin, fully equipped, very comfortable bed, great shower, smart TV and a huge fenced garden to allow the dog to roam about in without fear of them getting out. Fire pit was awesome. Didn't venture into the wood fired hot tub on a chilly October night but it looked amazing. The sound of the stream was very therapeutic. The weather was beautiful too, only raining overnight and on our drive home. The rest of the time it was warm and sunny. Result !! The directions to the pod were excellent as were the instructions for the key collection. There's a little info folder next to the welcome gifts (thank you) with all the essential information. We made use of both the TV and the bluetooth speakers ! The 10am check out was a bit of a struggle especially with breakfast, washing up, packing, cleaning, filling bin bags & a thorough poo patrol check (the dogs, not ours :-) ) in the garden area but we made it..just ! An 11am check out would have been easier. We found an awesome pub a couple of miles away called George III with epic views, an outdoor terrace, dog friendly and delicious food. Check it out if you come to stay here. Would highly recommend staying here (they have 2 as far as I could see) if you want a lovely few days away in the National Park. Awesome. Would definitely come back and once I'd posted my pics on Instagram, several of my friends were asking for the website links so they could book. Fabulous.

This was our second visit & will not be our last.

Seriously… it’s everything we could want for a short, comfortable & private break. The cabin is well equipped and perfect for a couple & their Doggy. A Hot tub, fire pit/ barbecue, and secure grounds. The hosts Clare & Gethin make sure you have all you could require, even acknowledging our special moments. If you want to escape & have a break away from working life then this is the place to come to.
