Beautiful accommodation hoping to be back again soon.

Didn’t need to speak to the owners as everything was in working order and we had no problems but they were lovely enough and provided lots little things to done. The baby lambs in field were a big bonus

We had an amazing stay at Bwncath Lodge this week, lodge is absolutely stunning!

Loved all the decor and quirky accessories. Super comfy beds and nice fresh bedding We were so lucky to have beautiful weather so took advantage of the BBQ and hot tub, the outside space is huge, plenty of room to relax. We spent a lot of time watching the wildlife, the lambs and goats kept us entertained, they were so cute! There is a dog exercise area which was a bonus as although we did go on plenty of walks it was ideal in the morning and late at night. Good selection of games which we played on the evenings. Location is great, nice pubs nearby and a cafe which we walked to for brunch along the canal and also popped into Welshpool one afternoon which is 15 mins by car Electric car charging on site Owners are really lovely and welcoming If you’re looking for a totally chilled time this is your place! We can’t wait to return soon ❤️

Lovely hosts, very high standards throughout, we thought it was our best staycation so far with stunning views and we have already booked our return!

Wow just wow , we returned this year to try this lodge after staying in one of the others last year and yet again it did not disappoint, everything we needed , stunning in every way , owners friendly and helpful, yet again allowing my daughter access to see the horses , something about this place is so magical and makes you not want to leave.

This has to be the nicest lodge I have ever stayed in.

It is an absolutely stunning property with fabulous hot tub and beautiful views. The lodge was spotlessly clean, comfortable and dog friendly too. It had everything we needed for a lovely weekend away with family.

Very clean and well equipped. Would happily have stayed forever as so relaxing. There may be a need for more fans during really hot weather but everything really was perfect. Would definitely return and have already recommended to others. X

Amazing property well looked after

Just got back from having an amazing weekend here with my partner and 2 children the place is unreal and we will definitely be back for a longer stay

I don't even know where to start, we had the best 3 days away in Welshpool.

The lodge is amazing, beautiful views, beautiful decor inside and out .Everything you needed was there for you . Owners were so lovely, you can tell how much love has been put into the lodges. Hot tub was amazing and well maintained. 30 mins away from property we visited a place where we did quad biking but there were loads of other activities to do aswell as a family . Definitely worth a visit we loved it. Local supermarket 10-15 mins away . Honestly we cannot wait to go back next year again. I have recommended it to all my family and friends.

Absolutely stunning!

The accommodation was perfect. Lovely high end finish throughout. Every little detail was thoroughly thought out. Lots of space both inside and on the balcony. But the view... The photos don't do it justice. Absolutely breathtaking! We sat on the balcony everyday soaking up the sun and watching the sheep. They were so entertaining! Perfect location for a relaxing, peaceful trip. Would be stunning in winter too. The hosts were super friendly and attentive. Cant recommend highly enough. 5*****

Excellent accommodation.

Well thought out design. Very spacious. Everything you needed was there. Views were good and a display by the red kites every day was amazing. Swooping down while sat in the hot tub! Enjoyed every minute

We stayed at Bwncath from 2-5 May and WOW what an amazing property.

Set high on a hill so the views are stunning especially from the veranda with the seating and lovely hot tub. The property itself is outstanding - imaginatively designed using rustic materials in a luxurious manner, with quality soft furnishing and everything you could ever need with regards to kitchen equipment, board games, BBQ, washing machine and tumble dryer, hairdryer (in entrance cupboard) iron and ironing board and hoover. I brought cleaning items but these were already supplied which was a lovely surprise. The owners built and furnished the property, and the two others on site, and all their hard work and attention to detail shines through to make this property a warm (it has underfloor heating), inviting, luxurious and very interesting place to stay. The owners checked that we had everything we needed and were so welcoming and lovely to talk to to hear how they built the property which was only opened eight months ago. Our dog loved it too! We had Sunday lunch at The Nags Head just a short drive away which was excellent but you need to book well in advance to get a table! Also do try the Greenhouse at Kings Nurseries which offer amazing breakfasts and lunches. I have already recommended this property to friends and family along with the other 2 four bedroomed lodges and the one bedroom, and will definitely return. We really did not want to leave! So if you are looking for an imaginative and quirky home from home, amazing luxurious bathrooms, comfortable beds and seating areas, wonderful sheep, lambs and goats to watch, immaculately clean and with the most outstanding Welsh views then look no further as Bwncath is the one for you. A 5* stay and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The best holiday home we’ve ever stayed at.

Our 2nd time we have visited this property and was just as good as the 1st time, the little touches the lodge has to offer due to it being a family run business is second to none.

