Fantastic and magical.

Beautifully decorated and kitted out with quality furnishings and equipment. Private and enclosed grounds, super hot tub and sauna, gazebo and log fire pit. Wonderful hosts available if needed. The most amazing welcome pack and fresh flowers to greet us. Both us and our two little dogs enjoyed this fabulous accommodation.

Everything was just as described a perfect getaway for Greg myself and our two whippets.

We loved the quirkiness of Applejacks and appreciated the thoughtful welcome pack, with human and doggy treats. we made full use of the bbq area and firepit. Diane and Jonny were thoughtful hosts.

On arrival the grass wasn't cut!

The light in the bathroom was on a sensor, for why I don't know, so when you we're in the bathroom it would just turn off randomly, not ideal. The hot tub just stank of chlorine every time you opened the lid, I got a skin reaction, we had to shower every time we used it because of the smell of chlorine, obviously the pH wasn't right. On the listing we we lead to believe there was a microwave combi, but no it was an air fryer, and when you have never used one before it was an ordeal, the instruction manual left wasn't even for that model

WOW WOW WOW - what an amazing place to stay.

The pictures on the website don't do it justice, as there is so much attention to detail in this property. It is simply stunning. A lovely surprise of a welcome hamper also; we were made up. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't so pleasant for us and it rained for most of our time there. However, we had a spectacular lightning storm one evening. We snuggled up on the sofa inside the property and watched it through the huge skylight. It was amazing to watch and felt magical in such a beautiful property. The only improvement I would suggest is mentioning the drive gates and the best way to open them in the welcome or pre-arrival email. We arrived with a wide car and struggled to get into the grounds. However, the information book inside the property explains the best way to open the gates to allow maximum room. Once we knew this, we had no problem, but it would be helpful to know beforehand.

Applejacks Orchard I would highly recommend.

The accommodation was fabulously magical. Filled with colourful stylish touches of decor. It was equipped with everything you needed, for cooking inside and outside with the bbq, and pizza oven . Then to rest under the pergola after being in the hot tub, sauna or ice bath. The garden was, enclosed and large enough for my to energetic border collies who loved jumping up pinching the pears off the tree in the garden. Certainly this property deserves a gold award

... We were blown away!!!! I can't express the immersive experience on our senses. The Hansel & Gretel house & welcome treats filling the fridge were unexpected but well received. Our beautiful beloved Border Collie Bryn was able to run free and totally secure. Phenomenal weather helped as did massive Hot tub, Sauna, pizza oven & Barbecue. Out door loungers, undercover suite and Bistro seating. Cheeky little Robin too. We are booking our return. Nothing was too much troublefor D&J. A fairytale magical experience. Such a Unique stay. Nothing disturbed our weeks stay 10/10 Marcia,Gareth & Bryn Lewis.

Thoroughly enjoyed our week at Applejacks orchard.

It was like a fairy grotto mixed with a Hobbit hole, truly magical. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch, including a treat for our dog.

Everything was just perfect. Inside was beautifully decorated, very clean and really comfortable. We spent most of our time in the garden as we were lucky to have great weather. We made full use of the hot tub, sauna and lovely seating area. Plenty of space for our dog too who also had a great time!

Absolutely loved staying at applejacks, clean and tidy on arrival, facilities were great, garden seating area, hot tub and sauna used everyday, inside accommodation was amazing so good inside with everything you needed, if I weren't 4 nd half hrs away I'd being going back 2 or 3 times a Yr!

Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel treated and welcome. Everything was extremely well explained for check in and out. We will definitely be looking to book again, even for family members.

The perfect safe and relaxing space for us and our dogs!

The accommodation was lovely and had everything we needed with a lovey hamper of essentials for us and the dogs. All the facilities you could ever need in the kitchenette, outdoor bbq and chill out zone. The hot tub and Infra red sauna were lovely too ;) The fully enclosed yard was PERFECT and totally private. Thank you Diane and Johnny.

