Y Caban Clyd

A lovely cozy cabin, views fantastic, nice hot tub, friendly owner, only slight negative was a 'dog smell' especially in the smaller of two bedrooms and decor needs a little updating, but overall very private and lot's of place's in a close driveable distance to visit, beautiful beaches, towns and scenery.

We've had many holidays from N to S Wales beautiful country.

What a lovely lodge.

Very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and very clean. The spa pool was fabulous and the seating area came with fabulous views. Sian,the owner, was lovely and genuinely wanted us to have a good time. Highly recommended.

The accommodation was perfect for our holiday requirement, everything was clean.

Excellent views plus great hot water tub.

The lodge was just as described, it was tucked away in a beautiful peaceful area.

The hot tub overlooks fields and we sat watching a fox and rabbits come and go over the weekend which was so lovely. Sian was very welcoming and gave us a bottle of Prosecco which was very kind. The lodge sits within the owner grounds, but we still had privacy. We had ample parking for the two cars we took. Our dog loved the very secure dog friendly garden which was great. We would highly recommend the lodge.

Sian popped over to say hi and gave us a bottle of Prosecco as we arrived as she lives across the way.

Only time we spoke but on hand if we were to need something. Really nice host. Location was perfect - views amazing. Great private large Hot Tub on decking. Cabin had everything we needed for our stay. Bed was super comfy, nice powerful hot shower. A welcome pack with info would have been a bonus and there was a couple small holes in the bamboo fence that our little Daxies soon found! You won’t be disappointed if you were to stay here.

Fab views & very peaceful. Location is great as close to coast & mountain walks. We walked the ones you can see from the cabin which is Carn Fadryn & Garn Boduan. Very nice owners who are on hand if needed but give you privacy. Hot tub was great to relax & unwind.

Our second stay here and the cabin is still as clean, comfortable, warm and well maintained as before, really good supply of crockery and pans etc.

It’s a great base for exploring the Llyn peninsula, beautiful beaches and coastal walks and a lovely scenic walk from the door to the Ty Coch pub. Hot tub with a view is a fabulous bonus as was the enclosed garden area for the dog. Sian is a lovely host, friendly but not intrusive and she responded immediately to issue raised with gas bottle needing replacing and it was quickly sorted. I would recommend a stay here and hope we can return soon.

This property is in a great location with a fantastic mountain/countryside views.

lovely well kept property with a well maintained hot tub and an attentive host. We loved the walks down to the beach with our two Cocker Spaniels (Betty & Daisy) who also had a great time. Thanks very much Sian we definately will return.

This property is in a beautiful location with outstanding views.

Ideal for exploring the surrounding area. It was 100% dog friendly and was ideal for our 2 small dogs, who were relaxed throughout our stay. Private hot tub ensuing the humans also enjoyed relaxing. Hosts were welcoming and at hand if needed. A very enjoyable stay and hope to be back in the future as the area has so much to offer and property was perfect for our needs

We had a perfect week in y caban.

Views are breathtaking and very private area outside to relax and enjoy the hottub (and the sheep that came to visit the field each day). The property was clean and comfortable and with a well equipped kitchen. Hosts were perfect blend of available and respectful of privacy. Short distance from beach and stunning walks, North Wales is so beautiful. We were blessed with the weather but this is a place we would enjoy no matter what the weather was like. We will be back!

The lodge was very well maintained and spotlessly clean with everything you would need.

The area around the lodge was secure which is perfect for a dog friendly stay and the hot tub was great. There were plenty of parking also. We could not have asked for more from this stay, in a beautiful part of the world with a very friendly and helpful host

Had a wonderful week at Y Caban Clyd The cabin had everything we needed and was perfect for our 2 dogs.

The garden was very safe and no fear of them getting out. Sian was lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. We will certainly be back next year.

Really enjoyed our stay.

The location is so peaceful and the cabin well equipped. Highly recommended place to get away from it all. Only negative for me was the mattress topper, it made the bed too soft though I know everyone is different. A guide book for local beaches and walks would be a useful edition. Though Sian lived next door, she didn't mither but was quick to respond to messages.

