Dorchester

This is our second holiday at the Dorchester lodge.

Another fantastic time. Views are amazing whether its sunrise or sunset. Early morning dog walks with seals on the beach was a bonus. Had time to relax and also visit local areas too. Seal watching at Horsey beach. Dining at the Ship Inn. Local fish and chips and chinese just over the road. Day tips to Cromer and Great Yarmouth for ice creams too. The lodge is also so well equipt you cannot really ask for more and so very clean. Comunication with the owners was easy, but never really needed them. I would highly recommend the Dorchester.

We had a wonderful stay at the Dorchester.

The lodge has absolutely stunning sea views. Also equipped to a high standard with everything you need to create a relaxing homely atmosphere while listening to the sea. Superb!

We absolutely loved our stay in the Dorchester - the accommodation was gorgeous (the only criticism was the main bed wasn’t particularly comfortable but not so much it ruined the holiday at all!

) The location of the accommodation right next to the beach was just perfect and we had some lovely evenings sat outside watching the tide come in. We’d highly recommend staying here - the only reason we didn’t book it again straight away is that it’s already booked for the week we go away!

Dorchester was an amazing find its beautifully clean,everything you need a home from home.

The view over to the beach and sea is amazing and it’s so peaceful listening to the waves, a gate from site gives easy access to the beach . Plenty to see and do in the area or just relax on the veranda . Lovely to receive a message from Natalie the owner before and after the holiday making sure everything was ok and wishing us a lovely holiday and safe journey home. We have already booked for next year. Highly recommended

The best lodge we have stayed in ever,and the view wow.

The owner goes beyond what you expect from a holiday lodge with all the little extra touches like fans, lap blankets etc. We have booked again we enjoyed it that much.

Beautiful position, fantastic lodge, very comfortable, clean and tidy, lovely and quiet site.

Beautiful van, immaculately clean, everything we needed for a luxury stay.

The view of the beach is just stunning. Very private. Such a lovely sea breeze in this extremely hot weather. Would book again tomorrow if available.

What a beautiful lodge!

The view was stunning and a main reason for us choosing it. My mother is elderly and has mobility problems and we also chose this lodge because it was on one level. She had the bedroom with the en-suite and was very comfortable (there are three steps up to the entrance but she was fine with them.) Mum loved sitting in the comfortable living area, watching the sea through the patio doors. The beach is beautiful too. Dogs can use it all year round and our dog adored his stay. The owner of the lodge, Natalie, contacted us before we arrived and was very friendly. The facilities in the lodge are exceptional with lots of lovely little touches eg a hot drinks station above the kettle with tea, sugar, hot choc sachets; throws in a basket to be cosy in the evenings; games in the cupboard; a huge TV screen and another TV in the main bedroom. It was all lovely, thank you.

What can I say, lodge was very nice clean and got everything you would want.

We had a much needed wonderful relaxing break in Dorchester.

Beautifully modern, spotlessly clean and everything we needed to make it feel like a home from home. But the most important thing for us was its location. Front line to the beach with two direct private entrances to the beach. Hearing the constant crash of the waves from our living room was pure bliss and so heart healing. Natalie the owner messaged me before and after our break to ensure everything was ok and that we enjoyed ourselves in her stunning lodge. I have already recommended Dorchester to friends and family and look forward to booking again in a few months time.

We were looking for a nice quiet winter break by the sea.

Met all expectations, was well equipped, clean and very comfortable with great sea views. Thoroughly enjoyed

Very comfortable lodge right next to beach.

We went in January but lodge was cosy and warm and well insulated.

This property was amazing there was everything you need on your break including a lovely coffee station.

The sound of the waves was amazing and the location spot on. It was more than we expected. Great site. We went in Winter and still had the best time. The communication with the owners was great and a leaving message from them was a lovely touch. Definately reccomend this place will be back :-)

We had a loverly time in the Dorchester on the beach.

Our dog Molly loved her early morning walks on the sand.

A beautiful property in a beautiful location.