My husband and I stayed in April, with our 2 dogs (A Cockerwotsit called Buzzle and a GSD called Zanti) We felt a little cheated as we had only booked the 4 nights, in hindsight a week would have been so much better!

It was perfect for us and our dogs. We arrived with full intentions of visiting here and going there...in truth we didn't even walk the dogs! We parked up and enjoyed every bit of this very well thought out little gem... As did our dogs! It was marvellous to be able to take them with us. We had wonderful weather and us and the dogs spent hours and hours outside (we used the considerable grassed area as a huge 'snuffle mat' and threw small treats across it that they spent hours foraging for :) ) Our dogs are so very important to us and so to be able to take them with us was amazing. On to the property itself! Just wow :) I have taken home so much inspiration from the way this is decorated inside and out and how cosy and whimsical the whole effect makes you feel. but it's not just the décor, all the personal touches and the facilities really impressed us both. There was a gorgeous vase of fresh flowers, along with a big box of scrummy choccies, milk and a lot more basics than you would ever expect. We can't recommend this enough to couples, especially those with dogs! You need to take throws to go over their furniture as it is all so beautifully done. We took the dog's beds too. Everything you need for a really nice few days of total chill is here, from the hot tub to the sauna and the lovely pagoda with fire pit to relaxing in the kitchen/butterfly room. Thank you for a few days of bliss away from the daily grind. We will be back :)

Attention to detail really impressive, felt like being in a story book. Our Jacks settled really well as no guarding required all enclosed and secure.Great location to explore, needed more time, a week wasnt long enough. The hot tub was so lovely after a day out. Myself and my partner stayed here with our large puppy.

. WOW, WOW WOW. We had an amazing week . The place is magical and with all the extra touches of a 5 star hotel and spa. The garden was amazing for our puppy who enjoyed every minute of his first holiday . It was quite cold outside but lovely warm and cosy inside. We were gifted a voucher for 2 free meals from the hosts chippy, again WOW the food was genuinely some of the best fish and chips we have ever tasted . Blu even received a free sausage and lots of cuddles. We highly recommend Applejacks and will most definitely be back. The host are genuinely lovely people who cannot do enough for you. Myself,Jazz and Blu will definitely be booking again

Wow what an amazing, beautiful and different accommodation Applejacks is.

I specifically booked this for me, my wife and the dogs because it looked very different and quirky and seeing it in the flesh did not disappoint. We stayed for a week in late January early February which we knew would be sketchy weather which does not deter us from having a good time. Upon entering the property which has its own private garden which is ample and secured for the dogs to enjoy without the worry of them escaping. The lovely touches and attention to detail is what makes Applejacks and enjoyable lodge. The fairy lights and butterfly and Ivy decorations make it feel like you are walking into a Woodland fairy hobbit like hideaway. It is basically two large octagon shaped rooms connected by a central walkway. To the left of the walkway and entrance is the large bedroom which is very snug and comfortable with plenty of space with a large comfortable bed. It is also decorated with lovely touches. To the right of the main entrance is the main living area and kitchen which is well designed with everything one needs. I like the fact that it was well thought out with many additional plug points. In the middle directly in front of the main entrance is the bathroom and a toilet. Being a very OCD person I liked the fact that it was decorated and finished to a high standard. There were plenty radiators or heaters to keep the place nice and snuggly warm. Having the outside area for a fire and relax is a great idea and perfect for us. Also having the hot tub and sauna for relaxing and after long walks, it’s an absolute dream. Talacre Beech is about a 10 to 15 minute drive away. Snowdon is about 1 hour away. Port Meirieon is about 75 mins away. Having the very well stocked garage literally next door is also a massive bonus for just about anything you forget or run out of. All in all we absolutely LOVED our little holiday at Applejacks. And would highly recommend it for anyone who doesn’t just want to book a Bog standard lodge and they want something a bit different but that absolutely does not disappoint. The owners are lovely and very helpful and did not mind us messaging them for a little bit of advice or help during our stay. 10 out of 10

What an amazing quirky cottage, we loved every minute of our stay.

