We had a wonderful stay in the shepherd's hut!

It was very clean, cozy, and surprisingly spacious, waking up to the quiet countryside views was amazing. It’s a great place to stay for a few days, the hut has everything you need in a lovely private location.

A great base for travelling around Anglesey. We will miss the peace and tranquility of this little gem and the calves coming to say hello. Hosts where wonderful.

Loved our stay.

Very comfortable. Great views from the lovely decking. Would have liked a dustpan and brush as we had two dogs with us that brought a lot of the beach back but we managed. Great place to spend a week.

The only difference from the listing was fewer steps and a wide, lovely deck so an improvement.

Gorgeous cabin/hut and would use again. Beautiful views. Enclosed garden (for dog) which was super - all except traditional gate with wide 'bars' so not so small dog proof - luckily mine was well behaved but was considering going for a play with the farm dog one evening! Excellent accommodation, well thought out, with the hot plate and air fryer available if needed, but not cluttering the space, and a SUPER shower. Very warm in hot weather (I got very lucky with a heat wave), so a fan would be a useful addition - I took my own, which worked fine - very happy with all aspects.

Just returned from a week long stay at Cwt Y Rhos and I personally can’t fault it.

Immaculately presented, well laid out with everything you need and a great location at the corner of the field out of the way. I would happily recommend this to anyone and will return for another visit myself. Simon and Riva Dog.

A great location from which to explore the many beautiful beaches in Anglesey. I loved watching the little baby cows playing in the field in the evenings!

Although within easy reach of services and of fantastic historic sights and views. The owner’s communication before, as and during your stay were 5 stars too. I look forward to a return stay, to capture more stunning sunsets. Thank you.

Wonderful place for a relaxing holiday.

we had a fantastic four night stay at cwt y rhos.On arrival the place was spotless and very well laid out,we had a lovely surprise in how big inside it was,also the new decking area outside was great to sit and watch the sunset by Holyhead mountain.The hut is very warm, comfortable and cosy,the bed is great for a peaceful night's sleep.The kitchen has everything we needed to prepare meals for what we wanted.Very good shower in the surprisingly large bathroom, Eleri has done a fantastic job of setting out the decor of the hut.We enjoined our stay and so did our dog. The hut was so warm we never lit the log burner, very quiet and peaceful even though it is on a farm, brilliant,thank you so much Eleri for your hospitality really looking forward to returning very soon.

It was so welcoming and the attention to detail is wonderful. We had a great time in Anglesey and really enjoyed having the hut as a base for our travels. Bonus for the calves we saw this morning on the way out!

We really enjoyed our break the hut was brilliant would recommend for quite relaxing break for a couple and eleri was so helpful when we got lost on the way lol

Lovely accommodation in excellent condition.

Peaceful location with easy access to the main road to get out and about around Anglesey. Followed the owner's directions for an easier route to the accommodation.

I had a wonderful stay at the shepherds hut, it was so relaxing and peaceful.

The hut is well equipped with everything needed, it was also immaculately clean. The host messaged me prior to arriving with clear directions which were very helpful. Lots of places to visit and spend the day. I would definitely like to book again.

We absolutely loved Cwt Y Rhos!

There was everything we needed for a lovely three night break, we really couldn’t have asked for more as we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. The weather was perfect, the facilities excellent and we loved watching the antics of the calves in the field.

Cannot recommend this place enough.

Beautiful hut, surprisingly spacious, beautifully decorated and a wonderful location. I have been travelling for three months and this place had the most comfortable bed and pillows I have ever slept on - which was great for the rainy days. The kitchenette was really well kitted out, huge sink and drying rack, air fryer (I’ve never used one before but it was super easy to work out), hob and all the utensils you could need - plus the condiments in the fridge were a very thoughtful addition and great on my morning sausages sandwiches. The directions, for how to get there, given by the host was really easy to follow (What3Words will always be my favourite navigational tool as someone who can’t usually find their socks on their feet). Overall great stay in a wonderful hut.

I had a wonderful 4-night stay in the shepherd's hut over New Year.

The location was peaceful and quiet, with no noise from the nearby farm, making it the perfect retreat. The hut was easily accessible and exceeded expectations in every way. The hosts went the extra mile with the amenities—everything we could possibly need was thoughtfully provided. Despite visiting in the middle of winter, the hut was cozy and warm, even without lighting the fire. A truly lovely experience; I highly recommend it!

Beautiful, quiet and tranquil place from which to explore the many wonders of Ynys Mon . Loved it.

Didnt stay even for one night We found that the steps leading to the hut were totally unsuitable for a greyhound.

