Such a lovely getaway!

Thoroughly impressed with the accommodation and facilities, perfectly clean and excellently maintained. Lots of nice finishing touches. A lovely personalised welcome which was much appreciated. Claire was friendly and helpful and on hand if we needed anything, which we didn’t, but she gave us lots of advice for walks and places to drink and eat, which were all bob on! Will definitely return, thank you.

The Nest was beautiful accommodation with perfect attention to detail.

It is a very relaxing environment with a lovely seating area both inside and out. The sauna is also a lovely addition. The surrounding area was lovely with some fantastic scenic walks and close proximity to amenities and the beach. This is also a good location if you are hoping to visit Snowdon. Claire was the perfect host and recommended great walks and places to eat. She also gave great advice about where to view the eclipse.

An absolute gem of a find!

We stayed for three nights to celebrate our anniversary, and the warm welcome from Claire set the tone for the entire trip. Finding a happy anniversary balloon, fresh flowers, and a bottle of bubbles waiting for us was such a thoughtful touch that truly went above and beyond. The property was spotless upon arrival, but the standout feature for us was the sauna—complete with essential oils, which was such a luxurious extra. It’s those little details that make this place special compared to other places we’ve stayed. The nearby golf course kept my husband happy while I relaxed outside with a book, and the location is super convenient with a short 15-minute walk into Prestatyn. We also had a great day out in Llandudno. Truly a hidden gem—we can't wait to return!

We had an amazing stay at The Nest.

The property is immaculate. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The tempur mattress ensured we had the best night's sleep. Garden furniture for sitting out in the sun was a bonus. Claire had left lots of information about the area, instructions if needed etc inside, which was very useful. The Nest is very close to lots of local walks, and only a 15min walk into the town centre where there are many shops,restaurants etc. We left our car in the secure parking area all week and went walking. We will definately be back to the Nest, it was a well needed break from our busy work schedules. Thankyou Claire, great host, all your help and information is much appreciated.

It was nice to be met by Claire, who said if we had any issues at all then just contact her.

Claire contacted us the next morning just to make sure that we'd slept ok and to make sure we were comfortable. We slept very well and were very comfortable. The Nest is a lovely bolthole in a nice part of North Wales.

Upon arrival Claire greeted us with warm welcome and was very informative about things to do around the area, the accommodation is lovely and well kept, didn't quite get around to use the sauna but Claire was very helpful with instructions of how to use it.

The Nest itself is wonderful has everything you need, we were even given milk and treats as a welcome. Very cosy please to stay, overlooking the sea. The sauna is a lovely touch with great instructions, beautifully built and placed! Recommend this to anyone!

We have had a fabulous week, Claire gave us a warm welcome with flowers, prosecco and strawberries, she recommended places of interest , restaurants and local attractions.

Accommodation was spotless, very homely and exceptionally comfortable providing eveything we needed, including off road parking, very secure. We even left with a parting gift, would highly recommend The Nest to anyone and will definitely be returning. Thank you Claire for a great 7 day break.

I had a wonderful time at The Nest.

Fantastic owner who communicated kindly and helpfully before and during my stay and who wants you to have the best time. This is also reflected in the quality of the accommodation. It’s secluded so you can enjoy peace and tranquility but also you have lots close by even if you are on foot or travelling by public transport. Local train and bus station. Multiple supermarkets, bars and places to eat. The views from The Nest out to sea and over Prestatyn and Rhyl are stunning. The local walking paths are fantastic, especially the coastal one. Claire was very kind and left me local produce to try in the form of various food and drink, especially the goodbye gift. It’s so well thought out as it’s not only the kindest of gestures but everything being local makes it feel unique. Inside The Nest, the cleanliness is pristine. The furnishings are modern and stylish. The bed is the most comfortable you could wish for. The strong heating system and sauna means you’ll never go cold even in winter. The huge smart television in the lounge with many apps was perfect to relax with in the evenings. There’s a lot of thought and care that has gone into The Nest. I enjoyed a truly memorable stay and look forward to being a returning guest in the future. Thanks.

