Lovely little cabin in a pleasant setting on the site.

Very close to coast path to Cromer or Overstrand which were short scenic cliff top walks.

We were very impressed by this property.

Well furnished and presented, in a good state of repair, clean and comfortable. Had pretty well everything that we had hoped for. The key system works well re arrival and departure. Happy to give it five stars, but a few minor points nevertheless : • Needs a bathroom mat for when one steps out of the excellent shower • The fridge wasn’t working properly, with the coldest setting still allowing some milk to go off. Compendious file of instructions on all devices, very useful, but didn’t have anything in it to help with this problem. • Guests should realise that of the two routes to approach the chalet, from the car park, only the longest one has an actual concrete pathway all the way [but that partially blocked by over-growth of trees]. The shorter route requires walking across the grass to reach 126A on the final stretch, okay unless it is raining or very dewy in the morning. Thank you. Very much enjoyed our visit.

My second visit to this charming and comfortable chalet, just a stone’s throw from a cliff side walk along Cromer beach leading to the pier.

I would love to return again. The property is fully equipped for a short stay with several amenities close by. However, Sykes’ customer services is sadly substandard (not at all a reflection on the property). PS: please consider updating the top sheets for the bed linen. Still, very comfortable stay overall.

Although mentioned, my wife found the three steps part without a safety rail to the property a little difficult.

The property was beautifully clean on arrival.

A great little chalet , very modern.

The only issue we had was the infestation of insects.

Warm nights and open windows,so close to the wood. Not sure how this could be rectified but we were hoovering the ceiling before going bed. We doused ourselves in insect repellent and still got eaten alive.

Excellent accommodation that we found very last minute.

Clean and comfortable, perfect for a short stay. Beautiful walks close by and Cromer beach is easily accessible a short drive or a pleasant walk away.

Have stayed in 3 apartments on this site and this is the best so far.

This chalet suited us perfectly for a long weekend in Cromer.

We loved its proximity to beautiful coastal paths and peaceful woodland. We would happily stay again in the same chalet.

This is a really nice little chalet in a great location as a base to explore Cromer and the north Norfolk coast.

The site itself is very well maintained and looked after, but it's worth noting that when we visited at the very end of September, it was very quiet, with very few chalets occupied, making it feel slightly eerie at night. Having said that, even though there was no-one around we didn't feel insecure. The chalet is comfortable but basic. The kitchen is well equipped and very clean and modern. The beds are quite small and the double could probably do with a new mattress, but overall this was a simple chalet that offered good value for money in a great location,

We noticed that the hand rail had been installed but it was not really safe as it had no down rails just a large gap.

If you had young children they could slip through easily .it was not easy getting our luggage to the chalet as no pathway from the car park just a grassy area that was a bit steep .some people would really struggle with that

Well situated near Cromer centre and beach.

Within walking distance of beach and rail station. Chalet was clean and well equipped. Just right for a couple but on the small side for a family of four.

Overall a lovely stay in a quiet, comfortable and clean chalet.

Will definitely consider going back. Only small issues we had were there were no cleaning products in the property. It would be nice to have them provided in order to keep the kitchen etc clean. Also the WiFi didn't work whilst we were there however that may have been a 3 network issue as there was one reported in the area and the router runs off the 3 mobile network.

Great comfortable stay for a family of 3.

Twin bed room got thumbs up from our seven year old daughter. Random guest's sock found under one of the single beds on last day! Our double bed was a bit small but expected as details clear and reviews. Loved bring able to walk to beach and train station - didn't use the car all week. Wonderful quiet site and lots to see locally. We recommend a train from Cromer to Sherringham to the steam railway to Holt. Chalet had most things we needed - didn't find a hairdryer or anti bac spray for surfaces but hand-wash and washing up liquid/cloughs/sponge/bin bags a-plenty. Games a nice touch in thr cupboard and a good selection of books. Great idea for the book swap. Found coat hangers in the walldrobe, very useful. A great holiday helped by great accommodation. Would definitely return.

A lovely, comfortable chalet with the benefit of wifi, on a peaceful site.

The owner has taken all suggestions on board and the chalet has comfortable mattresses, a bench & hooks behind the door. A great location to explore the area, with access to The Norfolk Coastal path, with walks to Cromer & Overstrand. We would definitely visit again.

Great little compact chalet.

Had everything you needed for a short stay. Modernised to a good standard and would definitely consider staying again. Feedback left by previous guests had been acted upon which was good to see. Nice also to see basic household cleaning products left for guests including tea & coffee. The beds were on the small side but understandable bearing in mind the size of the bedrooms. It would be difficult to fit anything larger in. Look forward to visiting again.

Chalet clean and well equipped.

Easy access to Cromer and good walks. Would not hesitate to use it again. Pleasant location. Would suggest provision of a garden seat to sit outside in good weather. Also, the mattresses are ready for replacement

A really uncomfortable holiday chalet with beds and sofas too small.

The mattresses and pillows on the beds were awful - could feel the springs through the mattresses and slept very badly all week. All of which is a shame because the chalet is in a good location which easy walking access along the cliff walk to Cromer centre and the town centre. However I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a more uncomfortable property. Left further feedback in the cottage guest book for the owner.

Small, but enough room for a week away for family of 4. Website would benefit from a site map to make finding the chalet easier.
