Very thoughtful reception gifts from the friendly hosts and a beautiful, tranquil setting.

Very relaxing to sit out under the gazebo to eat breakfast and take in the view. Wonderfully clear skies at night and within good distance from various outdoor activities (we recommend Bethenia Adventure at Lake Vyrnwy for boating/canoeing/paddle boarding etc., and the walk to Rodney’s Pillar for the amazing view).

We had a lovely peaceful holiday.

Great location. The property was very nice and as described. Beds were very comfortable and the welcome pack was a great touch. The laminate floor in the main living area shifted in places to cause gaps but could be pushed back into place. Could benefit from a batten behind the kitchen cupboards to hold the floor in place as coul be an issue for people with mobility issues. An information sheet on where to leave recycling, food waste and key on leaving would have been helpful as the owners were away on holiday.. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and stay here again if in the area.

Excellent cottage but the big bonus if you have an electric car, the owner also has an electric car and allows you to use his wallbox charger at cost price of power used.

I find the owners helpful and gave us advice on walking in the area. Local pub ( well two villages away,) serves first class food at very reasonable prices. Also some very friendly chickens!
