Just to say a perfect getaway.

We have stayed at the lodge a few times and we keep coming back, we simply love the surrounding area it's so peaceful and quiet, the lodge is bigger than we expected, lots of room to move around.

The lodge has everything you need, kitchen is well equipped, shower is powerful, bed's are very comfortable. Derek and Simon, the owners are very friendly and are there if you need them. The village of Aberdaron and the beach are only a half hour walk away, or 5 minutes drive. We would definitely recommend, and are looking forward to our next visit .

This property is fabulous.

Spotlessly clean well appointed and warm. In a lovely setting. Nothing to complain about here! We will be back!

Absolutely love this lodge!

It’s beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It’s in a nice secluded spot but close to Aberdaron and many gorgeous beaches. We had a lovely holiday. The weather not so great but loved snuggling up infront of the woodburner after a windy walk! We will definitely return.

A fantastic find!

The lodge is impeccably clean and very comfortable. It is situated in a beautiful, peaceful location, great for birdwatching, sunsets and stargazing. The hosts are wonderful and have thought of everything. 5 out of 5 for us, we particularly loved the garden and outdoor seating area, the comfy bed, the wood burner and the kitchen which was so well equipped. Great Wi-Fi and TV too. The lodge is very spacious and warm. A lovely touch was the welcome pack provided by the hosts and the generous amount of wood and starter kit for the fire. This place is a gem and excellent value for money. We will definitely be returning.

Nant y Felin Lodge is a great place if you want peace and quiet.

Spacious and spotlessly clean, it has got everything that you need for a comfortable stay. We would definitely come back here. Thank you for the Welsh cakes, they were delicious!

Spacious private lodge with comfortable beds.

Very cosy accommodation just a few minutes drive from Aberdaron with its spectacular beach and walks. The lodge has a fabulous wood burner but we only lit it for atmosphere as the central heating kept all the rooms at a comfortable temperature. Great shower over a full sized bath. Lovely friendly owner. Our second week here this year and will definitely be looking to book again.

Again a fabulous stay we have been coming to Derek and Simons special place for the past 7 year's.

It had been a while since our last visit with my Grandchildren. And again it has lived up to all my expectations. It’s a great place to relax not traffic noice just cows and birds. Thank you again for the best relaxing week. See you both soon.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house very much.

The house is perfectly equipped, offers plenty of space, everything is clean and cozy. The hosts are super friendly and available at any time. They pay attention to sustainability at every point, which made us very happy. The way to the beautiful village, where there is also a shop (Spar) for the essentials is also within walking distance (20 min). If you are looking for peace and fascinating nature, this is the right place. We were there with our three children and our dog for a week. Thanks to Simon and his son, We'll be back!

We have stayed at this lodge a few times now, and each time we have had a lovely time, the location is lovely and quiet just how we like it, the lodge is superb, it is spacious and is equipped with everything you need, the beds are very comfortable, and the shower is powerful, Derek and Simon are wonderful host's, very friendly and accommodating, would definitely recommend and are looking to book again.

Perfect- spacious and private in a great location- comfortable beds (quilts were a little too warm but the weather was quite hot for Easter) The shower was powerful and plenty of hot water.

The kitchen was very clean and well equipped and it was nice to have patio does into the decking where there is a lovely table and chairs so we could eat outside. A short drive down the narrow country road to Aberdaron with a fabulous beach, ample parking (paid) two pubs, cafes, Spar and gift shops and fish and chip shop with seating next to the stream. Have booked again for October and looking forward to cozy nights using the log burner. Simon was a great host.

The cabin was superbly equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Spacious, clean and in a quiet location but within easy reach of numerous beautiful beaches and places to visit. Overall a fabulous place to stay.

Nant Y Felin lodge is perfect.

Lovely & warm, although the living room gets a little too hot when it’s sunny. The owners, Simon & Derek are really nice chaps & can’t do enough to help you if there’s a problem, although there aren’t many of those. The only negative I would give is that the family across the stream are very noisy, spend most days outside & rarely shut up. Apart from that, it’s perfect.

A beautiful cottage (lodge) in immaculate condition.

