27 Lake View

We have stayed in this property several times.

It is always clean and well equipped. The owners of the property ate always willing to offer assistance and are always quick to reply to messages. The location is beautiful with lots of great places to visit nearby.

First though.

The accommodation. Is was very spacious. Look every you needed. Very quiet. But there was a few. Things. We knew about the problem with the mobile having not network there. That ok when book it. But the saying you have Wi-Fi Is like have a mobile phone the Use the internet. Very poor. Maybe need an upgrade or change. Not good need the internet for work A welcome package and what around the place. But you got to try the local pub wow the plough marsham is amazing and one of the best Sunday roasts we have

Very comfortable, clean and pleasant.

The area was super. Loved the lake and horses. Would go again.

First impressions were, very bright and airy, clean and welcoming.

Nice views and a very peaceful location. Lovely dog walks through the woods and around the lakes. Would benefit a welcome pack explaining location of walks, nearby pubs and general info. Will also benefit from the impending fitting of fibre optics for WiFi as signal is very weak. But apart from that it was all superb.

Loved the accommodation and the location.

Well equipped. Only disappointment was the poor quality of the WiFi. Specifically wanted WiFi for my daughter to work on her dissertation. Wouldn't usually bother us.

Arrived at 27 Lakeview to find it immaculately clean and well fitted out, could not wish for better.

Even got the WiFi working well after a couple of days - my fault didn't notice a button on back of the unit. We loved the peace and tranquility of the site , we will definately rebook for next year.

An enjoyable stay.

Not stayed in that chalet before. Only one not left us a welcome pack which is always lovely after a long journry. No smal veg knives westruggled with that and bought extra toilet rolls. Minor moans but all in all a lovely stay

We visit family in Norfolk and this location is perfect for us as it is close to our family.

It is a lovely quiet park with lovely walking areas around it. 27 Lake View is a lovely, comfortable, clean Lodge with everything you need.

A lovely holiday let set in a very quiet scenic place.

The Lodge itself was well equipped and very comfortable. Local pub 1 mile away and was excellent, local shop a further 1 mile up the lane which has a lovely cafe, walks from the doorstep and plenty of lovely, quiet lanes to cycle on. We only stayed 1 week but wished we had booked 2. Thank you for letting us stay in your Lodge.

Very disappointed we booked this stay because it was advertised as fishing lakes there are 2 lakes but neither can be fished on as they are too shallow and silted up with green algae.

This is advertised as a lodge when in actual fact it is a park home (Large Caravan)

we would come again

The comfort and quality of the lodge and furnishings are excellent.

The towels and bedding were lovely. The cleaning could have been a lot better. There were so many cobwebs, and these weren't just little recent ones. The cooker was filthy with grease. One of the seats outside was damaged, looked like someone had stood on it.

The location is pretty, peaceful and we love it.

From here, the maximum drive to anywhere of interest in Norfolk is 60-75 minutes. Many places need much shorter drives. Nearest shop for "immediate needs" is about 4 miles away. Nearest "big shop" 7 miles away. Plan accordingly. The site is "hidden away" (but perfectly accessible for cars). The property itself is lovely, very comfortable, certainly large for 2 people, clean, and has most things anyone might need. We had no complaints at all in that respect. (Please bring your own fans - the property does not have any! When hot, you will need them!) However there is, sadly, one drawback that was major to us, but which might not, understandably, matter to others. The internet connectivity is shockingly slow and bad. And that's when you can get it at all. So if you need to be web-connected, you may well find that you will be spending a lot of time watching circles whizz around on your screen. This may be a site issue, rather than a property issue. There is outside furniture, but one chair appeared unusable and the furniture didn't really appeal overall to us. It looked a bit "tired". Overall summary - a lovely property, well stocked, on a lovely and peaceful site, but not really ideal for those who need internet connection whilst away. And, as I say, when hot, bring your own fan!

