Freddy's Lodge, Foxburrow Hang

This is the second time we have stayed here and we will definitely come again in the future, it's very quiet and the redwings horse sanctuary is close by as is the owl centre as our daughter is Autistic these are ideal, and Great Yarmouth and Cromer are other great places to visit and if you want to go out for a meal there are places not to far away to go to as well.

Great interaction with the owner, left something behind and I contacted the owner, she was very accommodating and helped get it back to us.

Caravan was nice and tidy.

The lodge had everything we needed, including a spacious lounge and patio area. The bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed a good night's sleep. The sunbeds were a fantastic addition for relaxing, along with the table, chairs, and umbrella provided. The owner was friendly and very helpful; she respected our privacy while being available if we needed anything. The site itself was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We would consider returning to Freddy's Lodge next year, health permitting. Thank you for our lovely stay.

We enjoyed our few days at Freddie’s Lodge.

The lodge is modern, well equipped and bright. We particularly liked access to the generous veranda from the double doors in the lounge. The site itself is quiet, and well kept with access to the pool and walks along Angles Way. Our stay was just the break we needed.

Me and my family just had a brilliant holiday at this lodge, we will definitely book again, the site is a lovely peaceful place to have a break with beautiful surroundings, the golf course club house and pro shop opening times are a bit erratic but that doesn’t affect how lovely this place is.

With Great Yarmouth just down the road there is plenty to do not to mention lots of other places to visit. Plenty of places to eat which are near, the bell pub just down the road is very good. Couldn’t recommend this lodge highly enough.

Absolutely beautiful caravan situated in the most peaceful and quiet surroundings.

Perfect for relaxing and listening to the many variety of birds. A walk in the eve and you'll spot deer. The caravan was immaculately clean with everything to make your stay comfortable. A real home from home. A perfect addition was an airfryer!! Super comfy beds and pillows. Hot shower and lovely warm central heating. Bed linen and towels were provided. There's a swimming pool on site which you have access to. The caravan is situated to so many lovely local places of interest. A short distance from Great Yarmouth and beyond... Our favourite, the seal colony ay Horsey, which was breathtaking. Pat and Jeff are the most warm of hosts, always on hand to help or offer assistance. We would highly recommend staying here. We loved our two weeks. Thanks P&J x

The caravan is absolutely perfect.

A real home from home with everything you need for a comfortable break away discovering Norfolk. The caravan is well stocked, immaculately clean, lovely hot water and heating. Idyllic location. Unfortunately I became ill but, fortunately we've managed to book another week here at this delightful place. Pat and Geoff couldn't do enough to help us. So kind. We're looking forward to enjoying a nice holiday here this week.

All very nice, good heating, comfy beds and well equipped kitchen , very nice site with pool & sauna, didn’t get to use the restaurant and bar as was closed during our stay , would definitely visit again during summer months

I only have one very minor niggle.

We could not find a teapot. Being oldies we prefer tea made in a pot rather than the cup. Other than that the accommodation was excellent, The area itself is great with lots of interesting places to visit. We had one meal in the restaurant and it was excellent. I would heartily recommend this lodge and the Park.

Fully equipped. Spent a week with my grandson. Would recommend.

The caravan was lovely.

I think it needed a few hooks for things like coats, dressing gowns, towels etc. The Barn and swimming pool were great. The site was very quiet which we as adults appreciated but there wasn't an area for kids to play sports (frisbee, cricket, football etc) We could see areas marked out on the site map but they were not yet created. I think this should be a priority for the site management.

We had a lovely stay here accommodation excellent very good site and a good location.

Couple of suggestions storage for outside cushions and pasta bowls would have been useful. Would recommend

We had a lovely week, the weather was good to us and the accommodation was 1st class, every need was catered for.

The owners were very kind and everything was as it said in the advertisement.

Very pleasant stay in a very nice lodge on an immaculately maintained wonderfully quiet site where the lodges are well spaced apart and not cramped together like on many sites.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable break

When phoning to arrange to pickup the key the owner wanted my wife to give a precise time, for various reasons including length of journey we couldn't and were asked to ring back.

I rang two days later and had to agree to phone her when we were an hour away on our journey. On arrival we were pleasantly greeted by her husband but we're surprised to find a key lock box outside the caravan. If this had been used it would have saved him waiting, repeated calls for us and the stress of having a deadline for arrival.We wondered why, as a retired couple,we had to be vetted personally. On previous stays with Sykes the key box system has always proved to work perfectly.

sadly my wife took ill on tues the 9th.

our 25th wed anniversary.we had to leave and go home she spent the next 3 days in ipswich hospital.so we lost 4 days of our holiday. but the 3 days we had there were very nice. we did inform the owners and left the keys at the main reception. kind redards colin& lesley loveland.

Everything you may need. Good bar restaurant and coffee shop on site. Very peaceful site.

Everything was fine the Caravan,the area the only slight gripe was that there was no WiFi but we already new that but we definitely would book there again.

Well equipped and comfortable. Everything worked well and we had a lovely week. Very quiet setting, which suited us well. Would recommend.

The van itself is lovely, but as its on a new site, there are hardly any facilities.

The pool is small and only open for 2 hours in the afternoon which made us all like sardines in there, plus it has to be paid for on top. Pools are normally included. The restaurant had an excellent carvery, but breakfast was very expensive (I think it was the coffees that were overpriced) and late at 8.30 on the weekend and 10am during the week. There are plans to put a shop on site,but for now, it's a 10 minute drive to the little tesco. The sun loungers at the van we're very comfortable, a lovely van and very nice, helpful owners.
