Harbour Escape

A lovely spot.

Really a very comfortable and well equipped apartment. Its had everything we needed and was spotless. It is so lovely to walk through the front door and see that view. A perfect base from which to explore the beautiful area , with coastal walks from the doorstep. We had relatives arrange to stay in the next door apartment so there is an option there if you need a larger group. Highly recommend for a relaxing get away.

Bedside very comfortable however isolation switch for shower didn't work towel rail no instructions how to set it very poor instructions for hot water never seen a switch like it

The view onto the estuary is definitely 5star rating - fantastic!

On arrival at Harbour Escape the initial impression was good,  lounge/kitchen and bedroom were clean and attractive.

The  bathroom was far from good, the shower head kept dropping down, there was mould in the grout on the lower shower walls and on the anti-slip shower mat. The toilet seat kept dropping down making it hazardous to use and the towel rail didn't work. Apparently it was controlled by an ap on the owners phone but we had no contact details for them so we had a rather  chilly bathroom all week. There was no extractor fan to remove the steam adequately.  ⁰ It was not nice to use until you office opened on Monday. The service engineer came on Tuesday, fitted a new riser bar and shower head, cleaned off the mould and took away the shower mat.( We purchased a replacement mat ourselves) He was surprised that the towel rail could not be operated from the property. Only one of us could sit outside at any time as one of the two chairs had lit's back missing. Disappointing! Not recommended for anyone with mobility issues, there were several trip hazards in the flat and the car park was uneven and parking very restricted with no disability parking available. No instructions were left to tell us what to do with the bed linen. Never had problems like this with any previous properties we have rented through Sykes.

The apartment is well placed and its outlook is excellent.

The bed is very comfortable and there is ample wardrobe space. We had a very good holiday. A couple of slight niggles though. The socket incorporated in the oven mains switch is intermittent and needs attention - probably a loose connection- and the heated towel rail would not come on and I could not find instructions on its functionality.

A beautiful apartment, very comfortable and spotlessly clean.

Thank you for the milk and Welsh cakes. The location is perfect, short walk to shops and restaurants, lots to do in the area, and the most beautiful view from the patio. Hope to return.

This property was the perfect location with stunning views, parking and a 2 minute walk to the shops.

Basic but everything we needed it was spotlessly clean with the smell on fabric softener on the sheets and bleach in the toilet. Will definitely stay again. Thank you

The whole property could do with a general improvement the furniture is old and not very comfortable the bathroom shows signs of wear and needs improvement

Nice flat in a lovely location.

Perfect for a mini break. Nice touch providing milk and tea bag’s, much appreciated after a long drive.
