    “What a wonderful place to stay, peaceful, quiet, and everything you could need.”

    It was brilliant to be able to let our little dog off the lead, and know she would be able to stay pretty close. She accidentally discovered she could swim! She was so excited, and loving the freedom, that she ran straight into the pond! The blankets and toys were a great touch too, as were the covers for the furniture. They were put on straight away, as ours is used to jumping up with us, as she's a nervous rescue. We'd brought our own covers anyway. Great shower, plus all cooking stuff and ...

Some reviews have said about a bottle of wine, it would have been nice, especially as it was my partner's birthday, but we couldn't find one. Like another person said too, we found the mattresses hard, however if you are aware, it can be worked around. Take care on the decking slope, as it can get a bit slippy. We should have packed wellies, as we had storm Claudia, and it rained most days! Didn't make any difference though - we were tucked up all cosy inside. Loved the little summerhouse, with a rocker amongst the chairs there. All in all, a lovely holiday, and exactly what we needed

Chirbury is a village in west Shropshire, England situated in the Vale of Montgomery, close to the Wales–England border. In the village is a village hall, a large public house called The Herbert Arms, and a post office, which is also the village shop. Montgomery is a short drive away and is popular with tourists. The town has a delightful selection of individual shops and a variety of pubs and restaurants, including the Michelin star restaurant, The Checkers, a fabulous way to make your holiday truly special. A few miles to the south is the historic market town of Bishop's Castle, an excellent place for a day or night out with its excellent pubs, live music and festivals throughout the year. A charming destination for a holiday.
