I highly recommend staying at the lodge.

The surrounding are beautiful, and very peaceful. The hosts, pam and Bob, are wonderful people very helpful, too. The lodge has a horse named Ellie and a donkey named Duncan. They will greet you as you approach the lodge

The lodge had everything we needed for our short break and we had a very peaceful and relaxing three days, mooching about the area.

The bed was super-comfy, and the decking area was great for sitting out with a coffee in the morning or with a drink in the evening. Both Pam and Bob were lovely hosts. Thank you so much.

Meols Holiday Lodge is a true hidden gem and this was our second visit.

It was immaculately clean on arrival and we settled in and relaxed immediately. Everything was provided to self-cater with a well equipped kitchen, fabulous welcome tray, fresh bread and milk. The open plan living room and kitchen is spacious and ideal for relaxing while watching the TV. The bedroom and en-suite were stylish and the bed itself incredibly comfortable, a great night’s sleep was had, aided by the dark and quiet. The bedroom and living room open onto a decking area and charming garden visited by a variety of birds and their activities were lovely to watch over a morning coffee. It was also a joy to watch Duncan, the donkey and Ellie, the horse going about their day in the Paddock. The owners have put a lot of thought into what their guests may require during their stay including a very informative local guide folder with coastal walks, local train maps and ideas for days out and places to eat. The owners are friendly, kind, thoughtful people who made us feel really welcome, nothing was too much trouble. We highly recommend this lodge and look forward to returning. Thank you so much Pam and Bob.
