Fabulous holiday cottage in a fabulous location.

The open plan living and dining area was a brilliant hub to relax in and enjoy each other’s company whilst cooking, eating or playing some of the board games provided. The local area has some stunning scenery, brilliant beaches and picturesque coastal walks to explore. The owners Claire and Keith were so lovely, and on hand when/if you needed anything. Highly recommended.

Fantastic place, ideally located for a peaceful break.

Clare & Keith are lovely hosts. Made to feel welcome from the beginning & throughout holiday. The lodge is lovely, modern & light but also homely. Immaculately clean with everything you could need. Can’t wait to return.

What an exceptional find at Porthwen Lodge!

Our hosts, Claire and Keith, were the most lovely and welcoming people you could wish to meet. The welcome pack was very much a surprise and appreciated. The Lodge is very much a home from home feel. Spotlessly clean and absolutely everything you need regarding equipment throughout is catered for. The view is stunning and it is so peaceful with night skies to die for. This will definitely not be our last visit but the first of many. I would just note that, I am loathe to write this review because now, you will all want to go book this wonderful place and it will be forever fully booked

We've just returned from a wonderfully relaxing stay at Porth Wen Lodge and we're already missing it.

The lodge is well furnished, beautifully decorated and had everything we could have needed. We really appreciated Claire's welcome pack and local knowledge. The views from the property are stunning - it's a gorgeous walk to the beach and the brickworks in one direction, and over to Bull Bay in the other. Fabulous holiday fir me and my husband, and our 2 boys.

I only have one criticism and that was that the brambles could be trimmed a bit on the driveway as they rubbed against the side of the car.

It was a lovely, clean and cosy lodge. The living area was so spacious and cosy. Highly recommend

Fantastic Lodge with everything you need, very clean, stylish and a much appreciated welcome groceries pack (milk, eggs, bread, butter, biscuits, scones).

Peaceful setting, amazing coastal position with sea views. One thing would enhance the Lodge's comfort is for the bunk beds to have memory foam toppers as the children could feel the springs in their mattresses which they found uncomfortable. This does not affect our high recommendation and we would love to return in the future.

A clean and very well equipped lodge in a fantastic position.

Good quality pans and ovenware which makes a very pleasant change. Will be back there soon.

Fantastic place for the 3 of us.

The views are perfect and luckily we dropped on the weather. Location suited us to explore.

We had the best holiday in this country,the place was amazing,the first place I’ve ever stayed in where I could just go in and put the kettle on without having to have a clean first !

! Claire and Keith were fabulous always on hand if needed anything and gave us some lovely ideas of where to visit. There was a welcome pack of food which was a lovely gesture. We had a Tesco delivery which was good. I felt so rested and chilled,the view from garden is beautiful. If you are looking at this property and wondering whether to book don’t hesitate just do it,u won’t regret it. Thanx for a fabulous time. Pete and Vanessa Ghent xx

Lovely lodge, very peaceful with gorgeous views

Porthwen Lodge is in a stunning location close to the coastal path so it is ideal for a walking break.

The lodge is fitted out to a high standard. In particular the kitchen is well equipped. Hosts Claire and Keith were pleasant and helpful not least they provided a taxi service one evening so we could enjoy a drink with our meal.

We literally had the best holiday and couldn’t have chosen a nicer place to stay - the lodge was impeccably clean and it was short of nothing, there was a lovely gesture of welcome items of the basics such as milk, bread etc.

The land and surrounding area was beautiful and there is walks galore and plenty of space to explore, the kids had so much space to run around and it’s got the nicest views. It was literally like home and already want to go back, the owners were amazing and super nice and very accommodating. 100% would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Fantastic property, exactly as advertised, if anything it was actually slightly better than pictured, has everything required, perfect quiet location, views to die for !