The cabin was great.

It's an excellent location, out of the way but still walkable to the beach. The view is fantastic with Carn Fadryn in the background and to get a hot tub at this price point is a big plus. Rian was an excellent host who we only saw once all week despite living next door (this is a good thing so you don't feel like you're sharing the same space). The cabin had absolutely everything we needed. The weather was mixed but I can't blame Sykes or Sian for that. Would definitely stay again.

Had a wonderful time at the cabin!

The view is incredible and the whole place is super cosy. Bed was really comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked and fitted so it made for easy cooking. Lots of natural light in the day and a lot of storage options which was great as we came on 3 motorcycles so there was a lot of boxes and gear! Also really safe for bikes.

Morfa Nefyn has great beaches and scenic walks- the Ty Coch pub is within walking distance. Good base to explore the Llyn Peninsula. We will happily return to Y Caban Clyd again.

We had a lovely stay here over the Christmas period.

Great location for a quiet, peaceful break. Not too far to walk to the beach and other walking routes around. The views of the fields are so pretty and we really enjoyed this while using the hot tub. Sian was on hand if we needed her and her communication was great before arriving and whilst there. Lovely little pub just up the road where we visited on Christmas Eve for our Christmas dinner. Overall we had a really relaxing break and it was perfect for our Christmas spending quality time together. Thank you x

My son and I had a lovely stay at Y Caban Clyd which was very well placed for visiting some of our favourite places in North Wales.

The cabin was very clean and comfortable with amazing views. The whole area was very peaceful and great to be enjoyed from the hot tub or on the decking at breakfast. We even saw the Northern Lights for the first time! There were issues with the heating and the hot water, but Sian was responsive and helpful and these were resolved. Would certainly go back again.

Well equipped kitchen but overall property and furnishings very tired; settees extremely uncomfortable.

This property is ideal for us. The enclosed outdoor space is perfect for our dogs and our little boy. The location is great for exploring the Llyn Peninsula.

Very disappointing visit.

Owner was made aware of the issues and to be fair did try to rectify them. Issues were heating was broken ( new thermostat required) the owner did provide us with an electric heater but that only heated one room. Quite how you can charge £500 for a property with no heating is just not on Bedrooms and bathroom was cold. No heating provided for them Oven didn’t work it took ages for us the get it on and when we did get it on it smoked the place out. Fire alarms going off, the owner said it was due to a liner in the bottom of the oven ??? we had a microwave/combi which we used but couldn’t cook a meal using the oven Fridge froze our shopping we had to dispose of some of the food we bought. After we checked the fridge it was full of ice . Lights were constantly flickering on and off so we ended up sat in the dark. Overall cleanliness wasn’t up to much. We had a few spiders in the food cupboard there was hair on the floor. Glasses etc were dusty. Just needed a deep deep clean. On leaving day I stripped the bed and there was daddy long legs under the sheets. Positives were lovely views and the hot tub. Considering what we paid for 5 days I don’t think it was good value for money and wouldn’t go back. Place needs to be brought up to scratch before it’s rented out again

Overall a lovely place to stay, extremely friendly host (and a lovely welcome from the dog).

Hot tub added a perfect touch, along with the views, very relaxing. If I had to have any negatives, and being very picky, the cleanliness/finishing touches could be improved, but it's a pet friendly accommodation so it wasn't an issue that would stop us visiting again.

What a gorgeous location and cabin.

Just back from the most relaxing of weeks here. The location and the views are absolutely stunning, so peaceful and quiet. Feels like you're in the middle of nowhere yet only a few minutes in the car to the beach. Sian was lovely, popped over for a chat and to explain the basics of the cabin and then left us to it, The cabin is cosy and very well equipped with everything you could need, relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day looking at the views was perfect. We can't imagine not coming back here as we loved it so much, not surprised reading reviews of other people who have done the same. Thank you

This is our 3rd visit .