We had such a lovely stay at The Nest in December.

As soon as we arrived it was super clean and tidy, and Claire had made it feel really welcoming. She’d put a little board out with our names (Skye and Jack) and left some pop with fancy glasses which was such a cute touch. She also left us some strawberries and milk from Mynydd Mostyn Dairy and recommended we try their milkshakes — which we did and they were so good! The place was all decorated for Christmas and she’d even left us some tree-shaped biscuits which made it feel really cosy and festive. Claire showed us around when we got there and made sure we knew how everything worked. She also checked in with us every so often to make sure we were okay, which was really nice and made us feel looked after without being over the top. The Nest itself was so warm and cosy, especially with the underfloor heating. It was such a relaxing break. We even had two squirrel visitors and gave them some nuts that Claire had left in a jar by the door, which was really sweet. When we left, she gave us a little treat to take home which just topped everything off. Honestly such a nice stay and we’d definitely come back

This is a charming and well thought out property, ideal for two.

Overall it was immaculately kept and the private sauna at the back was very welcome. It is situated attractively overlooking Prestatyn, in countryside with a fascinating history, but access to restaurants and supermarkets is good. The owner is helpful and friendly.

There was loads of information on places to visit or the best places to eat so we were always able to go out and enjoy it to the most. It was very clean and very well thought out. Everything had a special touch such as the brownies and the fresh milk from the farm. The location was very easy to get to and was absolutely stunning overlooking the town and the beautiful beach. We had a very comfortable stay at the nest.

Everything was as described on the listing - it was impeccably clean and tidy when we arrived. It was warm and cosy when the weather was cold, with underfloor heating which was a real bonus. Communication/directions prior to arrival were very clear.

We had such a wonderful stay at Claire and Brendan’s annex in Prestatyn.

From the moment we arrived, they made us feel instantly welcome. They greeted us personally when we got there, and when we entered the annex we were met with so many thoughtful touches fresh strawberries in the fridge, a lovely bottle of Prosecco, fresh milk, and bottled water. It set the tone for a perfect weekend. The annex itself was spotless, comfortable, and cosy. The mattress was beautifully firm and gave us a great night’s sleep. We stayed here to celebrate my girlfriend’s 24th birthday, and Claire and Brendan made the experience feel truly special. They were always available whenever we needed anything at one point we couldn’t figure out how to turn the sauna on, and Brendan came over straight away to help. Their friendliness and warmth really stood out. Even when we were leaving, they surprised us with delicious Welsh cakes and jam such a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot. It’s the little things they do that make a big difference. We genuinely felt looked after throughout the whole stay. We would absolutely book with them again next time we’re in North Wales. Highly recommended!

Fantastic accommodation with all the amenities you would need.

It was clean and comfortable with some luxury touches. The sauna was a unique offering which we thoroughly enjoyed. Claire was extremely helpful emailing suggestions of places to visit and eat. She was there when we arrived and when we left and gave us a lovely gift on departure. We would definitely recommend The Nest and will hopefully be returning.

We booked a little getaway at The Nest for our first wedding anniversary, and from start to finish it was truly perfect.

From the moment we booked, Claire, our host, went above and beyond to make everything special. She sent us a lovely welcome email, and when I mentioned it was our one-year anniversary and asked for recommendations for romantic spots and things to do nearby, she was incredible — she went the extra mile to help us plan the most memorable weekend. Claire checked in regularly to make sure everything was okay without ever being intrusive, and she even surprised us with a little anniversary gift, which was such a thoughtful touch and meant so much to us. The Nest itself was immaculate and equipped with everything you could possibly need. It had some really cool features that made it stand out — the secure electric gate for the car gave us peace of mind, the built-in speakers were perfect for setting the mood, and the sauna was just amazing for relaxing together in the evenings. Claire was only ever a text away if we needed anything, which made everything feel effortless and so welcoming. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. It was romantic, cozy, and so well thought-out in every way. We’ll definitely be visiting again — highly, highly recommend!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Nest, we were looking for a quiet place to just chill and it gave us that in every way.