The owners have decorated it beautifully it was so snug & comfy, they also left us some lovely treats which were so nice. It’s a perfect getaway from every day life & just switch off & not too far from amenities. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Applejacks was perfect for us!

We have a German Shepherd who needs a big garden to play in and sniff around, having an enclosed space gave him exactly that, while giving us the privacy we wanted too! The location was great to access everything North Wales has to offer, only an hours drive from lots of great walks. We managed to find long walks every day we were here offering lots of amazing views. Hot tub and sauna were exactly what was needed after our walks and allowed us to really wind down. The fire pit and pizza oven are great extras too, very unique. Hosts are fantastic, we will be back, thank you so much for a great stay!

What a wonderful place to take a mini break!

Highly recommended for anyone wishing to switch off and relax. Fantastic accommodation and facilities, we couldn’t fault a thing! We will definitely be back next year! Thank you!

Lovely quaint little place!

Lovely hosts who left lots of goodies for us in the fridge! Really felt at home. Stamford Gate pub near by, where staff were super friendly, and made us and the dog really welcome. Delicious food too!

A lovely, quirky property that we will not forget.

We stay at lodges often and, while lovely, they all blend into one. This one is very unique. The extra touches such as milk/wine/water/juice/cola, even cake!!! in the fridge were an unexpected bonus. Not having to bring, soap, washing up liquid etc was really helpful. This property also has the advantage of a completely secure garden for your four-legged friend. We enjoyed the hot tub and the sauna as well as lovely walks in the local area and at nearby beaches. It was great that the property was within walking distance of places to visit and in particular to eat at (recommend Stamford Gate!), as often getting anywhere from a lodge requires you to drive. Hosts were very pleasant and helpful (especially when we couldn't get back in as we had unknowingly got the gate lock upside down!)

We spent a long weekend (3 nights end of August) at Applejacks Orchard with our English Bulldog.

We were looking for somewhere with an enclosed garden for the dog and hot tub for us and Applejacks did not disappoint. The accommodation is lovely, quirky, comfortable with good facilities. We always look for a hot tub and bbq, but the sauna and pizza oven was an added bonus. Eventually though the weather was changeable whilst we were there, this did not spoil the break as the hot tub and outside seating is covered, the inside has good heating and an air conditioning unit we ended up using both! (that’s the UK weather for you). The hosts Diane and Jonny were amazing, helpful and responsive to anything we needed, and the welcome goodies were a lovely surprise too! Our fur baby doesn’t always settle in new places, but he was very chilled here and loved the fully enclosed garden. We will definitely be going back again!

Great little cabin.

Hosts thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. We are big sauna fans so having a sauna and a hot tub is always a winner with us. Loved how outdoor seating area, barbecue and hot tub were all under cover. The garden is big and enclosed. The tiny lodge itself is relatively small but feels big when you are inside. The location was perfect being next to major roads and a convenience store next door was exactly that, convenient. Really enjoyed my week there.

If you are looking for somewhere special to unwind or go chasing waterfalls (Nant Mill Woods & Dyserth) then this is the place!. Everything you need to make your stay comfortable is catered for.

Applejacks was exactly as advertised, everything you would require was available, outside was a great secure garden with fabulous amenities, including sauna, hot tub, bbq, pizza oven & comfortable outside furniture, all of which were high end.

Owner Diane was extremely nice and very informative.

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay, would definitely come back!

It feels like you're staying somewhere magical, a perfect place to celebrate mam's birthday:) In the fridge when we got there was complimentary wine, cake, drinks and biscuits which I did not expect at all but was very grateful to receive. Hot tub was a must when we were deciding on accommodation, the fire pit was perfect to have an evening buffet outside and as mentioned earlier the place itself is gorgeous. Looks sold me immediately as all other glamping pods were the same- brown, small and not as many facilities. We didn't use the sauna, bbq or pizza oven but the fact they're available is amazing and even better that the area is fenced off for privacy and on site parking. When relaxing on the evening after the hot tub simply sign into your Netflix account (if you have one) and enjoy.

Loved every minute of our stay, wish we'd stayed for a week.

