Swallows Nest

Had a recent 2 night stay and it was just perfect.

Property had everything we needed for the stay and nothing else but a whole lot of peace and quiet ! The road to the property isn’t very big and is a bit dodgy at times but that can’t be helped and it’s probably seemed worse when you aren’t used to driving on roads like that. It’s the perfect place though to just relax and escape the real world for a while. Thank you so much and we will definitely be returning soon

Absolutely loved my stay at Squirrel’s Drey — it really is a stunning place.

The hut is beautifully done, incredibly cosy and comfortable, and set in a special location. Everything had been thoughtfully provided, making it easy to relax and enjoy being there from the moment I arrived. The owners were absolutely amazing, helpful and welcoming while also giving complete privacy. It’s rare to find somewhere that gets the balance of comfort, setting and hospitality so right. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Squirrel’s Drey and already hoping to return.

The host is absolutely amazing, she’ll check in when she can and has a lovely attitude to her guests.

We’ve been to this location twice now within 6 months, and will definitely be returning as it’s a gorgeous lodge with beautiful scenery right outside. Highly recommend for a lovely weekend away!

Lovely property, perfect for a little winter break.

Excellent for a cosy, warm evening reading a book - even in winter the fire got it nice a toasty! Emma and her family were incredible hosts - we would happily go back.

Squirrels Drey, is in a lovely peaceful secluded spot.

It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. We had a very warm welcome from Emma and it felt like nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay again

great hosts, nothing was to much trouble, we had a lovely peaceful break, beware the roads to and from are narrow with passing places, and could do with some repair,BUT if you are looking for a very peaceful and quiet break in comfortable surroundings.

This cabin stay exceeded our expectations in all areas!

The cabin was so beautiful, the host were accommodating and welcoming, the views were spectacular. We were so at peace, we really did not want to leave! We will be coming back for a longer stay, it was money well spent. I would recommend to everyone.