It was close enough to walk to all amenities and an excellent location to explore the surrounding area. We had a really lovely welcome from Claire the host on our arrival, she made sure we were happy and comfortable with everything and then left us to relax. Her care and attention was greatly appreciated and all we had to do if we needed anything was drop her a message, not that we had to, because everything was perfect. We will be back and we will certainly recommend it to others.

Had an absolutely lovely stay!

From the minute we turned up to the minute we left, we could tell Claire had gone above and beyond! For us the best feature though was the little sauna area!! Every day after coming back from out and about, we would relax in the sauna. For sure, the best way to recouperate after those long walks! They even provided a cooling off shower outside.

A fabulous property!

Spotless, high quality furnishings, an extremely comfortable bed plus everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Claire is an exceptionally accommodating and welcoming host. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate in booking again.

Relaxing Sanctuary I stayed at the Nest with my partner for 4 nights, I can honestly say this is the best self catering accommodation we’ve stayed in.

My partner is very picky, he loved the modern high spec design, he quickly felt cosy and at home in the Nest. The Nest is perfectly formed, the design, attention to detail and a wonderful garden that creates the indoor/outdoor feel. Being suana fans, to have one nestled away was a real treat that we thoroughly enjoyed. Sitting out in the garden with a coffee listening to the birds, watching the squirrels was a zen like relaxing treat from my usual pace of life. We are quite active, when we could pull ourselves away from the garden the location was great for walks right on the Nest doorstep. Claire is a lovely host, a friendly welcome when we arrived, fountain of great local information. Lovely welcome treats such as cookies (i think i got one bite as my partner ate them), prosecco (which happened to be one of my favourites) and fresh milk with welsh tea and coffee added to the attentive attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble, on our way back from a long walk we messaged asking for a couple of sun loungers and towels. We arrived back to the Nest 10 minutes later and we had two loungers set up on the patio and towels. Packing up to head home today it was a first for us to be sat contemplating looking into staying for another night or two. That’s tells us how much we enjoyed our stay at the Nest and we are already talking dates when we plan to return. Claire was there to say goodbye, wish us a safe journey and parting gift of Welsh cakes. Thank you for making our break extra special.

Simply perfect!

This is probably the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in, in 25 years! Everything we could have wanted for a relaxing break on the beautiful north Wales coast. Claire was a fantastic host, providing recommendations for places to visit and local restaurants before we arrived and always on hand during our stay if we needed anything. The property is finished to a VERY high standard with lots of extra touches that made our stay really special. We will definitely book again.

I have been using Sykes Cottage’s for holiday locations for over 12 years now and although every holiday has been very good, the stay at the “Nest” was exceptional.

The location was breathtaking with nature walks on your doorstep,the accommodation was first class with every facility catered for in this beautifully laid out cabin. Outside Sauna, Barbecue and very friendly squirrels were all available. The cleanliness of the location and the genuine friendliness of the owners was a joy to be hold.

Upon arrival Claire was there to meet us and show us around the nest.

Claire was a fantastic host and would do anything to help. Now as for the Nest, we'll it is fantastic, everything is there a real home from home. The property is upto date fresh clean and all mod cons ,the main room leads to the bedroom and onsuit shower and wc all Finished to a top standard. Then the sauna is such a bonus with its ambient lighting ,Bluetooth speaker it just finished the whole package. My wife and I came for a rest away from it all and the nest gave us that and a whole lot more. The wild life is fantastic to watch and there are nuts to feed the energetic squirrels run around as you just chill and take it all in at your own pace. This has been a fantastic holiday and Claire should be proud of what she has created. We have already booked again. Jane and I have only great things to say about the nest, and think the people who book here will say exactly the same. Thank you Claire.