We have visited lots of different lodges all over the UK and can definitely say this is easily our favourite, love the fact it feels so rural but also lots to do and see using the lodge as a base. Played Welshpool Golf Course to which was only 8 miles away and if you play golf then this is a must - spectacular views and a lovely course for a reasonable price. Will definatley be booking to go back again soon

Wow!

Bwncath is a little slice of heaven. The views were absolutely breathtaking! The most calming and relaxing holiday and the lodge was just perfect. Every detail has been carefully thought about by the owners and the quality and cleanliness was a 10/10. The owners even came up with a baby lamb and chicks for us to hold which absolutely made my family’s holiday that more special. These people love and care so much for their lodges and land and that really shone through for us. I have told so many people about Bwncath because it really is a special little place which I can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for an unforgettable holiday which I will remember forever. The views are to die for, hot tub, dog friendly, clean, top quality bedding and furniture, the most friendly hosts what more could you want. We arrived and were instantly blown away by both the lodge and the view.

The pictures on the listing really don’t do the view justice - it’s a little piece of Welsh heaven! The lodge is the nicest we’ve stayed in and the attention to detail is incredible. Beautifully dressed throughout, spotlessly clean, thoughtful provision of kitchen items, comfortable bedrooms, lovely bath and shower rooms. The outdoor area is equally great, the provision of an outdoor shower, non slip decking, well maintained and clean hot tub, comfortable furniture - and the decking automatically lighting up at dusk was a lovely touch. The owners are a super family. So friendly and ready to help if you need anything. It was so nice to see three generations working together and obviously so happy. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back again.

Lovely place to stay for a relaxing long weekend away from a usually very busy lifestyle.

Gorgeous views, very spacious, perfectly decorated for its surroundings. Owners were lovely and greeted us on arrival and were very friendly, as were the lambs that we woke up to jumping and playing in the field. The hot tub was the cherry on top! All in all, a 10/10 that I'd definitely recommend, and return to again some day.

Absolutely loved this place, what a find.

If you want a lovely place to relax and enjoy the lovely Welsh Countryside whilst spoiling yourself in this beautiful Lodge, then this is the place to stay. The owners popped by whilst we were there and brought us a bottle of fizz to enjoy and celebrate NYE. Lovely touch. Would 100% recommend this place, and are now looking to book again sometime during the year.

We had a beautiful stay here between Christmas and New Year and wow what a find.

When entering the open plan room it took our breath away. The photos don’t do it justice. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas as well, which we loved. Bedrooms all spacious and the kids loved having their own bathroom. Hot tub was fantastic and well maintained. The views are stunning. Overall Bwncath exceeded all our expectations and we hope to come back. Thank you to the lovely family who run these lodges.

What a place to stay!

It certainly has the “wow” factor. The view from the balcony was breathtaking and the property was fitted out to the highest quality. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. There were a couple of things we found we were short of and they sorted it out straight away. We will certainly be coming back here again. Thank you!

Clean, tidy and spacious, fantastic views and perfect for relaxing in the hot tub.

Quirky touches in the lodge making it unique yet practical. Only suggestion would be maybe a small local produce welcome pack.

This property was absolutely fantastic!

! The rooms are spacious and welcoming!! The heated floors were amazing in the mornings!! And the view!!! And the hot tub!!! And the wildlife!!! Absolutely wonderful! To provide improvement opportunities, as we were arriving from the U.S., shampoo, conditioner and body wash was expected and would have been a wonderful addition, or at least to know that it was not provided so we could have planned ahead. (it's normally provided on the States). Additionally, a can/tin opener could be added to the kitchen amenities. I also had technical difficulties sending messages in your app. I consistently received error messages. Just want you to be aware. :) As our daughter lives in Wales, we will be visiting your lodge again and again! Thank you!

Absolutely amazing lodge, very high spec set in a stunning location and amazing owners

I booked Bwncath as a special memorable week, away from the chaos of life, before both children fly the nest with Uni snd travelling …and what a magical, memorable week we had.

The wow factor walking in the place took everyone back… a comfortable, stylish, functional place to comfortably house 6 people. The style and vibe of the place really suited our older kids and Ella (black lab). The delightful owners checked in on us and ensured our hot tub was ok which it was. We WILL be back… we visited surrounding areas and castles… played cards on the terrace sipping bubbles - PERFECT. Booking, paying and preparing us pre arrival was so efficient and easy. We’re even thinking of a larger family event in the future taking both villas

WOW what a place, absolutely stunning, and full of quirky features, we loved this magical place to relax and unwind in the countryside with our family.

This lodge is genuinely amazing.

My family and my dog had the best few days here. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning !! The lodge has been finished to a very high standard. Couldn’t have asked for more
