Nestled in Trawsfynydd Holiday Village in Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park is Ty-Coed.
This beautiful single-storey lodge sleeps up to four guests in two bedrooms, making it the perfect setting for a family getaway to Eryri (Snowdonia).
Park up in the designated parking space before taking a short walk up to the pine cabin, here you can see the breathtaking views over the Welsh countryside that the elevated decking affords.
Step into the property where a quaint open-plan living space greets you, unwind on the spacious corner sofa and pop on your favourite film while the electric woodburner flickers in the background.
Later, head into the fully-equipped kitchen to whip up a tasty meal that can be enjoyed as a group at the extendable dining table; it is here where you can open a bottle of wine while swapping stories about the trip and planning your itinerary.
As the evening draws to a close, head into the handy bathroom to wash off the day’s adventures in the walk-in shower then slope off to sleep in either of the double bedrooms.
Both rooms are furnished with plenty of storage and boast Smart TVs which are perfect for lazy mornings in bed.
Ty-Coed is perfectly located in Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park which is a vast and stunning area of natural beauty, home to some of the most amazing landscapes in the UK.
The park is full of attractions, including Rhaeadr Ewynnol (Swallow Falls), the Snowdonia National Park Visitor Centre, Gwydir Forest Park, and Fairy Glen.
There are also plenty of restaurants and bars in the area, including the Y Stablau - Stables Bar and the Hangin' Pizzeria.
You could also visit Porthmadog, a charming town that is home to a variety of attractions, including the iconic Portmeirion Village and Traeth y Greigddu beach which is ideal for a sunny day.

Or take a day trip to Aberystwyth, a charming coastal town; the town's Aberystwyth Castle Grounds are a must-see, as is the Aberystwyth Arts Centre, which features a variety of exhibits and performances.
Amgueddfa Ceredigion Museum is also worth a visit, as is the Parc Natur Penglais, which offers beautiful views of the town and coastline.
When it comes to dining and drinking, Aberystwyth does not disappoint.

The accommodation is lovely in a nice part of the site.
It has been fitted out beautifully with a lot of care and thought. It is not huge but the space has been well used and there is everything you could need, all of which is excellent quality. I think we stayed during one of the hottest weeks of the year and the cabin did get quite warm which is obviously no fault of the owners but they had provided plenty of fans which were very much appreciated! The site is conveniently placed for exploring Snowdonia. Highly recommend.
Very cute cabin!
We really enjoyed the stay. The telescope is a great bonus. The cabin, however, was great! It’s a bit of an escape room trying to figure out where the electric barbecue is and how to get into it — took us the whole first evening — I might suggest having a one page cheat sheet on the notice board specifically for all of the combo locks and hidden items. The binder is too big to read cover-to-cover after a long drive. But we did eventually figure it all out. Being in a dedicated darkness zone is really cool during the summer, we were there during the proceeds meteor shower and saw something like 20 shooting stars before we went to bed at 1 AM. Lots of nick hikes in the area and you couldn’t ask to be any closer to the mountain biking park next-door. Overall, we really loved the stay!! we would come back.
One of our friends owns a cabin on site.
Lots of us rented cabins in the same week. This was by far the best of all the rented. It had everything that you would need. Beautiful views, so very well placed. It did get very warm in there, but we made great use of the fans provided. Thank you.

Note: Site rules, request dogs to be kept on leads, however, there is a
3.5 acre enclosed dog exercise area close to the cabin where they can
run free.
Note: Dog owners are respectfully asked that dogs are not left alone in
the cabin and to bring their dogs bedding / throws and dog towels with
them.
Note: There is a small shop selling essentials, a small launderette and
a bistro on the site.
Note: Property access is not suitable for guests with mobility issues as
there is a steep slope leading from the carpark, 4 steps leading up to
the decking and a step up into the cabin.
Note: Children are welcome but the property is not suitable for infants.
