The Chalet at Tyn Lon

“So relaxing – can’t wait to come back” Came for a solo escape and honestly didn’t want to leave.

The chalet has a really calm vibe with lovely countryside around it – had my morning coffee on the little seating area outside listening to birds. I walked to the coast from here on one of the days and then drove into Abersoch for a wander and something to eat. Great Wi-Fi, good parking, warm and comfortable. Just what I needed.

“Great base to explore the coast” We booked for a family break and it was spot-on.

The setting is quiet but only a short drive to the beach. We spent most of our time at Black Rock Sands and also visited Portmeirion which was brilliant. Our son loved seeing the steam trains on the Ffestiniog Railway too! The chalet was comfortable and had everything we needed to cook and relax in the evenings. Plenty of parking and we felt very safe. Would happily return.

Peaceful getaway with everything we needed” We stayed for a long weekend and absolutely loved it.

The chalet is in such a peaceful spot with lovely views across the fields – ideal for switching off. Parking was easy right outside, which was great after a long drive. We spent one day walking around Criccieth and had a gorgeous lunch by the castle, and another day exploring Pwllheli marina. The chalet itself was clean, cosy and well laid out. Perfect little base for exploring this part of Wales.

* *It was very smart and modern with plenty of space to spread out and being able to connect to our Netflix accounts made TV viewing easy.* *On our first day, we had a flat battery; we called the owners and they very kindly came out and gave us a jump start and as a bonus, advice on a few places to eat as well. This was very much appreciated.* *We had a relaxing few days exploring the local area and unwinding and would definitely come back*

Nice to come to the Criccieth area and the Lodge was nice and catered well for our needs.

It was good to have a footpath near the property so we could walk the dogs and get some fresh air. We liked the Lodge and it was just what we wanted, clean and tidy. We would definitely come again.

* *The chalet was the perfect first experience of this beautiful area.* *Everything that we needed was there and it was a comfortable and surprisingly spacious chalet.* *We asked the owner, Mr Evans if we could buy the chalet and he said no. He did suggest that we buy a caravan from his company, Evans Caravans and rent a pitch on their campsite at Ty’n Lon, which we did. * *We are now proud owners of a caravan and can’t wait until March when the campsite opens, and we can come back and stay.* *Can’t recommend it enough; very good service.*