You want for nothing in the static home, the kitchen was very well equipped including an air fryer, much to our delight. It was very well heated and kept us snug and warm overnight, even though it was November. The beds were super comfy, topped with perfect quilts. Access to the beach is no more than 75 metres away with a gentle slope down to the sand in one direction or 12 steps, approx, the other. And you can walk for miles along this amazing beach. All in all we had a fabulous time and wouldn’t hesitate returning.

Beautiful location overlooking the sea and beach!

Our family had an amazing time relaxing in the top class lodge and enjoying scenic walks along the coastline. Great places to eat in surrounding villages. Thank you to the owners for being so accommodating with our last minute requests. Your amazing customer service made us feel at ease and enjoy the rest of our Halloween break. The girls are already asking when we are going back so they can go for a swim in the sea!

Outstanding location right on the beach.

The accommodation was excellent well designed and with easy access as we had elderly parents. The property felt like a home from home with all the comforts and accessories you would want. Clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend this property to others wanting a seaside location with all amenities

The lodge is in a great position for access to a wonderful beach - easily accessible lodge with plenty of parking and very private.

The lodge is well furnished and equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday - would definitely recommend. Very kind and helpful owner who was there when we needed her.

Fantastic lodge to stay at.

Very clean, cosy and comfortable. It’s the perfect location with a beautiful sea view. We had a very lovely restful stay. Would recommend.

The lodge is beautiful and you will never tire of the views over the sea, we even had the pleasure of seeing a seal pop its head up out of the water every day

Lodge was fantastic very homely a very relaxing time see you and very soon. I can only score this lodge 10 out 10 it's lovely recommend this lodge if you want a quiet and relaxing break this lodge is for you. We also took Charlie the dog away he loved it too. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

A lovely lodge, comfortable and well equipped for a short holiday. Gorgeous sea views, right next to the beach. An ideal place to relax and unwind.

Fantastic views overlooking the sea,lovely beach with plenty of room and pools for children to play in.

Our lodge had everything you could think of and it was all of the highest spec,well done Natalie and Ian,the owners.Natalie even talked us all the way to the lodge when I foolishly took a wrong turn. Wonderful weather,great holiday, Reg and family.

We had a lovely relaxing holiday.

The lodge had all the amenities required for our holiday. It had a fantastic sea view and when I had to contact Natalie regarding the electric car charger she was really friendly and helpful.

Short break but very much worth it.

Brilliant location cottege is well kept clean and everything you would need lovely message from the owners before our arrival.

Would not find fault with anything 2 fans available which was a godsend given the heat. I would recommend the property to anyone wanting a holiday near the sea and easy access to the beach.

This luxury lodge directly overlooking a dog friendly beach is fully kitted out with everything you need including an EV charger.

The village itself has a well stocked store, fish and chip shop where the fish is cooked whilst you wait and a Chinese restaurant/takeway, all within 5 minutes walking distance of the site There is also a large Waitrose Supermarket on the outskirts of North Walsham approximately 4 miles away. Highly recommended.

Excellent accommodation, just hope other guests look after it as we did.

As you know we have rebooked for next year. Very well equipped and very thoughtfully decorated.

Our recent stay at the Dorchester holiday home was a truly relaxing experience.

The property was quiet, comfortable, and very well appointed, providing everything needed for a seamless stay. Being right next to the excellent sandy beach was a major highlight, offering easy access to the sea and stunning coastal views. The location also boasts great local walks and interesting places to visit, making it an ideal base for exploring. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful and enjoyable seaside escape in Norfolk

Really fantastic position overlooking the sea. Only negative point was the pillows - too firm and head felt balanced on a hill!!

Our last week at the Dorchester at Sandy Beach was absolutely incredible.

What a lovely static caravan with all the things you need and we loved it. Lovely coast and market towns all over the place, well worth the visit.

We had an amazing 4 night winter break at Dorchester.

The owners have thought of everything to make this one fabulous stay. To wake up to those crashing waves was the biggest tonic ever. You cannot believe quite how close you are to the beach. Will absolutely be rebooking.
