What guests are saying
Lovely location , peaceful , all facilities adequate.
The photos do not do the chalet justice as they now have new items of furniture i.e table and chairs.
A lovely location, close to beaches, steam trains, lakes, mountains and the Mach loop.
The site itself is quiet and clean, with lovely views. The chalet has what we needed and was clean. The main improvement we would recommend is the the seating, which could be more comfortable or spacious. The WiFi is variable but there is a decent mobile signal in the area and the TV has freesat. Excellent value.
Generally, in my opinion, it's a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
We spent a week in a chalet with 2 adults, a child, and a dog. Most days, we went hiking, so we returned in the evening. We are tall, so our bed wasn't very comfortable, but our son didn't complain. The bathroom is old-fashioned and has very basic facilities. A flush toilet is quite annoying; sometimes you have to press it three times to flush properly. You might see some insects around, but don't be surprised if the holiday park is situated in a forest. Every day at 6am, you can hear some birds singing, which is an amazing sound!
