Gelert Pod

We had such a cosy and peaceful four days in the pod over Christmas.

Jo was very kind and left us some lovely treats. She also brought over extra wood for the logburner. The pod was spotless and very tastefully decorated. It was so Christmassy, thanks to the added decorations. We enjoyed the tranquility, the open countryside, and our neighbours, the bulls and sheep. The pod is isolated, but not far from the lovely towns of Saint Asaph, and Denbigh, and easily reached by car. We came away with beautiful memories ❤️ Thank you.

Lovely place, quiet and peaceful.

Plenty to see and do in the local area. Pod was clean and well maintained with everything we needed for a week's stay provided. Our Cockapoo really enjoyed the enclosed area of beautiful gardens surrounding the pod as did we. Just a perfect place and we left reluctantly but relaxed and refreshed. Thanks Jo.

We had a lovely 3 night stay here, wish it could have been longer, such a peaceful area.

First time in a pod, loved it. Cosy and compact with everything you might need. It’s quite remote, difficult if you’re expecting to eat out at local pubs. Turns out it was much nicer to pick up a ready meal or make something simple on the hob or microwave and enjoy just being in the pod and enjoy the peace. Thanks for the heads up about the swing chair with a view up the hill! Lovely.

Oh my gosh this place is the best!

Our first ever holiday with our little puppy (12 months old), so we were a bit nervous. But needn’t have worried! She had so much enclosed space to run and play, the pod has everything you need and is so well thought through and clean - the perfect size. The hosts Jo are wonderful and so helpful and friendly felt like a home from home. Plus added bonus we were able to use a very close totally empty enclosed field for her to run free in safely, whilst looking at the wonderful view. Can’t wait to come back again really soon! Also see a couple of reviews re finding it difficult to locate. We found it first time no problem, by using the written instructions provided and not relying on the Sat nav once you leave A55 at junction 29. In pod were following things (things I would typically bring with me, if helpful) bin bags, tea towels x2, washing up liquid, lots of books, dish scrubber, cleaning spray, fly spray, salt, pepper, hand soap, tea, coffee, sugar, pots, pans shampoo, shower gel, bed throw/blankets, blanket for outside use, a toilet roll, towels. And even a couple of delicious snacks. Thanks so much Jo, we will see you soon!!! X

We had a lovely stay here with our little dog, who loved the log burner!

We found the accommodation to be extremely well kept and maintained in a very peaceful location. We hope 100% to be able to stay here again. It was absolutely perfect for us.

Really enjoyed our stay despite the weather!

Thought it may be useful if you could provide a dustpan and brush as we were unable to brush up the crumbs in the kitchen area before we left. We will definitely be back.

Two adults and one large dog, we shared this wonderful pod for 4 nights. The setting is idyllic, tucked away in the Welsh countryside, with landscaped gardens that we could let our dog off in to play. There is a lookout station at the top of the garden with stunning views to the sea. We would definitely stay here again next time we're visiting north Wales.

Faultless, a superb property.

A very comfortable and cosy pod with everything you need.

The grounds around the pod are beautiful and the viewing decking area with bench was a lovely surprise. Fantasic views to the coast. My dog was free to roam around and he loved all the scents and space. Owner Jo was so nice and came to check everything was OK after I arrived. Location is quiet and rural, but close enough to the A55 so it's easy to get around Wales. 100% recommend a stay here.

Gelert Pod was a very peaceful place to take a break from the hustle and bustle the area was quiet and the dog loved the fact he could explore.

Kept well maintained with all instruction left how things worked. Maybe the only downside no oven but we did know this and easily worked round it. I would recommend if you are looking for some peace and quiet.

We absolutely loved our stay in the pod and will definitely be back.

Another great stay at the Panorama Gelert Pod.

It has everything you could need or want for a relaxing stay. Close enough to explore lots of North Wales if you want days out. Our dog enjoyed every minute, playing fetch up and down the hill, having a good old sniff around and then relaxing in the evening in front of the log burner. We will be again.

Absolutely amazing.

The owners are very quick to respond to enquiries and extremely lovely. Amazing place if you want a relaxing time and the big green space is perfect for the dog to run around and play fetch. We’ll definitely come back.

Everything needed was all available. The grounds were fantastic. Our little yorkie had the time of her life. The scenery was amazing. And lastly Jo, the owner was very very pleasant and totally committed to making sure our stay was perfect. Thank you Jo. See you again Gelert pod.

So comfortable and quiet. Special thanks to our hosts who kept in touch and couldn’t of done more for us, this was a special touch that made us feel that we weren’t just another holiday maker.

We had the most amazing stay here for the weekend with our dog.

The pod is absolutely stunning and immaculately clean. It's set In the most beautiful grounds with stunning views. Our host Jo was warm and welcoming and had provided us with a few treats upon arrival. The cozy fire was just perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable and myself and my partner had the best nights sleep. The pod has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. There are lawn games and hammocks which were fun and there is a beautiful spot with a bench for you to sit and enjoy the stunning sunsets and views. Our dog enjoyed the freedom to wander around and she didn't want to leave. Nor did we. We will definitely be booking again in the near future. Its the perfect place to relax and unwind.