The Nest is amazing.

We were welcomed by the owner Claire who made sure we knew where everything was. The prosecco and chocolate was a nice surprise, and well received. We were so comfortable, always keen to return each day and relax in first class facilities. The sauna was a nice way to relax after a full day of walking. We will definitely be returning to the Nest during a warmer season to appreciate the outdoor facilities.

Where do I start about this dream holiday!

Wow! What an absolutely stunning property in the most beautiful setting! The view was just amazing; it looked like our own secret hideaway in the forest. We were greeted by 4 squirrels, so my girls were really excited! Then even more excited to see that Claire had left them strawberry milkshakes and mini cupcakes!! We loved how cosy it was, made even more so by the underfloor heating and fantastic lighting and the electric log burner. I loved that every detail had been thought of from the nuts to feed the squirrels, the log burner being for show so the kids didn't burn themselves, and the sign and flowers welcoming us. It was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean and tidy on arrival. Everything was provided for us to keep it this way too. There were robes and slippers for us to use in the sauna and a beautiful collection of aromatherapy oils. The sauna was wonderful and much appreciated addition, when we were after a fun, but relaxing holiday. I left there feeling so much better and after a long and stressful half term, it was just what we needed! The girls loved playing the board games, watching TV and most of all being outside feeding the squirrels and exploring the area. Even when it rained, the girls were having the best holiday. Claire was a perfect host. Before the holiday, she emailed to ask if we wanted to know places to visit and explore and where to eat. We definitely took her up on a few of her suggestions and these were fantastic. She asked which flavour milkshakes the girls would like and made sure she had thought of them as well as us. She came to greet us personally at the house and check we had everything we needed and checked back the next day which I thought was really thoughtful of her. We had no problems, but I know she would have sorted them instantly. She even came to say goodbye with a gift for us and the girls. She was the best host I have ever come across. I am so glad we chose the Nest for our family mini break. I couldn't have wished for a more perfect holiday. I highly recommend this place and we are all looking forward to staying again. Definitely 10/10 all round, I can not fault this property or host. Thank you for making our holiday so special.

Amazing stay, Claire was a very attentive host, facilities and furnishings all feel like new, peaceful setting with lots of local walks and wildlife to enjoy.

Great also as a base for activities further afield as Chester and Caernarfon are both under an hour away.

We’ve just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable week at the Nest.

Claire is a lovely welcoming host who is happy to recommend places to visit and nothing is too much trouble. She provided lovely extras of Prosecco, local ale, cakes, jam and chocolates which made our stay feel really special. The Nest is top class accommodation, spotlessly clean, private and really comfortable. It’s within easy walk into the town, well situated for the coast and we also enjoyed visits to Liverpool, Chester and Chester Zoo while we were there. The state of the art private sauna is a real bonus as is lovely Cyril the squirrel, a regular outdoor little visitor who will eat nuts straight out of your hand! All in all it was a great stay, we would recommend the Nest to anyone and we will definitely stay again one day to see more of this beautiful area. Thanks Claire.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, it was more than we expected from the booking and a perfect location, close to the kids favourite things.

Incredibly comfortable and has everything we needed. My girls were exceptionally happy to find there were 2 squirrels who visited each morning. Sauna was brilliant and easy to use. The host claire was lovely, she picked up some milkshakes for my daughters before we arrived and couldn't have been more gracious when we met in person on our arrival. She checked in with us on our stay to ensure we were happy and if we needed anything. We will definetly be repeat customers

The Nest is an absolute gem of a find.

The location is perfect for exploring north Wales including Snowdonia, which we were able to climb during our stay. Our 8 year and 6 old loved the Nest and when we left they were saying that they’d like to live there! The property had everything you’d need for a week a way, it was modern, clean and well equipped for a family of four. However, what really made our holiday special was our host, Claire. From getting fresh milkshakes for the boys on arrival to giving us loads of tips about the local area. She was a fantastic host and makes a stay at The Nest even more special.

