Beautiful property ,well maintained and a wonderful welcome basket.

Everything has been carefully thought of to ensure guests have a fabulous stay . We certainly enjoyed the stunning location , the hot tub was such a treat and everything in the cabin is top notch . ..the bed was also so comfy. Absolutely loved our stay here, our favourite so far!

The accommodation is high quality with all the amenities you need including a lovely welcome hamper with lots of goodies. The setting itself is so beautiful and unspoilt with stunning views and lots of sheep and birds. Very peaceful. Loved spending the day relaxing out on the patio, which got plenty of sunshine. The garden was perfect for my mini dachshund fully secure and lots of space to play, she loved it here too. The views from inside are gorgeous and waking up to sunrise is magic! The bed was soooooo comfy slept so well. Hot tub is the cherry on top. When we peeled ourselves away the surrounding area is stunning we ventured on a woodland walk at Gilfach and also visited Elam Valley Dam, so much to see and do, would definitely return! Thanks to our hosts Banty and Rachel, and the team for making our stay so enjoyable we loved it

Rachel and Banty were the perfect hosts and the cabin was beautiful. Our batteries were well and truly recharged!

The cabin is perfect.

Clean and well presented with lots of lovely little extras and touches. The location is secluded and wonderful with a stunning view from cabin and the hot tub. We had a fantastic break away from it all, couldn’t fault it.

Fantastic clean, modern property with entertaining views of lambs frolicking in nearby fields, to the sunrise and sensational lighting shifts across the valley.

Stunning dark skies for star gazing. Very dog friendly with an enclosed garden & walk behind the property or down a quiet lane. Lovely clean, large, covered hot tub we used each night with a view. Thoughtful welcome pack, well stocked kitchen and cooking tools. Comfortable beds, pillows, sheets and settee are of quality. We had a week and found lots to do & hidden gems to discover in the surrounding area. We can't recommend this property highly enough and would book again without hesitation. Thanks to Banty the farmer who is friendly and accommodating. Rachel and her team who we saw but never met, on a thorough clean and thoughtful preparation for guests. Thank you all. You have something special here.

The cabins were signposted very well from the main road which made getting there very easy.

We knew it was going to be a great stay from the moment we arrived when we found a towel, dog treats and even a new ball for her on arrival! The welcome pack was amazing - Welsh cakes, milk, bread, jam, crisps, and fresh brownies to name but a few. Bed was very comfy and super kingsize (which is unusual in our experience). Living room had excellent sofas and great TV, and the kitchen was very clean and modern with everything you need to cook up a storm! To top it all is the patio and an entire secure field for the dog, not to mention the superb views. We didn't use the hottub but I'm sure it too would have been great. Overall, the best cabin we've stayed in so far. Thanks Rebeca and Banty xx

We’ve stayed at this cabin three times already and plan to return twice a year.

Nowhere else in the UK gives us the same sense of peace. It is secluded and surrounded by beautiful view set in a truly comfortable stunning cabin. Banty and Rachel are wonderful hosts and we can’t recommend this place highly enough. Emma, Carl & Dogs x

Our stay at Dol Blodau cabin was absolutely perfect and just the reset we needed!

It was a very restful long weekend with the hot tub and beautiful scenery (lots of lambs out!), and we took a walk up the hill for stunning views. The cabin itself is a great size, super clean, and really well furnished - with a comfortable sofa and super king size bed. There were also so many lovely touches including milk in the fridge for a cuppa on arrival and a basket of goodies. Honestly one of the best accommodations we've ever stayed in and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the stay as a guest to make it as wonderful as possible.

Banty and Rachel are always so thoughtful and welcoming to this unique and special place.

My second visit and was just as wonderful as the first. I will be back… again!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay over Xmas.

The 'cabin' was spacious, comfortable, had everything we needed and was lovely and warm with a very pleasing sense of remoteness and spectacular views. The covered hot tub was a spectacular bonus. Highly recommended. This was a real find.

These are amazing cabins set in a beautiful location and prepared to the highest standards.

We absolutely love staying here and have rebooked several times to reflect that we believe it's simply the best place to relax and enjoy time as a family. The hosts provide a lovely food pack and warm welcome.

The perfect cabin getaway.

The cabin is very modern yet the owners have made it feel very homely with some lovely touches. The views are amazing and can be appreciated from the very private and covered hottub. The welcome pack goes well beyond any expectations. I Cannot rate this cabin and its owners highly enough.

This was our second time staying at this cabin, and we loved it just as much as the first.

