Description

Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant 2.8 miles.

Mynydd Y Glyn Lodge is a stunning, two-bedroom holiday retreat resting on the outskirts of Llanfyllin, near Llanrhaeadr-Ym-Mochnant, in Powys.

Boasting off-road parking for up to six cars, an enclosed decking enjoying picturesque views of distant mountaintops, and a superb collection of vibrant, contemporary interiors, this wonderful abode welcomes a family or group of four for a relaxing, fuss-free countryside escape in the heart of North Wales.

Park up outside Mynydd Y Glyn Lodge, your brilliant new home-from-home, taking a moment to pause and breathe in your tranquil new rural surroundings.

Make your way onto the outdoor decking, where you will find seating to enjoy your morning cups of coffee whilst the presence of your very own private, wood-fired hot tub only serves to add further indulgence to your fabulous getaway.

Inside, discover an array of tastefully-appointed living spaces, starting with a boot room that contains a washer/dryer to keep your laundry fresh throughout your stay.

Continue into the open-plan living area, where you can get to work preparing delicious meals in the fully-equipped kitchen whilst you chat with loved ones who are sat at the breakfast bar, savour dinners around the dining table over a glass of your favourite tipple, before eventually kicking back to unwind on the plush velvet corner sofa in the sitting space, where a wall-mounted Smart TV and a sleek, electric fireplace heighten the already exquisite living quarter.

When sleep calls, refresh with a rejuvenating shower before you finally settle down for a well-earned rest in either a decadent super-king (zip/link) or a king-size bedroom, the latter of which is accompanied by its very own en-suite shower room.

When you're ready, set out to explore what's on offer in your local area.

A brief car trip will take you into nearby Llanrhaeadr-Ym-Mochnant, a quaint village where you can stock up on essentials at the SPAR before tucking into a pub lunch at The Hand Inn or some cake and coffee at Gegin Fach cafe.

Continue your day out by heading for the breathtaking natural site of Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall, stopping by to gaze at the rushing waters before you venture south to the outstanding RSPB Llyn Vyrnwy.

Your stay in the region would be incomplete without exploring the wonders of the Eryri National Park, with the Bala Lake Railway, Harlech Castle, Dolbadarn Castle, and Rhaeadr Y Graig Lwyd just a few of the iconic landmarks and attractions waiting to be visited.

Enjoy the ultimate getaway in North Wales by booking Mynydd Y Glyn Lodge.

Had a week at the lodge having been for a long weekend previously.

Spotlessly clean, superbly finished and well equipped. Tranquil location, just some sheep for neighbours. Fully secure garden for the dog, hot tub is fantastic. Lake Vyrnwy is a short drive away with some great walks, and the walk up to the viewpoint behind the lodge provides some stunning views. Lovely owners are nearby for any problems or questions but they don't intrude.

We have had a wonderful week at Mynydd y Glyn, it is in the most beautiful setting with amazing views.

The fully enclosed garden is perfect for dogs and the sheep in the surrounding fields are good entertainment! The lodge was perfectly clean and very comfortable. A great place to relax and switch off.