Plenty of room - large lounge and extremely large garden which was heaven for our dog. Big decking area through french doors from the lounge, with table and chairs. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings with no passing traffic. In all, a perfect place for our holiday. The three sofas in the lounge a little too soft for us, but that's because we are in our eighties with bad backs !!

A lovely, spacious, comfortable and welcoming place to stay with supportive and attentive hosts.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay, felt very much at home and would love to return in the future.

This lodge is the best we have ever stayed in.

Our second visit was as good as before and we will be returning. Simon and Derek are fabulous friendly hosts who have spared no expense on making this place perfect. It is in a beautiful setting in the country but very close to the village abd beach. Our 2 dogs love it there too as there is plenty of space in the well kept grounds. What more can I say it's a big fat YES from us

We had a lovely relaxing short break with our two dogs.

Everything we needed was provided and we enjoyed sitting on the enclosed decking with the dogs, when the weather allowed. Hoping to return again.

This lodge was immaculately clean, very cosy and comfortable.

Weather was poor during our stay but the lodge was lovely and warm, especially with the wood burning stove. The location is so tranquil with beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed sitting on the decked area and watching the woodpecker. Lovely welcome by Simon and the welcome pack was very much appreciated. This was a fabulous base for travels around the lovely coastal areas. I would definitely stay here again.

We both found the accommodation to be very nice and accurately listed, loved the powerful shower, the dimmer switches in the master bedroom and lounge were a little temparmentle but not a problem.

an outside tap to wash dogs down would be great. I know everyone is different in regards to sleep but we both found the mattress in the main bedroom we slept in not to be comfortable after a couple of nights, we owned a hotel many years ago and changed all the mattresses to medium firm and nearly everyone commented in the visitors book about how comfy the beds were. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Great property, all you need for a comfortable stay.

The location is ideal to get away from all of it and to enjoy all that the local area has to offer. Don’t miss out on the Aberdaron bakery and the beach for walking dogs. Hosts were great and we would return without hesitation.

We had a fantastic stay at Nant Y Felin Lodge.

What a lovely and spacious place to spend a week and all in a great setting. Our hosts could not have been better, they were friendly, communicated well and were responsive to our needs. The lodge is ideal if you have a little one as it is all on one level and the very large decked area has been made very safe for babies and toddlers. Overall 10/10 for the lodge and our hosts. Thank you so much for a truly lovely stay in a beautiful part of Wales.

The lodge is delightful.

It is in a perfect location with a large garden. It is near many beautiful beaches and around a 20 minute walk into Aberdaron. The lodge itself is spacious and well equipped as well as being comfortable, clean and overall of a high standard. It is one of the best places we have stayed, with welcoming hosts who are very accommodating. We would highly recommend Nant Y Felin lodge. Definitely worth five stars.

Welcoming owners, and much appreciated welcome treats, thank you Simon and Derek. Location well positioned for Aberdaron and Whistling Sands, as well as the rest of the Llyn peninsula. We walked to Whistling Sands from the accommodation. Great bird spotting opportunities and beautiful scenic walks. If you love nature and being away from the crowds, this is perfect. Adequate amenities in Aberdaron for essential provisions and eateries. Lovely fish and chips. A lovely place to stay, whether you are a couple like us, or family friendly for those with children and dogs.

I took my elderly parents and disabled son for a quiet holiday in this beautiful part of the world.

This holiday home was absolutely perfect and exceeded all expectations. The weather was fantastic for February with cold bright sunny days. The location is tucked out of the way- bordered by a babbling brook and surrounded by beautiful scenery. It's a quiet base to come home to after a day exploring and on the clear nights provided the rural darkness necessary to gaze at the stars. Hosts are fabulous-friendly but unobtrusive- they couldn't do enough for us. Thank you so much for the precious memories we've made.

IT was a lovely place and had plenty of room in the lodge and the owners where very good to.

This was a perfect family holiday.

The owners were very friendly and we had a very warm welcome. The lodge was amazing. We were really suprised at how big it was and the facilities were fabulous. When we arrived, it was spotless. So much more was offered than expected. It was faultless. We would definitely stay here again. It's in a beautiful spot with a large outside area for children and dogs to play. Night time was also great because it was a great spot for admiring the stars.