Lovely clean and very comfortable inside . The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Hot tub was great, the outdoor seating area was perfect, nice and cool on one of the hottest days of the year. The garden was perfect size for the dog to wander around and chase his big ball all over the place. Garage next door came in very handy for food and drinks also

Great week in magical very comfortable place which is well equipped with everything you need even local info on town & map with excellent dog walks suggested.

The dogs loved the enclosed garden and the hot tub was much needed after long walks.great location for exploring the coastline and nearby towns, most within 20/30min drive away. Holywell within walking distance and plenty of parking in supermarkets car parks(Tesco/Lidl). Owners very friendly and helpful and live close by if any issues. We had none but they gave us good information which helped us plan our week. Highly recommended just take care going in and out as entrance a little tight depending on size of car.(we had SUV)

Wow what a special magical place Apple’s is!

From the moment we saw the advert online we knew we had found somewhere unique and beautiful and had to book to stay!! We were blown away as soon as we pulled up to Apple’s, it was simply stunning with its gorgeous quirky styling and twinkling lights we just knew we would be staying in a magical place this week. Our pup immediately loved the spacious secure garden and we were so pleased with the lovely multiple seating areas with log burner, the sun loungers, fab hot tub and sauna area and bbq and couldn’t wait to unpack and get stuck in! When we unlocked the door we were blown away again by how truly magical it was inside so spacious but yet cozy, the decor was beautiful quirky and the furnishing and finishes were just gorgeous. The attention to detail was everything from the welcome gifts and little special touches for us and our fur baby, to all the little home from home comforts and more that you need, which were so considered and thoughtful. We felt very welcomed and relaxed and just loved our stay at Apple’s and can’t wait to go back again. It is a very special magical place for a lovely relaxing staycation, in a really beautiful part of the North Wales Coastline with many stunning places of interest within short car rides and with Snowdonia being a little under an hour away to and Loggerheads Country Park around 20-30 mins away, both worth a visit and many more lovely places around closeby. Thank you to such wonderful hosts Diane and Jonny for providing us with such a wonderful magical stay at Applejacks. Highly reccomend to anyone and we can’t wait to come back again soon x

This property is spectacular, we had the best stay for 5 days at Apple jacks orchard, we took both of our doggies and they absolutely loved it the garden area is huge they loved running around and the best thing is that they can't get out all fenced off so you can relax in the hot tub.

The facilities are outstanding, the hot tub is so big and the temperature is brilliant we loved getting in the hot tub after long walks with the dogs, the garden furniture is lovely and comfy we had tea outside it's all under cover with a cosy fire pit and the owners provided the fire wood which was fantastic, we also had 2 barbecues the gas was also provided AMAZING HOSTS. We absolutely loved the sauna another perfect touch to your holiday my skin felt amazing when we left the owners also provided fluffy ropes so compy, we didn't want to leave most days as this is perfect for relaxing it just has everything you need

This is a beautiful property,it was clean had lots of thoughtful extras lovely outside area .

However I think anyone booking it needs to know it is next to a very busy road 24/7 and the garage also has a storage business ?next door and that also is very noisy . It's such a shame.

Wow, what a magical place!

We stayed in January when it had snowed, which added to the wonder. When we arrived the snow had been perfectly cleared for us from the driveway and paths which was such a lovely thought. The hosts really think ahead, they had pre warmed it for us and left us extra heaters given the weather, and also some lovely drinkable and edible treats, for the doggys too

The property was beautiful, very secure and perfect for a short break away.

Diane message the day after we had arrived to check that we had settled in OK and that she was there if we needed anything, which I thought was nice.

Absolutely fantastic place and hosts, everything you need is there, you could literally write an essay on how beautiful applejack's is and how wonderful Diane and John the owners are but I won't.

Everything was perfect and spotlessly clean. We had little welcome note and package on arrival and lots of essentials.Great information pack with places to eat,walk etc.We had everything we needed.The hot tub was perfect and our dog absolutely loved the spacious secure garden to run around.The place is beautifully decorated and furnished.We had a lovely stay and would love to return and would definitely recommend this lovely place.

