The location of the lodge was stunning and the views from the hot tub and patio area were some of the best we have experienced.

The outside space was great, and even though we had great sunny weather during our stay, the fact that the hot tub and seating area is under cover, it could be used in all weather conditions. The lodge had everything that we needed for our short stay, although we did require an iron, there wasn’t one within the lodge, however upon request an iron and ironing board was brought to us which was appreciated. We had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate booking this accommodation again.

We stayed in the Betsi lodge as a family of 3 and our dog.

We could not fault our stay, the lodge was immaculate as was the outdoor space including the decking area and hot tub. The facilities were enough to cook a few meals and there were some lovely pub options for eating out close by. The welcome pack offered plenty of ideas of things to do and days out, we visited a lovely farm and a lake nearby. I would highly recommend this to family and friends and look forward to booking again later on in the year.

Had a wonderful stay in the fantastic betsi Lodge, very comfortable with everything you need in the lodge, the outside area is amazing with the hot tub even if the weather isn't great, already on booking again, would highly recommend.

It was minimal but a perfect retreat and a great base to explore. Hot tub is a real bonus and especially looking out at the view. Would definitely stay again!

This is our 2nd stay in Betsi and it was even better then our first.

The owners are extremely receptive to constructive feedback to make the stay even more special as evidenced from what was new on our 2nd stay. We've already got trip 3 planned. Great place to stay. Comfortable, warm, clean with all the amenities you could ask for

It was like it was described the little snug is a perfect addition to the property the hot tub is fantastic love the lighting options outside I would imagine in summer the outside seating with the beer fridge would be another added bonus as well is the bbq excellent overall property will return in summer months

Just had a fabulous weekend in this lovely lodge.

The lodge is well equipped,Any negatives previously about lack of comfy chairs in the under cover decking and welcome pack have been listened to by the owners and put right. Outside space is amazing and comfortable even on a rainy evening. We had a slight problem with an electric light, this was fixed within an hour of reporting(amazing service). I would highly recommend this property as previously reported the view from the hot tub amazing.

Overall a lovely weekend and lovely place to stay.

Great place to stay.

Lovely and quiet. Place looked like new and the outside areas were really well maintained. Hot tub is a nice touch. Everybody loved the robot mower. Lots of space for easy parking. The grouse inn pub is about 4 mile walk or drive. The Leyland arms pub is about 2 mile walk or drive. All in all a great place to stay

This was our honeymoon after getting wed on the 13/9/2025!

I asked if they would decorate the place with balloons etc and they did and was not a bother to them! The place was lovely, clean and had everything you needed to relax and enjoy! The hot tub was amazing! The views to wake up to every morning was beautiful, the local towns to was lovely to although there isn’t much around it’s definitely what you make it and it was perfect for us to just take each other in and enjoy our time a newly married couple.

Fabulous accommodation, everything we needed.

Views stunning, enjoyed the hot tub every night after being out for most of the day. Good centre for seeing the area, only there for three nights but visited Llangollen, Conwy,Llandudno, Bala and Barmouth. Would definitely stay again.

We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay.

The cottage had everything you needed and the hot tub was great. Beautiful views. Will be back.

the view from lodge is special lodge is not suitable elderly or mobility prob shower s have no mats no grab rails no where to put shampoo etc in cubicles marress too soft no wardrobes we stayed 2weeks with 2 grandaughters it was hard work the kitchen is lovely sat nav doesnt take you straight to lodge

The property is in a stunning location and provides beautiful views, especially whilst relaxing in the hot tub.

The bedrooms are comfortable and we really liked the separate tv room. The property is finished to a high quality but was let down by a few issues. The biggest problem was the smell emanating from the main bathroom. We were using the ensuite as it was just my wife and I. But when we went to use the main bathroom partway through the week, the smell that hit us was significant. We thought it was a damp smell but it became obvious it was coming from the drains. I did contact someone on the Thursday and they said they would send a plumber to sort the problem once we had left. Other minor issues we had were a lack of what we thought would be standard equipment. Things like oven gloves and a tea towel weren’t provided. Also, other than a broom, there were no cleaning products. We ended up buying kitchen spray and cleaning cloths just so we could leave the place looking clean when we left. We would happily visit again if these minor issues were addressed as we loved the location and comfort it provided.

We absolutely loved our girls weekend away here.

The booking process was clear and simple. Owner was easy to contact if needed. The lodge itself was beautiful (we actually stayed in Lodge 2), very clean with everything we needed. Yes, the lounge area was a little small for 4 adults however, we spent most of our time in the hot tub anyway! Surroundings were just lovely, watching the lambs leap about so close while relaxing outdoors was just what we wanted. If I was to make any suggestion, it would have been great to have some additional seating on the decking, stools were okay but would have loved a soft seat to relax with a cuppa. Will definitely be recommending to others! Thanks for a great stay.

This is a lovely little cottage that was beautifully decorated and had most of the essentials we needed.