Whilst the lodge would have been lovely when new it has been neglected considering the owner lives on site this coukd have been avoided.

Whilst the beds were comfortably & the linen & towels were of good quality the important things have been neglected. The two fireside chairs were in a very bad state they were covered in stains. I understand this is due to clients t neglect but it doesn't take long to steam clean when not in use. It states it has a washing machine but the detergent drawer & seal were full of water & gunk. I did leave a note to say PLEASE CLEAN ME again this could have been done during a change over clean. So consequently we only stayed five nights instead of the seven. Won't be staying there again.

Lovely lodge in a quiet and relaxing setting.

Would go again.

Stunning immaculate lodge in a beautiful location Lovely walks around the lakes and grounds and just beautiful.

The lodge is lovely and has everything you need and more !! The internet worked fine for us (you don’t need it so beautiful just to explore!) We would definitely stay again just perfect

We have stayed on the site a few times now and this was by far the best accommodation we've stayed in.

Very clean and comfortable, thank you

Stunning location.

Lodge perfect for our family needs. The only draw back was that the WiFi was very poor signal. Used coffee shops to downloads programs etc for the child. Add bonus was the dishwasher and washing machine. There is a private swimming at the top of the site which you are to book, great for raining days. We would defiantly return.

A very clean and well appointed lodge, very comfortable bed, a helpful owner, lovely quiet setting, plenty of walks for the dog.

This is a lovely place to stay for peace and quiet and the fishing is normally great however on this occasion we wer not allowed to fish the pond which was very disappointing.

Petite Lodge secluded by woodland and lakes.

Very rural location so a car is essential. Nearest beach was 30 mins drive. Lovely walk around the main lake passing through woodland, however signs on the park are very confusing as to where you can and can't walk. I'm sure that there were lots of walks to do but unfortunately we struggled to know where to walk, especially in the woodland, maps of local walks would've been fantastic. Lodge itself was comfortable and tastefully decorated, main bedroom was a good size with the addition of having en suite wc. Overall we had a pleasant stay, neighbours either side and in front were pleasant and even treated our dog.

Lovely lodge and location.

Very comfortable but pillows could do with upgrading and choice of hard/soft provided. Nice welcome pack provided. Very quiet park with nice walks. Unfortunately cannot recommend for on-site fishing, the 2 lakes are very overgrown/weedy with very few available swims (with a bit of good management and re-stocking by the site owners it could be excellent for fishing.

The Lodge cleanliness was excellent.

We had no complaints. Both had a restful weeks holiday. Just one thing to note was the directions to the lodge need updating. It’s 2nd on the left ! Some lovely walks around the estate. The grounds are very well kept.

Just the additional notes I left, overall we loved it .

, would defo go again such a comfy lodge warm and sunny , the neighbours were very nice too., great location so peaceful, just need to know where local shops are, Reception could put a list up too.. We had a most relaxing holiday - Thank you

Cosy lodge which had everything we needed, in a beautiful and peaceful location.

The lodge is very isolated good walking for dogs however no garden so dog has to be taken out on lead when wanting a wee.

VFew facilities within walking distance.

Lovely area, about half hour from coast.

Great weather all week. Very Comfortable accommodation. Norfolk a beautiful county.

Outstanding cabin with more than expected facilities, great location for exploring Norfolk and lovely site and setting with loads of walking opportunities and wildlife to see

Immaculate accomodation.

Other reviews mention poor WiFi but we found it worked absolutely fine (that includes the two teenagers who are generally glued to their phones!). A great base to explore the area & beaches of Norfolk.

The accommodation and the setting was fabulous.

Really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be back.

the property had few instructions about how to use things.

no instructions on how heating worked eventually tracked Steve down who sorted heating out but that was four days after arrival. just one cereal bowl !!! Could not get oven to work could hear clicking but no ignition. We took cage for our puppy but only place was in front of electric fire It rained every day which I think highlighted short comings of property Such a shame after our previous experience with Sykes

Very clean comfortable and well equipped lodge.

