Jolie

First time staying in jolie , couldn’t believe how dirty it looked.

Couldn’t sit outside everywhere was covered in bird poo . Every room was infested with ants . The whole place needed a deep clean. Looked lovely on the photos . What a shame it could be a lovely place if it got some TLC .

We have been to Jolie 5 times in the last 3 years but after our 2 week stay in May 2026 we won't be coming back.

Apart from the carpets and boiler which the owner has installed nothing else gets done. The main bedroom and kitchen are held together with edging tape, the en-suite shower door is falling apart and needs replacing as well as a deep clean to get rid of mould. We also had an infestation of ants in every room even on the worktops. Outside, the circular wooden bench table has been taken over by pigeons poo and grime. It is a shame as the property size and position are good.

Located on a nice part of the site , lots of lovely Munt Jack deers on site .

Jolie is a nice size and mainly fully equipped . There was some house keeping issues and Jolie could benefit from a deep clean in readiness for the up coming season. The bin had not been cleaned properly and there were yoghurt lids stuck to the bin lid from the previous holiday makers .One of our main concerns the mattress was quite a bit wider than the bed base and the mattress was floppy at the side hanging over . There was plenty of room in the living room and the TV was a good picture and sofas whilst low were reasonably comfortable. Skirting boards and doors need attention from the cleaning team.

This is a very well equipped lodge very comfortable and feels like being home loved every day had a lovely holiday

Lodge was amazing and had everything you needed.

Would love to go back in the summer. Was going to have to cancel as my dog had a major operation the week before but vet gave me the go ahead that I could take my dog on Monday morning and he had a lovely time in his crate just looking out the windows and watching the people walk past

Jolie is like home from home, everything you need is there.

Very quiet, relaxing, spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

After 4 visits to Jolie over the last 3 years we love the location, position and overall accomodation.

However, we are dissapointed that 2 issues that have previously been reported have not bee fixed. 1. THIS IS MOST IMPOTANT - The glass door in the oven when fully opened falls completely out and the hot glass landed on my wifes foot. This needs to be fixed a.s.a.p as there is no locking mechanism to stop this happening. Until it is fixed PLEASE go very careful when opening the door. 2. The bathroom hand shower still leaks from the hose connector point so it can't be used. A simple fix surely..

The lodge had everything you could ever need.

It was really comfortable and so suitable for dogs. We would definitely recommend it and return to it.

This was our second visit to Jolie.

Clean and comfortable, very quiet location on the park. We had a fabulous week, and no doubt we will return.

Key safe did not work (pressing cancel opened the key safe with no need to enter a code).

Had to turn on the heating so as to get any hot water and then only had hot water for about 30 seconds! Shower over the bath, the hose leaked and minimal water came out of the shower head. the sink in the family bathroom the plunger did not work so you had to unscrew the plug to empty the sink. On arrival we were greeted by an older gentleman who explained that the cleaner had to go home early as they were ill. Cleaning had not been completed where the fridge needed a good wipe out and the kitchen work surfaces were not cleaned properly. Overall the lodge was a little tired and is in need of some TLC with curtains need to be cleaned / replaced.

Lovely clean , comfortable well equiped lodge in ideal position on holiday park.

Spacious inside lodge & outside. New table & chairs on decking. Also picnic table & seats round back of lodge & other comfortable outside chairs. My daughter & husband & my husband & I had lovely week with fantastic weather. Two of us had mobility issues using sticks & walkers but had no problems getting about. On downside shower overbath was unuseable because of leaks in shower hose & so couple (one disabled) were only able to use bath!!! The non slip mat in ensuite shower was very grubby & limescale on shower head spoilt shower pattern but still useable & temperature controllable. Beds & all other furniture lovely. Tesco very convenient for food & fuel. Lots of nice things on park such as Ducks on pond & Hares running around. Convenient for chip shops & pubs for meals. Lots of interesting things to do nearby eg Beach ,Mill , trains , Norfolk Lavendar & Thursford Museum. A lovely holiday .Would be happy to return.

My cousin and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Jolie.

The quality of the accommodation exceeded our expectations. Beds were comfortable, as were the sofas. The grounds surrounding the property were lovely, offering shade and sun. We would definitely book Jolie again.

Our 3rd time at this property over the last two years.

The lodge is well equipped and in a nice position. We have mentioned before that the fixtures are looking tired I.e veneer fabric covering units coming off especially the drawer in the main bedroom where a todler could damage themselves as they are sharp. The bathroom shower hose pipe leaks and the outside table and chairs are very rusty which we have mentioned before.

Otherwise very nice.

Lovely lodge on a quiet part of the park.

Nicely and comfortably furnished with plenty of space. Maybe need to replace oven as hinges not allowing door to close properly and retain heat. All in all a really nice place to stay

. good heating, very comfortable queen bed Negative 1. Cooker door does not close so unable to use. Impacted our holiday as my husband is disabled and unable to eat out. This is despite owner getting feedback about this on 13th September. This should have been rectified. 2. The shower over the bath leaks flooding the floor near the toilet making it a real hazard for the elderly or disabled. Again this impacted on our holiday as we were only able to use the ensuite is small for a disabled person. After the cleaners arrive a day early a plumber was called but said he could not rectify the situation. This happened late morning the day before we were due to leave! Had we been aware of these 2 problems we would not have booked this property and are left feeling disappointed. We wonder if Sykes monitor the state of their rental properties because although this property looks good on line it's a tired and is definitely needs refurbishment.

Clean well equipped good location had a great break

The lodge, which was in a good position, had space inside, well equipped but looking very tired.

We felt that the metal decking furniture needed replacing as very rusty and flaking.

We had a wonderful stay in this lodge.

It has everything you need and more. If you need WiFi though,that is really bad.I got an email when I got home about the procedure for leaving the property,I think it would be helpful if it was in the red folder. Other than that a very comfortable lodge,beds especially

This was our 2nd visit to Jolie and had a really nice time.

The lodge is lovely and comfortable, situated on a quiet area of the park, which we like. The addition of wifi, would be great.

We were very happy with the property.

It was clean and comfortable, the only issue was the wifi connection, which was not good at all

We had a lovely holiday stay in Jolie.

Everything was very well catered for with very comfortable seating, the beds and bedding were superb, all towels were lovely and soft and a pleasure to use. The one thing that needed attention was the toilet seat in the on suit bathroom, the chrome on the hinges is peeling, and is very sharp, but apart from that Jolie is a butiful lodge, and a pleasure to stay in. very nice break oven and hob was a bit temperamental but apart from that no problems with the property, comfortable

A lovely lodge, very comfortable with a high standard of furnishings and well maintained.

Everything to make our holiday even better eg a washer/ dryer. Only a shame the weather didn't allow us to use the lodge's picnic table. Located in quiet area of the site with a grassy area to the rear. Parking for two cars at the front. Happy to recommend.

Lovely accommodation.

Very clean, smart, cosy and comfortable. Soft towels, nice bedding. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Nice to find starters of hand-wash, toilet roll, washing up liquid etc already available on arrival. Good instructions for appliances. Very impressed!

Nice Lodge, everything provided, nice location at back of site, wifi info needs to be clearer, we could not find a password for the Lodge.

As we were only there 3 days, we could manage without.