We have had 2 lovely weeks here and again we have totally relaxed and enjoyed our stay. It is so quiet & peaceful and the scenery is exceptional. Plenty of walks and dog friendly beaches. Sian was an excellent host and any queries were dealt with efficiently - we will be booking again, we can't wait till our next visit here.

Really enjoyed my stay. Ideal for a base to relax or vist love places in that area of Wales. Found the road to it was extremely narrow and not good for dogs to walk along. Felt bed Mattress. Could do with being turned. Also found settee wasn't very comfortable. Loved Jacuzi and the shower. Didn't need dishwasher or washing machine for just a week. Better having another Cupboard for food. Happy to go back. Good holiday. I loved travelling on the stream train. In Porthmadog.

Nice and clean.

However there were lots of little issues. Furniture requires updating, well worn and uncomfortable. No cushions . A washing machine but no means to dry the washing. More crockery required or get rid of the dishwasher. nothing to read, 3 old DVDs. No radio. Sounds like I,m whinging, but the weather was dreadful so could not really go out. ( Everything was closed anyway) The hot tub (Which we looked forward to ) was open to the elements, so could not be used.

Had an absolutely wonderful relaxing peaceful holidays Cabin was warm cozy well looked after and the views were amazing Sian is there for you if you need anything thing and also gives you your own space, can’t wait to go back.

Lovely clean cottage with everything you need .

hot tub was fantastic and very well maintained. Sian was lovely and on hand if we needed anything without being intrusive, the bottle of presecco was a lovely welcome gift. Unfortunately the cleaner arrived whilst we were still in the property, she walked in without knocking bringing in her cleaning equipment whilst we were getting ready to leave, she could clearly see we where still there and it was earlier than the time we had to leave. We both thought this was extremely rude. But saying that we will definitely be returning

Bedrooms had a musty/damp smell, once we opened the windows it did get better, but smell didn’t completely go.

A gem of a place with beautiful views and a fantastic hot tub.

We had a lovely relaxed stay here for a week. Plenty to do in the area. It is a short 10 minute walk into the village, and there are beautiful beaches nearby. Snowdon is only a 45 minute drive away. Some great cycling routes round the peninsula. There is a local pub nearby which does great food, and also the Ty Coch Inn on the beach. My only issue was getting there, but Sian very kindly came out and helped direct me. Sian was very responsive to any questions/issues we had. Would thoroughly recommend and we hope to come back for another holiday.

Lovely place to stay.

It’s the second time we have stayed here, but this time we got the fab weather too which made our stay that extra bit better. The views from the property are stunning and having a hot tub to unwind in and take in the views is a brilliant feature to this property. The owner Sian is also very welcoming and helpful. I’m sure to come back again at some point in the future.

We have just returned from another relaxing holiday at Y Caban Clyd.

The cabin has everything we needed including beautiful views. Sian, the owner, was extremely helpful whilst respecting our privacy. Lovely enclosed area for our 2 young dogs. Excellent WiFi signal throughout the cabin. Lovely coastal paths/beaches 30mins walk away or short car journey. This was our second visit and we shall be booking again, Sandie & Co.

This was the third time I have stayed at this wonderful lodge.

It has everything needed and the hot tub is fantastic. The location is in a perfect setting, excellent privacy , beautiful scenery and so peaceful with the sounds of nature of sheep and birds. Property is also secure, perfect for our dog The owner is friendly and very welcoming and easily contacted if required. Will definitely visit again.

What a wonderful place.

The situation is great. So peaceful; wonderful views and everything in the Caban was perfect. Sian was so welcoming and helpful. The hot tub was a bonus. There are so many beautiful beaches in the area - the local one / Whispering Sands / Black Rock Sands. We could have stayed there much longer. Hope to return again in the future. Have stayed in HPB properties before, but this beats any of them. The perfect place to rest and unwind. Thank you Sian.

After being stuck in traffic jams for 2.

5 hours we just wanted to get in the property to use the facilities but the owner was straight onto us before we'd got out of the car. She agreed to come back later which she did but then proceeded to tell us all the things that were wrong with the property !. Overall it was a pleasant stay though.

A lovely place to stay, idyllic location - views are amazing!