.this lodge is fantastic ..immaculate and the facilities are great. Lovely decked area to sit on and our dog enjoyed running round the gardens and dipping his paws in the stream at the bottom of the garden. The owners have a idyllic place here ..rural and peaceful yet near enough to explore all the lovely beaches and coastal walks . Would definitely recommend ..

Stunning location very near to Aberdaron but rural and quiet.

We really can't praise the cottage enough. Spotless,cosy,comfortable with everything we needed.Simon and Derek had even left welsh cakes, Prosecco ,milk,tea and coffee for us.Just about the comfiest beds we have ever slept in with lovely duvets and bedding. We were able to use our Netflix and Amazon accounts on the large telly. Simon and Derek are wonderful hosts and very friendly and helpful. Our 2 dogs loved the large decking and the well kept grounds with the babbling brook and mill ruins to explore. The raised decking area is open at one end but Derek has promised to put a gate there so the dogs are secure and we managed to block it off anyway.This area of Wales is stunning with it's beaches and countryside totally unspoiled. What more can I say I think you get the idea.Hurry up and book a break here it won't disappoint!!

Outstanding!

The lodge is amazing and the setting is out of this world. So beautiful, peaceful and tranquil. Our stay exceeded expectations and if we could have stayed on, we would. We loved our stay as did our two dogs. Derek and Simon are lovely. Fantastic hosts and go above and beyond to make sure their guests are happy. 10/10 from us

Really comfortable lodge with 3 good sizes bedrooms and a huge living area.

We had mixed weather but when possible we made use of the large decked area. The kitchen/dining area was an excellent space to prepare and eat meals, it was a well equipped kitchen. The only downside for us was the fact that the garden was insecure and so we were unable to just let our dogs out into the garden without them being on long leads. That said once they got used to it, it was a minor inconvenience. A great place for a nice quiet break.

We have stayed all over the Llyn Peninsula for the last 10 years and this I the nicest accommodation we have stayed in.

Everything about it is perfect Lodge 5* Grounds 5* Location 5* Hosts 10* If I could keep it a secret so that we can always get a booking, I would! We have already booked again for next year and that's something we never usually do..... Its that fabulous. Annie, Steve and Sydney

A very comfortable and excellently presented property in a quiet and fairly secluded location with only a few local cottages around, close to Aberdaron, and within easy reach of all the amazing beaches in the Llyn.

Our Hosts ensured that everything was available and a restful time is ensured, there is an abundance of walks and facilities in the Llyn as well as amazing locations close or within driving distance.

We really enjoyed our stay at Nant Y Felin Lodge.

It is in a beautiful setting just by Afon Cyllyfelin and has more than enough grounds for us to walk my puppies and is so peaceful. Inside the lodge is immaculate with everything we needed for our stay. The lodge is so well insulated that it was too warm to light the log burner. Although the weather wasn't good to us this year we did manage to sit out on the deck a couple of times. Derek and Simon are wonderful hosts and we are so happy they let our furbabies stay as so many cottages these days don't. We will definitely be staying here again and would recommend staying here. We have been staying in Aberdaron for over 17 years and this is the best place we have stayed.

Clean, warm & comfortable lodge furbished to a high standard.

Very comfy sofa & beds. The living room is a sun trap so on a sunny day, we recommend turning the radiators down. Simon & Derek are lovely hosts & we were warmly welcomed by them both, in addition to a much appreciated welcome of Prosecco, Welsh cakes & milk. Thank you. The lodge is surrounded by stunning views, peace & tranquility, with the only sounds being birdsong & sheep. Bliss. We didn’t venture far as we wanted to enjoy the peace that the lodge provided, being a much needed escape from our hectic lifestyles. Aberdaron is a lovely, quaint village & the locals are welcoming & friendly. Aberdaron beach located within the village is beautiful & mainly sandy. An absolutely fabulous lodge, very comfortable and spacious,couldn't find one single tiny fault.

The owner were very helpful when there was a issue with the water supply that couldn't be help, even gave us a bottle of vino as an apology,that was very much appreciated. Another property from Sykes that we intend to go back to , hopefully the weather will be as kind to us next time also.