We stayed for 7 nights with our two dogs and had the most wonderful time. The views are absolutely stunning, a perfect place to relax and take in the peace and quiet. The dogs loved having the outside space to run around in and were fascinated watching the sheep. We also enjoyed the lovely walks around the fields. Inside, the cabin is beautifully decorated, spotless, and had everything we needed and more. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we all slept so well. The living room is cosy and welcoming, and the outdoor seating area is the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the scenery. It really feels like a home from home with so many thoughtful touches. We’ve already booked to come back in spring next year, and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough for anyone looking for a peaceful, dog friendly break in Wales.

Just returned from a four night stay here and I must state for the record that this property is worth its weight in gold.

Rachel & Banty have done a wonderful job. The accomodation is fantastic with views to die for. If you want piece and quiet then this is the place for you. The hot tub is a bonus. I will endeavour to return soon as long as it's not fully booked due to the fortchoming popularity. Keep up the good work and thank you.

Everything was perfect from start to finish.

Rachel and Banwy are super hosts . The views are spectacular,, the super king bed allowed us to have the best sleep in years. Twice stayed and many more to book. 6 Days of Blissful, Peaceful atmosphere and lots of Special Touches.

Rachel & Banty were welcoming & thoughtful. The Cabins are Beautifully designed both interior & exterior, with comfort & ease of use in mind. Great Hot Tub! A location full of Valley Views and Sweet birdsong. Overhead fly Red Kites and other Raptors, with many other small birds chattering in the near by Forrest & hedgerow. Small Baby Bunnies scurrying, Sheep constantly moving up & down the Valley as they graze with their young & old alike. The Stars, unadulterated by the lack of light pollution and so much sky to view at the top of the Valley. What a Fabulous Retreat!

Rachel & Banty made us welcome from the start the flowers, hamper of delights and brownies were so thoughtful as was the milk in the fridge.

The lodge itself is beautiful and so homely, they have thought of everything from a few treats and poo bags and towel for the dog, to providing washing capsules and fabric conditioner, towels and extra rugs,books and brochures. My husband doesn't read books but couldn't put down the one about the local area and a man living off grid. As for the setting, absolutely beautiful and so peaceful just what we needed. Honestly book this lodge, if you want a peaceful break in gorgeous surroundings with lovely hosts you won't regret a minute of it. What an amazing stay!

The hosts have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay perfect. The accommodation has such amazing views to wake up to, we just wish we could have stayed longer. A secure garden, perfect for our dog meant we could relax even more. We couldn’t recommend the Dol Blodau enough!! Thank you for everything.

This is probably the best holiday we have had in this country.

The responsiveness of the host, the facilities in the property, the location and the ‘dog friendliness’ all contributed to making it a fantastic experience. The holiday was a surprise birthday present and Rachel and Banty’s assistance and attention to detail helped to make it a very special occasion.

We had a lovely few days, the dogs absolutely loved the enclosed space to run around and watch the sheep.

The cabin was perfect, it had everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable, the views were amazing. Even with all the rain we still had a very relaxing time, the dogs got a bit muddy due to the rain, but there was a hose to clean them up before allowing them back in which was very handy. The hamper and dog treats were a lovely extra too! The hosts were both lovely! Highly recommended, we would love to come back again when the weather is a bit better so we could enjoy the outside some more!

The whole place was beautifully thought out.

We had everything we needed and total privacy to just relax. Thanks for being amazing and arranging a a treat in advance, that’s so special for us. The place itself and the view! We are just so lucky that the Ewbant Farm can be shared with the likes of us city dwellers dying for some peace and fresh air. Don’t hesitate, book now it’s beautiful and comfortable with rolling hills as far as the eye can see.

The hosts have thought of everything and were very welcoming. We enjoyed our peaceful relaxing break very much and will definitely return. The enclosed garden for the dogs was perfect too and the view was amazing.

We had the most wonderful few days here.

Every year we go to a similar style property and this has been the best by far. Not only is the location perfect and the scenery beautiful, the owners have thought of every little thing to make your stay as special as possible. There were treats left out for us (I won’t give away what because it was a lovely surprise). The quality of the beds and bedding were just wonderful (nothing worse than a lovely place that you can’t get a good sleep in!). We Will definitely be returning. Can’t thank you enough. What an absolutely stunning place to visit!

We’ve had the best week and will definitely be back in the future! Rachel, Banty and family were amazing hosts and thought of everything. We had a lovely welcome hamper, hot tub towels, robes… the list goes on. It’s so relaxing and peaceful and the views are amazing. There are some lovely walks right on the doorstep, and lovely places to visit a short drive away such as Elan Valley. Be sure to follow the route down to the river! What a wonderful lodge, a gem of a find.