Sian the owner is lovely, friendly and not intrusive at all despite living next door. The property has everything you could possibly want including lots of crockery so the dishwasher was only used twice in our five day stay. The hot tub is an added bonus and worked great. The place was immaculate when we arrived and Sian was really welcoming. It was everything you could possibly want from a break away, shame we were only there for a couple of days! Perfect for dogs too, our sausage dogs had a lovely time! Thank you!

We wanted a really relaxing break away and that's just what we got.

Lovely quiet setting. Inside, the cabin has everything you need for a home away from home, and the bed was lovely and comfy. Lovely to sit out on the terrace, and great to relax with a glass of something chilled in the hot tub. Everything you need is within walking distance. Sian met us on our arrival, and was on hand if we needed anything, but left us to enjoy the peace and quiet. Definitely would recommend, and would love to return.

Fabulous stay at this wonderful accomodation.

Made full use of the Hot Tub and it is in a beautiful setting. Both parties went round the block a couple of times before we found it so check on Google maps! Easy to park and unload at the door, sheep to gaze at and a donkey braying was perfect for us all. Sian is a lovely host. It was magical.

Y Cabin Clyd was a lovely secluded lodge overlooking wonderful countryside.

Sian the owner was very welcoming and helpful but in no way compromised the privacy of the lodge. The hot tub was great, the last half mile to the property is down some narrow lanes that needed care to navigate.

The lodge is well equipped, clean, warm and the beds were very comfortable. There is a smart tv and wifi in the lodge. The hot tub was amazing, we used it everyday. Sian greeted us on arrival and was on hand with any queries we had during our stay. Outside area was great and the views were amazing. The lodge is very private and peaceful, would definitely return!

A short weekend break with friends & our little dog.

Lodge is home away from home. The surrounding area is quiet with amazing views. You have everything you need & more. Lovely welcome from Sian & a bonus of a bottle Prosecco chilling in the fridge. The hot tub was relaxing & sitting in it under the stars was spectacular. Beds are comfy & had a great nights sleep. Close enough to get to a lovely beach & a short drive to Pwllheli for a change of scenery. Thank you for having us stay Sian. It was just what we all needed. See you again soon. X

A very pleasant, comfortable and lovely cabin set in a beautiful location, not far from local amenities, yet felt secluded and privacy 100%.

My daughter and I have had the most wonderful week with our little dog, who was able to roam safely and securely within the boundaries of the outside area of the cabin. The hot tub was amazing, we enjoyed it everyday, The position or the cabin and hot tub meant we could enjoy the sun’s warmth wherever we were when sat outside, and we could gaze across at stunning scenery all around. Most definitely would consider returning. Beautiful. Thank you to the lovely welcoming owner who was at hand should she be needed. Great place, Wonderful experience!

Y Caban Clyd had everything and more.

Beautiful location and walking distance to the beach. It was peaceful and relaxing. The hot Tub was lovely with stunning views whilst relaxing. The Lodge had everything we needed, comfy beds and comfy lounge area. Sian made us feel very welcome and was on hand if we needed anything, which we didn't but was reassuring if we did. Very dog friendly. Would highly recommend this place and I will be back for another stay.

Very peaceful and relaxing. I cannot thank Sian the owner, enough for allowing me to bring my dogs with me. The cabin was perfect for us, the local.facilities were good, and the local beach and Ty Coch pub, within a short drive. Sitting in the hot tub looking at the lovely views....was bliss. We hope to return. Hoping to return.

A great place to get away from it all, made all the more relaxing with use of the hot tub and a host, who nothing was too much trouble for, was friendly, but also gave you your own space.

Picturesque setting. Wonderful countryside and beaches very local . Hot tub was excellent, well maintained and looked after. Sian greeted us in arrival and explained things to us, she was there at hand, if we needed anything during our stay. The zwartable sheep where lovely, never seen them before. Definitely going again. Lovely, quiet location away from main roads.