Our host Claire could not of done anymore to make our visit exceptional . Claire was able to give excellent ideas on where to visit but also had brilliant knowledge of the local area . Claire’s recommendations absolutely enhanced our visit and her passion for the area really showed. Nothing has not been thought about for guests at the Nest . It’s incredibly comfortably and a perfect place to rest after exploring North Wales. Everything about the Nest is high quality. It’s been designed to maximise comfort of stay. The Nest feels very private and is a great place for a peaceful break . We loved seeing the friendly squirrel visit in the morning. The combination of the hosts care , the idilic location and the first class accommodation made our stay perfect . We stayed for a week and will be back again next year . The sauna is a must and is a real bonus feature . Would completely recommend for a getaway to explore North Wales absolute 5 stars from us .

. What a Gem to find! My family and I had such a lovely stay. Claire the host of The Nest was incredibly welcoming, friendly and approachable. The Nest is so fresh and modern and comes with its own sauna .. such a lovely touch. We wouldn't hesitate to rebook The Nest when we return to North Wales.

The Nest was immaculate and well equipped, the outdoor sauna was a relaxing bonus.

Claire the host was lovely, very accommodating and informative of the local area. Recommendations for local walks, bike rides and amenities helped us enjoy our stay.

Nice enough, didn’t like all the squirrels as couldn’t have the doors and windows open.

No shower pads or mat so slipped a few times gaining a few bruises.The bed was really uncomfortable .lack of privacy , felt like we were being watched the whole time .Owner was too in your face .Went for a break but didn’t feel like it was one!

The property was neat,clean and extremely well equipped.The host was an incredible, kind-hearted lady,she made sure we have all that we need.I went with my 2 boys and husband.We were welcomed by cupcakes and milkshakes for the boys.A fresh milk bottle from the farm was there too.The property was such a calm and peaceful place for my 4 year old autistic son to be in.From beddings to the kitchen stuff everything was clean and spotless.I was impressed by the level of attention to detail the owner put through .On top of that there was a sauna too with robes,slippers and essential oils for aroma therapy.The WiFi was excellent too.We are definitely coming again.

Wow!

We've just returned from the most wonderful week at The Nest. The property is phenomenal and a true 'home from home'. The property is cosy and clean with luxurious touches (such as the Finnish Sauna with essential oils, a comfortable Tempur mattress, welcome pack with milkshakes for our son and Elemis toiletries to name a few). Claire is also a truly fantastic and friendly host who provided lots of information on the local area and her recommendations of places to visit were absolutely brilliant. The icing on the cake for our 10 year old was the resident squirrel called Cyril who came to see us daily. Highly recommended and we will be returning. Huge thanks to Claire.

High end property, fresh and clean.

Claire was amazing beginning to end. With knowledge, kindness and going above and beyond. Stunning property, great location for everything we needed. Fresh farm milk and cake on arrival. Champagne, balloon and flowers for our anniversary. Sauna is a touch after all the hiking. You need to book this place. Simple as that!!!

The phrase 'good things come in small packages' certainly applies to this little gem of a place.

Beautifully appointed, meticulously maintained, and a very warm and friendly welcome from the host. I am not normally inclined to wax lyrical about holiday accommodation but this is one stunning spot. We will be back!

Our stay at The Nest was amazing, our baby boy loved the open plan lounge/kitchen, running around in circles.

We were left cupcakes and a lovely blackboard personal sign welcoming us to the property. This property is very well laid out with it's underfloor heating and pocket doors making it very spacious. No cost has been cut to this property, everything is of good quality from the solid worktops, solid wood breakfast bar, wooden tiled flooring, and lighting. The host Claire was nothing but lovely and accommodating, she bought us chocolate milkshake from the farm on arrival and on the day of leaving brought George a balloon and a dragon teddy to celebrate his birthday.