Ours cut her rear leg the first time she tried to go up the steps So we were afraid that she could break her leg trying to negotiate the steps we decided to loose our money than risk injury to our dog I also struggled to get up the steps as I suffer from arthritis in my knees Maybe the owners could consider having a ramp on the one side Also cooking facilities are very limited

Great time in a very special place.

The only thing I would suggest, is to advise there is no cooker in the hut, it was rather unexpected, and my husband is a chef, and does not really like gadgets, but we did manage okay with the air fryer, and then he fried the steaks and chops etc, it was too chilly to use the bq, but we prefer to cook indoors anyway.

Apart from that it was 100% and we really Loved the beautiful Shepherds Hut, it was perfect.

What a wonderful stay in a lovely hut, so many thoughtful touches, and what glorious sunsets!

This little hit was perfect.

The location was stunning. The cows at the top of the lane were the sweetest. Darren and Nel were very kind and Eleri was super helpful with getting to the location and answering my questions. The set up was amazing. The bed was so comfortable. We’re hoping to go back later in the year to enjoy it when it’s warmer. Honestly the most perfect mini break. Mine and my partners first break as a couple. And the dogs loved it too!

We had a wonderful time in the shepherds hut with our Cocker spaniel.

It was big enough to have her bedtime crate in there, with lots of room still. Once we'd worked out the cooking equipment it was fine and the fire made it so warm. The whole place was so cosy and decorated lovely. Great place to unwind and will definitely be back for another stay and recommend. It might be nice to have some walking routes from the hut. We did some lovely walks away though at North/South stack and Red Wharf bay circular walk. The coastal path takes in some great places and the National trust house at Plas Newydd is worth it. Most places are ok with dogs to some extent so a great area to go

Everything was lovely, immaculately clean, careful attention to detail and all we needed. We had complete privacy with total peace and quiet. So nice to be able to take our two dogs, handy for beautiful beaches and yet set in stunning countryside. A wonderful weekend and we are looking forward to our return.

The hut was a great place for a weekend getaway, location ideal for travel around Anglesey and for enjoying peace and quiet in the countryside.

The owners provided everything we could have needed and made the stay very enjoyable.

The Shepherds Hut was tastefully furnished with lots of thoughtful touches, and was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfy and the shower was nice and powerful and hot. The Hut itself was in a quiet, secluded, sunny spot with lovely views. The wine, crisps and dog treats and bowls were a nice touch, and the dogs loved their holiday too!

This was our first stay in a Shepherd's Hut.

We could not have asked for anything better. The lady owner was really lovely and always on hand should you need her help. The hut was stunning, spotless and has everything you will need. In a beautiful location along a track from the owners property. We loved it and we are so pleased we found this beautiful Shepherd's Hut. Did not want to come home.

We would whole-heartly recommend this Shepherd's Hut to any couple looking for a secret hideaway. Well resourced and equipped for any holiday-Maker.

This was a great place to get away from it all.

Nice private location and clean and comfortable. A good base for exploring the local sandy beaches and coastal walks. Great for dogs too - welcome treats and lots of dog friendly cafes in the area. Thank you.

The cottage was beautiful and clean, cosy and spacious, with everything one might need provided for us.

Excellent communication with owner and left us alone to do our own thing. Situated in a peacefully quiet and great location. Only 15 minutes drive from Holy Island, lots of beautiful beaches, plenty of choice for restaurants, bars and supermarkets. We have only one suggestion. Maybe blackout curtains instead of blinds. Overall we had a great time and will definitely recommend

It was a perfect for a base for cycling, exploring the many fascinating ancient sites and the wildlife of the island - lots of very quiet lanes and some lovely quiet beaches very close by.

This accommodation is great.

We were really comfortable in a quiet and peaceful location. The place is fully equipped and it was easy to prepare food using the kitchen arrangement. We will definitely go back again!

Had a wonderful relaxing holiday.

Owners of the property were so thoughtful leaving wine and nibbles for us and treats and blankets for the dogs. Owners were not intrusive but there if needed thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Best night sleep for years bed and pillows so comfortable it was obvious Owners had paid so much attention to detail can not identify one single problem. Absolutely amazing. Wish I could live there.

The property was spotlessly clean, comfortable and was equipped for our needs.

There was even dog bowels and a rug for our 2 dogs. We were greeted with a bottle of wine, crisps and dog treats. I would not hesitate to recommend this property and have already recommended it to my neighbour. We were also located by a lovely beach called Church Bay.

Couldn’t recommend anymore!