Spectacular views. Beds are comfortable with plenty of storage space in bedrooms. Kitchen is very well-equipped. The high end hot tub is a treat. The beach is a mile walk away. The local Costcutter at the Essar filling station has a great bakery and plenty of fresh goods. Sian the owner is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning.

Y Caban Clud is a fantastic little secluded chalet near the village of Morfa Nefyn, situated on the owners property and surrounded by fields with views of the mountains, and a short distance from a number of beautiful beaches.

The private, high-end hot tub is a fantastic addition, and is lovely with the external lights at night. The external of the chalet is secure, which was great for the dog. Y caban is modern and well equipped, and seemed more spacious than the pictures suggest. We were comfortable throughout our stay. Sian was extremely welcoming and helpful throughout, and we look forward to coming back. Our only regret is that we booked a week instead of two, what a lovely part of Wales.

Listing was inaccurate as bed linen and towels were not provided.

We had to bring our own due to 'Covid precautions'. The blinds in the bedrooms are poorly fitting vertical blinds and don't keep out any light so we woke up very early. It would be easy to change these to better fitting blackout blinds. However, the cabin is beautifully situated with stunning views over the countryside and the layout is very private. The hot tub was fantastic. Inside, it was cosy and very well-equipped in terms of kitchen equipment, white goods and a smart tv with Netflix etc. The shower has plenty of pressure. The setting is truly rural, down a lovely, winding country lane - but only about a mile's walk to the nearest beach. We would definitely return.

A beautiful place in the middle of the Welsh countryside.

My girls and I had an absolutely excellent time. Could not recommend Y Caban enough. The owner, Sian was remarkably accomodating and there was plenty to do just a short drive away. The evenings were lovely and quiet and the hot tub was idyllic. The perfect weekend break.

The location and uninterrupted views from the cabin were excellent.

If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday the location will suit you. Sian has worked hard to make sure you have privacy during your stay. The cabin is well equipped with everything you will need, I particular loved the lighting around the decking. Ideal for dog owners and great walks nearby.

The upgrade to the hot tub is excellent and there are plenty of nice walks to go on nearby around the Llŷn Peninsula. For those that like surfing there is hells mouth beach at the end of the peninsula. All in all a great little gem of a place which remains unspoilt.

This is a luxury lodge in the beautiful area of the Llyn peninsula in the heart of North Wales, wonderful clean sandy beaches surround the area.

The lodge its self is beautifully clean and very well maintained with a very well equipped kitchen, the star of the holiday was the luxurious hot tub which gave us so much pleasure. Sian is welcoming and friendly.

Everything is all set up prior to arrival and everything is thought of especially in the current situation with Covid-19. The cabin is beautifully presented and has all you would need for any length of break. We stayed for a long weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were incredibly impressed with the privacy, the great layout and the amazing peaceful views. The hot tub was lovely, and looking out over the fields to such an incredible backdrop was just what we needed. A couple of great pubs are in easy reach as well a great sandy beach and good walks. We'd thoroughly recommend staying here. It's been brilliant :)

A prefect setting for a peaceful holiday.

Ideal for the dog (greyhound) with plenty space in and around the secure Cabin. Views from the cabin are stunning and the hot tub is an added bonus and so relaxing. Sian the owner is fantastic and so helpful at a moments notice. On nice days you can relax well into the late evening in the sun on the decking. Really can't fault the place was very lovely. We were also very lucky to watch the beautiful Red Kites soaring above us a number of times throughout our stay. The beaches are in walking distance and are gorgeous. What an amazing break!

Sian was extremely welcoming and was extremely helpful when we needed her. The cabin was just what we needed - cosy and far away from the hustle and bustle of life! The location was great. Having a car definitely helped for getting around, although I'd have happily spent the whole weekend in the hot tub! For a quiet weekend / week away I'd definitely recommend Y Caban Clyd.

An absolutely beautiful retreat, lush little cabin in the beautiful welsh countryside!