The Nest is an excellent walking distance to Prestatyn Beach and the nearby shops.

I booked The Nest for its location and family friendly feel and I wasn't disappointed. We were greeted on our first morning by a Squirrel knocking on the window for some Nuts (Claire supplies the goods) and my 3 year old was mesmerised by this. The Nest is incredibly clean and has all the necessities needed for cooking. The shower has good water pressure and the Sauna was a great place to wind down in. Claire is a fantastic and accommodating host. We would definitely book The Nest again and it deserves the hype. Thank you for allowing us to create lasting memories in The Nest, Claire.

On arrival welcomed like family by Claire, who was very helpful and informative with the technology of the Nest and surrounding area.

The Nest is very modern, comfortable and immaculate inside and out. Perfectly situated for little walks with plenty of natural attractions. Loads of local places to eat and drink. Perfect little break. We will definitely stay again. Thank you Claire.

Our holiday at the Nest was wonderful, a cosy stay with brilliant kitchen facilities, it has everything you need for a stay in North Wales, and not to mention a Sauna!

Claire the owner is incredibly insightful about the local area and North Wales as a whole, being an excellent host to us as guests with some local farm goods to indulge in on arrival.

Wonderful stay at The Nest!

We have spent the last week staying at the Nest and have had a truly relaxing and enjoyable time. Claire is the most excellent hostess and was on hand as soon as we arrived to give us a really warm welcome and give us many recommendations of places to go and things to do in the surrounding area! There was fresh milk and Rocky roads for us when we arrived too which was such a lovely welcome. The whole property has been really carefully thought out and really felt like a lovely little home (or nest!) to be in. The sauna is a lovely added bonus too and Claire provided slippers, robes and towel for this too which was a really thoughtful touch. Could not recommend this place more for a lovely stay!

An amazing stay!

A great place, in a great location, with a great host on top of that. The Nest is situated beautifully with great access and amazing views. The beach is about a 30 minute walk straight through the high street so it is a nice walk with places to stop by for lunch, there are other walks near by and additional places a short drive away. The host Claire was lovely and has really thought about everything! The place itself was lovely with a great atmosphere. I had the pleasure of spending my birthday here in which I had a great chilled day doing what I love. Highly recommend :)

We’ve just had the most wonderful and relaxing break at The Nest in Prestatyn which is so deserving of five stars.

The superb quality of everything from soft furnishings & bedding to kitchen appliances, the attention to detail, the spotless cleanliness and the warm welcome we received were all absolutely outstanding. The facilities are of the very highest standard and Claire is a natural and brilliant host. We took all the information she gave us on local walks, restaurants and cafes and spent four magical days exploring and visiting different venues, returning each evening to a much needed and extremely relaxing sauna. Like The Nest, the sauna has well thought out features so temperature, music, lighting etc are all easily programmed to individual preferences. Aroma oils and robes are provided. Cyril, the visiting squirrel, loves monkey nuts (also provided) and will take them from your hand. He is very cute indeed. Now the secret is out I fear we will have difficulty booking our next stay! Thank you for looking after us so well and for the welcome bottle of Prosecco and luxury biscuits which were such a thoughtful and appreciated touch. The Nest exceeded our expectations by a mile and we look forward to revisiting in the summer. Warmest wishes, Y & A.

Perfect for 2, high spec interior and outside space.Although outside space does not get much sun. Location was perfect for coast path, Offa’s Dyke and lovely local walks. Good choice of restaurants and cafes in Prestatyn. Great choice for an active or restful break.

Me my wife and my 5year old daughter stayed at the Nest for two nights, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, there is so much to do in the local area and surrounding, we only wish we had more time to explore, the Nest itself was amazing!

The comfort and relaxing environment is just brilliant the views are spectacular as the Nest is situated high up in the mountain you can see the whole town and the beach, Claire could not of been more helpful and welcoming, we will definitely be back for more.