We stayed in this beautiful cabin for 3 nights in August.

The host Diane was fantastic and the accommodation was out of this world. Both the inside and outside area's are spectacular, Diane and her husband have catered for your every need. On arrival we were greeted with a handwritten card welcoming us to the cabin and inside the fridge was some delicious goodies, including a bottle of wine and a few treats for our dog. We made full use of all the facilities which included the barbecue area and the relaxing hot tub. The decor was beautiful and you can clearly see that this a labour of love for Diane, the whole area, both inside and outside, was immaculate and spotless. Would we stay here again? Absolutely!!

There is no other word to describe this place other than magical.

Both the inside and outside was so beautiful. Diane and Jonny were amazing hosts who went the extra mile for ourselves and our dog. The welcome gifts were so thoughtful, and they even dropped off a cooling mat for our dog one morning as the weather was hot. The property is very private, and fully enclosed, we felt like we were in our own little world - we almost didn't want to go out each day!! We will miss Applejacks very much and would love to return in the future. Thank you for giving us a fantastic holiday!

This place is absolutely magical.

It’s big wow moment when you go through the gates it’s absolutely stunning. The garden is completely private you close the gates and your in your own little bubble. Inside the cabin is absolutely gorgeous with everything you could ever need. The people that own it are really lovely couple. If you are looking for top class property this is definitely the one to go for you. We will definitely be back.

Although I think problem with not having a TV ariel has probably been resolved as discussed with the owner during our stay being footy season now would be invaluable!

Everything seems to have been thought of except the lack of a toilet brush in the bathroom. The accommodation is beautiful

My wife and our small dog had a great week staying at Apple Jacks Orchard.

As soon as we arrived and saw the lodge it just looked amazing and so inviting. The decor and arrangement of the rooms were beautiful thought out and everything you need for a very comfortable stay not to mention the treats that were left for us and our dog by the very generous hosts. We loved the outside area, and having a hot tub was a great addition! We would recommend going to the Stamford Gate just a few mins walk away for good food and it takes dogs! Apple Jacks is a very unique place and would very much recommend it!

Our stay at Apple jack Orchard was a much needed break for myself especially as I run my own dog grooming salon and care for my mum who has dementia and my dad both in their 80s.

We needed somewhere in Wales that wouldn't be far away incase of an emergency. To arrive at this property was just amazing the thought you have put into the design was so fairy tale. The fridge was full of essentials what a lovely surprise and very useful. Even our dog was left a bone. Everything was spotlessly clean. Their was even savlon, nail kit, razors, and ladies sanitary items in the bathroom. We celebrated my husbands birthday here and he was in his element being able to have a bbq and use the hot tub. There was also a 24hour petrol station next door perfect for shopping in. Talacre beach was just a short drive away and there were plenty of pubs locally. We had an amazing little break thank you Dianne and Jonny xx

What a fantastic holiday.

Me, my partner and doggy had the most relaxing holiday in this beautiful home away from home. It was so clean and inviting. The decor could be admired for hours and feels like somthing out of a fairytale. The atmosphere the hosts have created are one of tranquility, romance and relaxation. Everything you would need for a getaway was provided. The fridge had a few essentials upon arrival such as milk and bottled water but also luxuries such as wine and crumpets. We felt very welcomed and taken care of. The owners assured us that they only lived a walk away and if we needed anything to not hesitate on contacting them, we felt very comfortable to contact them if there was any issues. The large enclosed garden was secure and safe, which made having a dog on holiday feel much easier. There were doggy poo bags provided as well as some treats for little nova. The hosts also suggested a fantastic dog walk and made the stay feel really personalised. We feel everything was thought about to make the holiday just that bit more easier for ourselfs. The fantastic use of cooking facilities ment that we could cook some home comforts and save on money from eating out every day. The times we did eat out was from there recommendation found in the welcome pack and these top picks did not disappoint. . We would highly recommend this place and would be happy to return again.