The hot tub was a real highlight, offering a relaxing experience with stunning views. However, there were a few downsides that affected our experience. Unfortunately, we couldn’t use the dishwasher as it hadn’t been cleaned and had an unpleasant smell, meaning we had to wash everything by hand. There was only a drop of washing-up liquid provided, so we had to purchase more along with bin bags and cleaning supplies, even though the website stated they would be included. Additionally, the pans weren’t clean when we arrived, so we had to wash them before use. Towards the end of our stay, we noticed a strong sewage smell coming from the main bathroom, which was quite unpleasant. Overall, the cottage has a lot of potential with its charm and lovely setting, but a bit more attention to cleanliness and stocking the basics would greatly improve the experience.

We had a lovely few nights.

.. on arrival its was very modern, clean, with all the essentials already in the cabin. (Cleaning products tea, coffee & suger) along with a little welcome baskest. The only things for us, we would have benefited from some storage for our clothes and a radio for the deking while in the tub.. but very minor .. we still had the best time and would definitely go back.

Beautiful, clean, well maintained property with stunning views. We booked this weekend break for my 50th birthday celebrations, we all thoroughly enjoyed it and had a lovely, relaxing time soaking in the hot tub whilst taking in the gorgeous snowy views. It was like a winter Wonderland! The owner was friendly, helpful and really did go the extra mile coming to pull our car out of the snow twice. We will definitely be returning soon.

Arrived a little later for checkin as unfortunately SatNav took us on a detor!

Once we had arrived, we were met by the cutest Lodge, Besti! Every room we went in we coo'd and ahhh'd over because each room was cute and perfect for it's use. The added touch of Christmas decorations was amazing, I did remember reading about possible decorations but a tree with lights, festive cushions, wreath and a centre piece was above our expectation. With us being a family of 4 we had 2 bedrooms with 1 ensuite and a 'family bathroom' both very similar in size. Again, small but perfectly formed, very modern and clean too! The living room had the tree and a corner sofa with a TV - perfect for Christmas movies! Both bedrooms were with double beds (unfortunately, my two aren't fans of sharing beds so they took it in turns to sleep on a sofa and one in the bed - they did talk about wishing it was bunk beds instead). The rooms had a small pole with coathangers for a wordrobe, again, cleverly designed due to the size of the lodge, with 2x bedside cabinets. The kitchen area was the centre of the lodge with a fully fitted kitchen, integrated appliances, a lovely oak dining table & a sofa! We managed to make a full Christmas dinner and had no issues, oven & hob really easy to use - dishwasher not marvellous (although we don't own a dishwasher so wasn't too sure if we had used it properly - potentially needs a deep clean as some of the glasses & plates still had water marks on them) it did not effect our stay so no big deal! Onto the hot tub....WOW! Perfect on an evening, with an outdoor fridge & table area. It was so lovely to sit & relax with a glass (plastic glasses due to the request of the owners guide) of prosecco watching the sheep and the hills. We were lucky in the fact there wasn't many guests on site so it really felt like we were alone and had the whole garden space (which was fenced off from the sheep but plenty of room to feel like open space) to ourselves. We did have an issue with the hot tub as it became abit smelly a few days in, so we attempted to empty the water and contact the guest services who were helpful and talk my husband through the process. Around the lodge, we saw sooo many sheep & pheasants. It was so picturesque, we all enjoyed the scenery & nature. Apart from the lodge, we were able to drive short distances to various National Parks for dog walks and searching for waterfalls. We visited ZipWorld which was a lovely afternoon out. We got home, unpacked and are looking at dates again for next year - definitely recommend. Thankyou for such a special Christmas.

Me and my partner came for a long weekend away and the only way to describe it is "absolutely perfect".

The Lodge is perfectly situated for full privacy, the views are amazing, the kitchen is fully equipped, the hottub is amazing and the whole place was spotlessly clean. 100% I will be coming back to this lodge, they couldn't make it any better if they tried. Thank you for a perfect weekend away

Beautiful lodge with a beautiful views you can enjoy while your putting your feet up in the hot tub.

The lodge was nice and cosy and gave you a nice homely feeling. Kitchen was well equipped. The place was nice and clean, could not of asked for a better weekend away. The place to be for a quick getaway

We stayed a week here and could easily have stayed another.

The lodges were pristine and the tranquil location made this a great family holiday. Peacefully remote but well placed for surrounding attractions. We will be back!

The property was beautiful and well maintained.

The views are incredible and it didnt go unnoticed that every aspect of the design and layout of the lodge was around getting the best of the views. The welcome basket of snacks was a lovely gesture and every detail was thought of from toilet roll and hand soup in every bathroom to dishwasher tablets, surface spray and and a selection of cloths in the kitchen. The fresh milk ready in the fridge along with supplied tea, coffee and sugar just added to the luxurious feel. The hot tub and outside breakfast bar and fridge are impressive. It was great to get there and the hot tub up to temperature and ready to go. We loved spending the time on there watching the sunsets and sunrise, the views and the sheep. The kitchen was fitted and provided with everything needed and the while lodge provided comfort and luxury Nit picking and personal preference even though there is the breakfast bar type set up outside as it is under the cover of the lodge porch it would be amazing to have a picnic table or something on the grass area close to the bbq so when its sunny you can sit in the sun as the sun doesn't really get onto the covered area. But that is personal preference as we like to sit in the sunshine (whens its actually out ) We absolutely loved our stay and have already spread the word and shared the link to the property to friends and family as well as decided a date when to book again for ourselves.

Very beautiful cabins and so well equipped. Beautiful views, very peaceful. Will be revisiting again.