I cant recommend this place enough, we are wanting to book again when the weather is abit nicer. Storm Dennis was the only let down but we still managed a nice soak in the tub each night! Inside was clean, cosy, nicely decorated and smelt really nice :) The nearby village is also really nice for walks, scenic views all-round. We booked for valentines and birthday as we had never visited Wales, was the perfect introduction we needed. Thanks again, Sian! You were a lovely, friendly host and we are considering coming back again :)

This cabin is perfect, a home from home.

Everything you need is there and it is spotless. The views are stunning and the hot tub is a added bonus. The cabin is lovely and warm. Sian couldn’t do enough for us. We will be going back.

The cabin was so cosy and had an incredible view from the main lounge window.

It was also very private and homely, which was ideal for our little family. Was a great place to escape on a week off from work to just chill out and relax, which was helped by the excellent hot tub. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

Spotlessly clean so comfortable and a home away from home. The hot hub is fantastic and relaxing. Have already recommended this place to our family and we would certainly return in the future.

Our stay at the cabin was fantastic.

The garden and decking was really secure so knowing that our dog wasn’t able to escape was great. Our host was superb, ensuring we had everything we needed to make our stay the best it could be. We’re already planning our return.

Spent a week here in August 19 and loved it,Y Caban Clyd was clean,comfortable and had everything we needed and so much more.

Sian was really helpful, a great host and we wouldn't hesitate in returning next year or even sooner.

This holiday was absolutely perfect, I can’t believe how nice it was.

Dogs were free to roam and the hot tub was incredible. Kind and sweet host and lovely and private. Thank you again we really loved it.

..we spent a lovely week at the very beginning of May 19 with our 2 and 4 year olds and mental Springer Spaniel. Great views, large wrap around decking area, enclosed...well equipped...great base for NW Wales days out. Ty Coch Inn beach walk is about the best in the UK IMO. Recommended! Chris Levick

We had a lovely time at the Cabin.

It was clean and welcoming, we absolutely loved it. The hot tub is such a bonus it was great. We have already booked our slot for next year. Sian was lovely and welcoming and made sure we had a great stay! Would recommend the ship in down the road at edern, dog friendly and the food was fabulous.

Lovely cabin, well equipped.

Clean and comfortable. Views are amazing from every window. Hot tub is a delight, keeps hot and hot water hose available if it needs topping up. The location is quiet and near to beaches and lovely walks. Ideal relaxing break, just what we needed.

Had the most relaxing, enjoyable holiday.

The scenes are stunning, and the cabin is highly maintained. The hot tub was luxurious! The owner, Sian, and her dog, Anie, were very accommodating. They gave us privacy, and were always available if we had any queries. We would recommend this place, and we hope to go back again.

Bedrooms and linen smelt musty.

Extractor fan not working Bathroom door lock broke. Electric tripped when toaster and kettle on ,no instructions where fuse box was Owners dog left large amounts of dirt near the entrance to our cabin. Food left in freezer. Had to maintain hot tub ourselves without proper guidance or materials. ( hence we never used it ). Dirty Mark's on walls over radiators and paper peeling off wall in living room. Heating controlled by owner ,kept going cold. Flooring in bathroom tatty,covered by mats. Wardrobes tatty ,missing bits of wood coating. No welcome book or information..just paper on wall with little bit of info on. Generally not the cost cabin we had been led to believe. Lovely views though

If you want somewhere clean and comfy that your able to feel at home this place is the perfect spot with Amazing views.

We had a lovely stay here for a long weekend.

Nice easy arrival, the cabin was clean and the hot tub ready to go! Everything we needed was there Lots to do in the area with the walk to the RNLI station along the coast highly recommended.

Everything from start to finish was perfect, I was kept informed all the way and our holiday was made effortless, and this has been the same when we have used Sykes pet Friendly Cottages before.

Brilliant and we will be booking more trips away...:)

What a lovely holiday home.

Lovely little cabin in a rural location with a steaming hot tub to enjoy whenever you want. Sian was a wonderful hostess and nothing seemed too much trouble for her. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil place to relax. The views from the cabin are amazing. I hope to return in the near future.

We had a lovely couple of days away at Y Caban Clyd with amazing views over the Welsh countryside whilst sitting in the hot tub!