We have had a fantastic stay at the nest, the property is immaculate and has everything you could need, there is a under counter fridge with a handy small freezer compartment, cooker, iron, microwave, WiFi, a hairdryer, dishwasher, BBQ and comfortable outdoor seating area.

Probably one of the main things about this place that really stands out is that it has a lovely private Sauna which has relaxing lights plus you can play music inside (you can also connect it to your phone), Robes and oils are also provided. We found the Nest to be very comfortable and luxurious, there are so many well thought out little extras provided like eye masks, delicious rocky road slices, local milk, a milkshake for our Son, a variety of teas, hot chocolate and board games. The area is beautiful with lots of things to do close by and there are plenty of nice restaurants, a retail park, a Tesco as well as the beach and they are all within walking distance. The owner Claire is really lovely and was happy to help with anything we needed, She also provided us with the details of what was going on in the area over the bank holiday weekend. We will definitely book to stay here again.

Beautifully finished and the attention to detail is second to none. Lovely accommodation had everything you need and was very clean and well presented.

Well looked after and good attention to detail. Nice quiet location as well, high up near woods overlooking the town which had plenty to offer as well.

The Nest is an immaculate property with all necessary facilities.

It is located on a quiet road, with secure parking, with wooded surrounding area making it full of birdlife, squirrels etc. The property has marvellous views overlooking Prestatyn and the sea beyond, the sunsets can be superb from the property. Prestatyn town, beaches and many local walks are a short walk from the Nest, or if you prefer to drive car parking is plentiful at end June. The host is available upon arrival, and throughout, and gladly provides all necessary information about recommended restaurants, walks, places to visit etc making you feel very welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. We will be looking forward to visiting The Nest again in the future, having thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many thanks Ann and Mike

Myself and my family had a lovely week at the Nest.

Perfect location , modern building and ideal for families. We was the first guests to use the sauna , it was so relaxing with lights, music and very private. The owner was amazing , helpful and very welcoming. Inside the Nest its spotless , new , and there are two tv’s, wi-fi and a great lay out . The host provides a bbq, outdoor seating area. It was nice watching the evening sun set. The local golf club is ideal for a few drinks and foods. Very private and i fell in love with the place. We will be returning.

Stunning self contained accommodation in a quiet woodland setting.

Beautifully furnished in tasteful calming greens and neutrals. The welcome cookies were delicious, there was plenty of space for a 5 day break and the Tempur mattress was superbly comfy after each day’s touring. The Finnish Sauna with mood colours was a delight too. The parking area is private, secure and spacious. Claire was a perfect host, going through the essentials after a warm welcome, and providing not only a helpful Info folder, but also top tips for our stay in the area. We’re looking forward to a return visit.

Furnished to a very high standard, attention to detail, fab Tempur mattress, very comfy sofa cum bed. Cannot praise it enough. My daughter and me spent a lovely three days here. The owner had left a very helpful folder with details of the area, attractions, walks, dining areas etc. Milk and cookies on arrival were supplemented by a lovely strawberry milkshake for my 15 yr old. Prestatyn is very beautiful. Great easter break. Thank you Claire. We would gladly come again.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this gorgeous accommodation.

It provided a great base for the Christian conference we were attending (a 6 minute drive away) and it far outstripped the accommodation available onsite!!! We were able to attend everything that we wanted to whilst coming back to relax in a clean, comfortable and beautiful environment . The owners couldn’t have been more helpful, friendly or generous- leaving us fresh farm milk and cookies for our arrival and fetching us more fresh milk and delicious milkshakes later on in our stay. We highly recommend The Nest and are looking forward to returning there at some point.

The hosts had thought of absolutely everything you could possibly need for your stay including a information booklet of takeaways, restaurants, bars and local attractions which was very helpful if you’d never been to the area before. The Nest itself is beautiful and in a fantastic location. It has been furnished to such a high standard even with underfloor heating for those cold mornings. We look forward to a return visit.
