Chalet 39

The chalet was dirty thick dust dog hair every where furniture had never been moved had to was all cutlery pots before use skirting boards filthy out side space dirty I had to sweep and clean it before we could sit out side no instructions how to use the hob instructions poor on how to operate the microwave no instructions for the air fryer

The chalet was well equipped and although small had everything we needed for our time away.

The site was quiet and well maintained. Some areas of the chalet weren't as clean as we would have expected, the living room blinds were still broken and we had to make our own beds on arrival but for such a budget price it was a great base for us

WE did not enjoy our stay.

And would not book with Sykes again

On arrival beds hadn’t been made offered another chalet but had loads of ants so couldn’t stay in that one, then went to the one next door beds were clean but chalet hadn’t been cleaned, was told would be cleaned next day and wasn’t, had conversation with the owner told he would refund me some money that didn’t happy so very disappointed

Great stay and well equipped chalet, one of our blinds had fallen off when we entered the property and the owner came to sort this out.

Chalet situated in a good area and walkable to the beach. Enjoyed our stay.

When we booked chalet 39, it was listed that there was broadband/WiFi.

On our arrival we found that there was not broadband or WiFi. The owner had left details of a network and password but we couldn't find a network that matched. We contacted the owner about this leaving a voicemail and what's app message but didn't get a reply, at all. We also contacted sykes cottages and they didn't get a reply either. Good job there wasn't an emergency issue. However, chalet 39 was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. Beds comfortable. Bath and shower also good. A couple of small coffee tables would've been good in the lounge. One of the window blinds was broken but it still covered the window.

Not good enough no oven just Ninja and microwave two plate hob. Mattress in the Double . Springs digging in you . To single room in a disgusting state. Single duvet . Badly stained . Try to get I touch with a number that was there No reply. Told by other owners it has changed hands. Mr Blofeld very Disappointed .

After arriving at chalet 39 .

for a little break we found the chalet spotless .there were everything you needed ..very very clean. And very comfortable .we will be back.

Great base for our last minute dog friendly holiday.

Walking distance from shops, amusements and the beach. Chalet was clean and had everything we needed. We had a problem with WiFi but Gabrielle at Sykes got in touch with the owner who came round to sort it the same day. Overall we had a lovely week away.

We had a couple of queries which were responded to & sorted very quickly & efficiently

Unfortunately the fridge was broken, luckily we only booked for 2 night's!

The site itself was great, very clean and a lovely 10 minute walk to hemsby beach.
