We really enjoyed our stay but must say we left the lodge cleaner than we found it on arrival.

The lodge is perfectly secluded, very quiet fir a chilled out stay. Easy access by car to locations within the Llyn Peninsula and north Wales. Hell’s Mouth and Llanbedrog beaches are fantastic. We love Criccieth and Portmadog, and have visited on numerous occasions. We will book again for Orchard Lodge

Disappointed We booked the Orchard Lodge, for 4 adults and 2 children, for 1 week, having looked at the pictures on the website.

It states a maximum of 6 people, but we found that 4 would be most because of room. The website photo angles make it look more spacious than it is. The kitchen area is very small, and dish washer, small fridge, and freezer, which needs defrosting, the Microwave wouldn't heat anything and this was reported immediately to the local manager, We were told it would be replaced the day after, but this never happened, and on coming back from our day it the beach, we found a used, dirty, rusty microwave on the table top, and the existing one still in situ. After complaining about this, we were told it was only a temporary one, and that a new one would be delivered on the Tuesday. We also found many areas with cobwebs, and grime, especially the double bedroom bedside cabinets. Generally it could do with a deep clean. The location is within walking distance to the main beach, and Hells Mouth beach, and Abersoch itself. I didn't go away with family with the intention writing a mostly negative review, but this is our opinion. We did take pictures, but are unable to download them on this website.