My husband and I (and our two dogs) had a very pleasant stay with fantastic views, accommodation and facilities, everything you would need and like for a relaxing break away as a couple, family or group of friends. Banty and Rachel had thought about the customer experience very well, which included a rather lovely and well thought out welcome pack, and also for the pooches. There was various books and games to play too. The accommodation was very comfortable to stay in, including the beds. We took our PS5 so we could also watch Netflix, Sky Go, listen to music, or play on the console as desired. The hot tub was very well maintained, one of the cleanest we’ve been in, and was very relaxing taking in the breathtaking views. The dogs loved being able to run around in the enclosed garden and to watch and listen to the sheep in the fields and also numerous species of birds. We enjoyed it so much so that we’ve booked to return again in a couple of months time.

From start to finish we cannot fault this beautiful little gem.

Location and lodge were amazing , the hamper was very well thought out and welcomed. The lovely large sofa in front of the beautiful view was where we spent alot of time. The super kingsize bed allowed me to have the best quality sleep I've had in years and the furniture is so beautiful, honestly i could go on and on. Wifi is scatty which is only down to how beautifully remote and isolated you are. We took our own and it worked perfect Rachel and Banty were superb hosts. The hotub was simply amazing with views to fully appreciate. Dark Skies allowed endless star gazing aswell. We have found our little peice of Heaven and within 20 minutes of being here we secured a xmas booking . Thank you Rachel and Banty. See you soon xxx

We absolutely loved it!

We have travelled worldwide and this cabin is one of the best places we have stayed. The accommodation was so tastefully decorated and extremely well equipped; the beds were so comfortable and furnishings excellent. The hosts Banty and Rachel were so helpful and kind and nothing was too much trouble. The views across the valley were to die for . A perfect secluded place for relaxation and recuperation.

Wonderful Cabin in a stunning location with views to match.

The owners were friendly, attentive and always available for anything, including when I was stuck behind some sheep on a nearby lane. Secure Garden for small or larger dogs. Tub was cleaned discretely every day and new towels were provided during our stay. The little touches of the Robes, Slippers, welcome gifts just topped off a great week away. We will be returning. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

You were fantastic hosts and had thought of everything when equipping our cabin. Everything was luxurious, immaculate and so well co ordinated. However the outstanding experience of the cabin paled into insignificance in comparison to the stunning, awe inspiring setting and panoramic views. Thank you - we will be back.

Dol Blodau is a beautiful place, both the accommodation and the location.

From the moment we arrived we were blown away by how beautiful everything was. The view was amazing and really made our trip special. The cabin had everything we needed and more for both us and our dogs. I can’t recommend this place enough. We booked it for my partners birthday and Dol Blodau has certainly given us memories we’ll never forget.

We thought we were visiting to explore the local towns.

But we rarely went further than a couple of miles on foot, coming back to soak in the view (and the hot tub) loafing on the sofa watching the clouds change the colours in the landscape and listening to birdsong and the lambs. A very well appointed cabin and everyone so friendly. We left once for a meal at the recommended 'The Triangle', fabulous. The first reveal as you open the lounge door though, unforgettable.

Perfection!

- I can honestly say this is the best accommodation we have stayed in. It was immaculate. It had everything you need for your stay; cooking and cleaning up equipment, a hairdryer, robes and towels for the hot tub all provided. The finishing touches and attention to detail was exceptional, including a welcome basket of treats, and even some for the dogs. There are a selection of books and games available to play, my son particularly enjoyed the sketchbook and pencils to draw. The show stopper though, is the incredible floor to ceiling views you could watch all day from inside, outside, or the hot tub! You can explore parts of the surrounding land and head out up The Hill for even more spectacular views and if the night sky is clear you can take advantage of the darkness and gaze at the stars above. Thank you for a brilliant few days, we have already been look at dates to return to unplug from busy city life and relax in perfect surroundings.

The cabin was clean and well equipped. The kitchen had everything needed to make amazing meals. The welcome gifts for us and a dog and fresh flowers was so appreciated ❤️ Oh, and the bedroom with spectacular view

What a charming cabin!

We needed a relaxing weekend break and we couldn't have asked for more - gorgeous views of the valleys, countryside, not to mention all the baby lambs we saw on the drive in/out! The interior of the cabin feels immensely fresh and stylish, with so much attention to detail, and a full range of cutlery and utensils which was fab! There is mobile signal and wifi which was an added bonus though still feel so disconnected from the rest of the world which is exactly what we were hoping for. The hosts were lovely to meet and very quick to answer any questions! The cabins are easy to find so long as you follow the directions correctly. So many wonderful places to explore. Our small dog and toddler were able to play at their leisure in the enclosed garden. There is a second cabin too which if travelling in bigger groups would make a great additional space, as well as an extra hot tub! The hot tub was especially relaxing and very easy to work. We will definitely be returning! You will not regret staying here, thank you so much for having us ♡