Beautiful countryside setting, we had a very relaxing week away in June 2021 would highly recommend.

Wonderful accommodation.

However it took us 40 mins to locate the lodge when we arrived. There should be a numbered plan of the lodges visible. Reception was closed. We asked several people but no one knew. No local information at the lodge.

Would be better if lodge had wi fi but other than that perfect

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 27 Lakeview Haveringland Hall Park.

Our Lodge was beautiful but if there was a disappointment it was that in this day and age WiFi would have been an advantage. We loved the area and the surroundings were wonderful. We will definitely book to go there again as this was the most relaxed holiday we have had for a long time.

Wonderful lodge - brilliant setting - would return - if going for fishing alone maybe slightly disappointed.

Beautiful place but very remote, which was better if anything.

Very peaceful, and the lake walk was amazing. Loads of wildlife everywhere. However, your instructions for finding the lodge were wrong. Your final instruction was first left, then first left again. It should read first left then SECOND left. We had a struggle finding it in the rain, but managed eventually.

Lovely accommodation with everything we needed for a family break.

Superb!

Will definitely be booking again. Note to owner and by no means is this a criticism but hopefully a constructive comment. The deal around the shower screen in the main bathroom needs attention as it does leak.

Not having wifi or any phone reception was a problem for us trying to communicate with friends and family in the area.

Lovely place well presented excellent all round would return most definitely

Really loved cottage, must be lovely there in the summer.

Plenty to do locally, love Felbrigg and Blickling Hall.

Peacefulness, allowing a complete rest to be had for a few days.

Thoroughly recommended

The chalet was beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped.

The location was quiet and pretty.

It is saying two fishing pounds but only one that is OK to fish But apart from everything was ok.

lesley left fresh flowers and cake biscuits milk andbread witch was most welcome the lodge was spotlessly clean and we all enjoyed our stay also the fishing was great caught lots of crucian carp

A very peaceful relaxing stay.

Beautiful fishing lakes and countryside fields provided a wonderful backdrop to the park. The facilities in the 'lodge' were good with dishwasher and washing machine provided. No wifi however it gave use the ability to switch off. Overall a good stay.

No mobile phone signal.

No wi fi. felt cut off. very quiet saw nobody else to talk to all week in the holiday park. Some kitchen utensils were absent. There was a notice to call at reception, but it was closed all weekend! Having a key safe by the door of the caravan was a good idea. There were plenty of walks around the site which I enjoyed. Location was good to get to places we wanted to visit. The local pub had a very good restaurant with an excellent chef.

Loved the lodge and the surroundings.

Beautiful scenery and exploring the woods was fantastic. The woods has an abundance of butterflies. The lodge itself was immaculate and very modern and had absolutely everything you could ever need. The only problem we had was it was the hottest week on record,Ha Ha. Loved the place a little remote and a little quiet but this suited us just fine. Love Norfolk and will defo be returning.

Absolutely brilliant.

Very well appointed, immaculately clean. Right by a lovely lake. Best holiday so beautiful and peaceful. Will return.

Very comfortable, clean, well equipped and ideal base to explore The Broads, Norwich and the coast.

A nice place to return to after a day exploring and so peaceful with pretty surrounds.

Beautiful lodge, fully equipped with everything you would need and finished to a high standard.

The area is gorgeous full of wildlife around the lakes and woods. We had a couple of trips out to the coast, only 30 minutes away, beautiful long stretches of sand perfect for dog walks. This accommodation was perfect for us with our dog as it has a veranda around it and our dog just loved sitting outside for hours. No WiFi as stated, but I did get an O2 signal

I would have liked to see a light over the bathroom mirror to use when I shaved.

The bathroom door hinge was very squeaky. Other than that we were very pleased with the accommodation. It was clean, well-equipped and spacious enough for two. Four might have been a squeeze, given the amount of stuff we carry around. We used the twin room for storage. John Fletchet