The accommodation was excellent and owners very helpful and friendly.

The lodge was amazing.

Spotlessly clean and everything you need for a great stay. The facilities were great and we could have lived there quite happily. The garden was great for the dog with plenty of room for her to run around. We went to the beach every day and didn’t see a soul. The countryside around Aberdaron was beautiful and we especially liked Whistling Sands beach and Nefyn beach. We go away a few times every year and this was the best accommodation we have ever stayed at, Would thoroughly recommend and we will be back.

Well equipped, very well maintained property situated in a rural, tranquil location, yet within a relatively short distance of Aberdaron.

I will certainly consider revisiting this property.

The lodge is very clean and the beds are really comfortable the grounds are lovely it is a very nice place to stay, I liked the stroll by the stream it would make a lovely picnic area just as you go to the stream on the grassed area.

My dog was very happy there going walks by the stream and in it, but in the lodge she not used to tiled floors so found it difficult to walk on. I will definitely stay again. Tracey

Excellent accommodation - you couldn't ask for anything more, Lovely quiet location yet only 5mins by car or 20 minute walk into Aberdaron , a lovely Welsh seaside town.

Great centre for walking and we were very lucky with gorgeous weather all week. Owners very friendly and full of useful advice re where to visit. Highly Reccommended.

Besides all the comfort of the accomadation and all the nine places to walk and relax the night sky was amazing!

Excellent, really enjoyed exploring the outdoors with our dogs, which is why we chose the location.

Just surrounded by farmland and open fields, walking distance to Aberdaron and Porthor beaches, as well as a short drive to Abersoch, Pwllheli and Hells Mouth. We also went to Harlech and Caernarfon. Freshest of air, tranquility of location without being too far from civilisation, and we had the beaches to ourselves. Had great weather for most of the week for the time of year. The lodge had everything as we like to cook proper meals. The hosts Simon and Derek made us feel extremely welcome. We certainly hope to go back again soon and can thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting a bit of peace and quiet away from the rat race.

DO NOT be put off be the term lodge for this property, it is a fantastic place, loads of room and very well equipped, very peaceful but only 5 mins drive to Aberdaron.

The welcome and facilities here are 2nd to none.

The owners met us on arrival walked us around the property and we where to feel very welcome. The lodge is very spacious clean and modern. The land is well kept, ot was safe andsecluded for our dogs. We had a great holiday.

Excellent holiday home, with all the comforts and amenities you would wish for, 3 large bedrooms large kitchen and big lounge with 2 two seater couches and a 3 seater one.

Large decked area outside , two separate patio doors to get to the decking which has a large table and chairs with a Large sun umbrella. Outside the lawned areas are extensive, the owner Derek is very friendly and on hand for any information needed. Good stoned car parking area The Holiday home is a 5 minute drive away from Aberdaran, which is a beautiful small beach cove.Ha s good restaurants and Local shops selling local produce, plus there is free parking if you are in the National Trust, if not it ii is only £4 for the day. Also within easy reach of lots of other seaside resorts.

Nant Y Felin is a fantastic, comfortable, spacious lodge in a beautiful, peaceful setting.

On our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the owners who are fantastically friendly, welcoming and helpful. The lodge itself is fabulous- well equipped, spotless and beautifully presented. Derek, the owner, works tirelessly to keep the lovely grounds looking splendid, and it was a delight to chat with him- he is a fantastic host, who is passionate about providing the best service for his guests.(We thoroughly appreciated his efforts!) We were blessed with glorious weather for the whole week, allowing us to fully explore the many gorgeous, unspoilt beaches, coves and coastal paths. (Our Alaskan Malamute, Kosi, loved running, digging and paddling on the “dog-friendly” beaches!) The surrounding area is spectacular, with stunning views and picturesque walks. (We were thrilled to spot badgers on one of regular walks, and watched them on a couple of occasions whilst they foraged for slugs and snails, unhindered by our presence!) We would love to return in the future- there’s so much to explore, and Nant Y Felin lodge is the perfect base from which to do just that!

Beautiful lodge very well maintained ,had no complaints ,nice welcome pack very much appreciated ,only one very tiny thing to add no egg cups but can survive without them.