We stayed in the Gelert Pod, it was perfect. It has everything you could wish for and much more. Our dog also loved it, lots of freedom to sniff and explore and the best thing was lots of space to play fetch, resulting in one very happy and very tired dog. The pods are situated in an ideal place to explore North Wales.

We had a fantastic weekend in the pod.

Jo and Sion have thought of everything, and we loved the added extras of Alexa and the smart tv channels. The pod has everything you need. We slept brilliantly and the reclining sofa was really comfortable, especially on a wet day with a glass of wine and the fire going! There is plenty to do nearby, with a choice of beaches within easy reach. The stunning views from the field behind the pod are also not to be missed. Thank you Jo & Sion for the lovely break!

Absolutely gorgeous!

! Cozy, immaculate and very comfortable. Pod was equipped with everything we needed for our stay with lovely touches everywhere. The small space was very well thought through through accommodating comfortable bed, extendable sofa, log burner and kitchen area..(the shower cabin could have been slightly bigger, being over 6ft tall, we both struggled a bit but it has not compromised our stay) Outside space was great for our dog to play safely. Great walks nearby and a short drive away. Jo was lovely and accommodating and nothing was a problem, we felt welcomed and well looked after!! Welcome pack on arrival as well as pod being set up with and pre-heated was much appreciated. We have had a great time and will definitely book again! Thank you Anna + Tom & Luna

Excellent stay , clean , comfy , homely.

Great stay quiet peaceful location. Hosts always at hand for information. Great base for Wales and Liverpool.

Absolutely fabulous stay!

Everything we needed in this perfect pod. Great location for exploring North Wales. Superbly clean and very comfortable, well equipt pod. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to sample the BBQ and outdoor dining area but we will look forward to booking again and hopefully we can laze in the hammock before firing up the bbq next time.

Such a special stay at the Gelert Pod!

The views and location were stunning and so close to the main roads to travel around Snowdonia. The pod itself was beautifully presented, extremely comfortable and our hosts had really thought about little touches to make our stay even more special. Would recommend these Pods to anyone; it really made our trip to North Wales a great one!

Jo and Sion were welcoming hosts who do all they can to make your stay enjoyable the only downside was the shower being smaller than we expected but it was still nice I would definitely return to this place

Great setting and perfect for the beaches and snodonia

We spent a lovely week in Galert Pod, which is in a beautiful location.

The ppof was clean and comfortable with everything that you could need during your stay. Our first time staying in North Wales, loads to do and will definitely return. Lovely hosts in Jo and Sion.

Had a lovely stay at Panorama Pods.

GELERT was more than we had hoped for. Very cosy and quiet. All the amenities we needed. Couldn't have asked for more. Travelled into Snowdonia daily to hike. Great location.

Accommodation a little on the small side but adequate. Only other issue ,no wardrobe space but were able to cope ok. Owners very friendly and nothing too much trouble for them. Would recommend .

Had a lovely welcome from Jo; beautiful surroundings, and a lovely cosy and comfy pod.

The pod had everything you need and more, so many lovely little touches that made all the difference. Returned home yesterday, and have already recommended to family and we hope to return again in the future too. I can not speak highly enough of this break away, had the best time!

There is eve thing catered for including Netflix, hammocks, outdoor games, board games and more. Would highly recommend and will be visiting again!

This was an amazing place!

Compact but they had thought of absolutely everything! Really hope to have another visit in the near future . Highly recommend if you want to get away from the rat race and just relax

What can I say the pod was of the highest quality with additional items supplied by the vendor, decor is very chic and the location is very easy to find and offers fantastic views with a great and relaxing surrounding, will definitely be booking again in the near future

Our holiday to the Gelert Pod was perfect.

The pod is clean, comfortable, has everything your could want and even things you didn't know you needed. We had such a lovely time that we only went out to explore the area a couple of times. We had our dog with us and she loved exploring and running around and then snuggling down in front of the fire in the evening.

The beautifully decorated pods are clearly a labour of love for the owners Jo and Sion who were also really friendly and helpful during our stay. They have everything you need from the basics like cooking equipment, towels etc to the not so basic like local guide maps, LED candles for romantic evening and nice thoughtful touches like leaving a torch hanging by the door for if you need to go out at night. They are also awesome for the modern traveller like me and my wife with USB ports for phone charging, WiFi, Amazon fire TV and even built in voice assistant (Fantastic for getting your favourite music playing for cooking and relaxing!). The views behind the pods are stunning and worth a wander out to with your morning coffee. The grounds are nice to wake up to and have hammocks which are lovely on a nice day. They are a little intimidating to get to first attempt (a small price to pay for having such a secluded retreat) but my advice is believe Google maps even when you start thinking "this can't be right"! A perfect holiday Pod!

Everything of high standard with so much thought clearly gone into equipping it out.. A very generous welcome pack that was much appreciated. The owners were very welcoming, I knew they were there if I needed anything but they didn't encroach. The garden was perfect for the dog and we enjoyed sitting out on the decking. A very cosy, comfortable place to stay. I will definitely be be back!