There was plenty of walks around the area which were suitable for the Dog! The Cabin was warm and cosy which was lovely to relax in after being out all day. Sian, the owner, was very helpful if we ever needed any assistance with anything! Overall we had a great time!

My partner and I had a wonderful time at Y Caban Clyd for our anniversary.

The cabin itself is clean, cosy and warm (stay was in November) with beautiful views, both from the hot tub and the cabin itself. Sian was a fantastic host and recommended a few places to visit, including The Ship Inn for food & Ty Coch Inn which I would say are both musts; the beach walk to the Ty Coch Inn is not worth missing. By the end of our stay we both didn't want to leave, and will definitely be returning. Thank you Sian for a wonderful stay.

The cabin was beautiful warm and cosy with lovely views and wildlife and dog friendly.

The sheep horse and Donkey were also friendly. Sian is a lovely lady and always on hand if required. We were left to our own privacy. The hot tub was lovely on our crisp frosty mornings too. The cabin is well equipt and plenty of room including out on the decking. We will be going back as everything is close to the sea for us and dogs. What a perfect place to relax.

Feels like a second home, containing everything you could need down to the smallest details.

Travelled almost 300 mile which was definitely worth it for the peacefulness and privacy. Have to generally travel for activities but it is a lovely place just for relaxing in the hot tub (which is amazing!) Owner is very helpful and friendly. There was an issue with the hot tub on the first night, however she still emptied it and filled it with hot water so it was still useable until the man came to fix it the next morning. She allowed for us to set off fireworks and even collected a take away order for us!

Had a great weekend even though we had some terrible weather.

We were very warm and comfortable in the cabin. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Hot tub was a bonus.

We had an absolutely fabulouse time.

The cabin was so lovely. You have everything you need and the place was gleamingly clean. Totally private with nobody overlooking you and host also respecting privacy The views are awe inspiring and the hot tub.....oh that hot tub was such a treat. Crystal clear, spotlessly clean and heated ready for us to jump straight in and prosecco chilling in the fridge. Our host Sian was lovely and incredibly helpful even when contacting her after our holiday for more info. The only regret we had was that we both wished we could stay longer. We felt so relaxed there and even the narrow access lane was a doddle by the time we went home. And such beautifull local beaches and dog friendly pubs. Oh it was bliss.

Excellent holiday at the cabin!

Amazing views and the animals in the field behind were perfect for our 2 year old to watch! Cabin has everything you need and is a great spot, Wales in a heatwave is hard to beat! Hot tub and outdoor decking fantastic but not 100 % private as cabin is in owners grounds so may not suit everyone

Absolutely beautiful view from our cottage which we could enjoy to the fullest from the hot tub.

Comfortable and within short walking distance from the nearest sandy beach, and only a short drive (under an hour) to places of interest. Plenty to do in our week away with our little 3 legged dog.

Really lovely cottage, better than the pictures.

.... not just the everyday equipment as expected but more! Fully equipped kitchen with good quality kitchen wear and including dishwasher, smart tv and really comfy sofas. Hot tub was great much needed after a long drive and a trek up Snowdonia. Ps lots of towels good quality towels supplied. Comfy beds lovely bed linen easy to use boiler ....... although cottage is really toasty anyway! All round exceptional for a holiday cottage that allows dogs.

We had a really nice time at the lodge, it is in a lovely setting, however we did not believe that the lodge was dog proof, as there is holes in all surrounding fencing.

The problems started after we left the lodge. When I got home my partner and myself both noticed bites all over our bodies. I asked the vendor to look into this however she was not helpful at all and refused to take any negative feedback whatsoever. I thought this was incredibly rude and it certainly tainted the weekend for us! We wont be returning...

We had the most amazing holiday in the beautiful Y Caban Clyd!

It is super comfortable with awesome views and an unbeatable hot tub!! Towels and linen included mean less stress to pack and the beds were super comfy... we had such an ace time and the location is brilliant. We will definitely be back to stay in this beautiful lodge and we would DEFINITELY recommend it to anyone wanting a break away from hustle and bustle! Awesome!
