Access to the lodge is gained via impressive electric gates and along the driveway that opens out onto the spacious forecourt, where you will find plenty of off-road parking.
Take the exterior steps from the parking space to discover the lodge, where you can savour the awe-inspiring views before heading inside.
Admire the interior wood cladding of the open-plan living space, offering a distinct and authentic ambiance, which is complemented by the feature tree branches and leaves, as well as the contemporary furnishings and fixtures.
Step into the compact, yet well-equipped kitchen, where Victorian-style tiling lies beneath the sleek suite featuring a combi microwave/oven, a hob and fridge.
Concluding the downstairs is the shower room, whilst upstairs there is a plush king-size bed with award winning Emma mattress, where there is a self rising TV, perfect for relishing in those lazy mornings in bed.

Just half a mile away, and within walking distance of the property, is The White House restaurant and spa which has plenty of amenities for you to enjoy, and two miles away you’ll find The Piccadilly Inn who are more than happy to collect you and drop you back off at the pod free of charge in a luxury vehicle.
St Asaph also plays host to the smallest ancient Cathedral in Great Britain, founded in the year 560, a 9-hole golf course and riverside walks, where there are opportunities to spot kingfishers, sparrow hawks and buzzards.
Whilst here, be sure to head to the glorious coastline, where summer afternoons can be spent on the beaches of Talacre, Prestatyn and Pensarn, or travel slightly further afield to the bustling coastal town of Llandudno to enjoy the 19th-century Pier with shops and a games arcade, the North Shore beach and a tram journey up to the Great Orme.
Walking opportunities are in abundance here too, with the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park resting just a scenic drive away, where the more experienced hiker can take on the peaks of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Glyder Fawr and Tryfan, whilst a stroll around the beautiful Llyn Brenig and Alwen Reservoir offers something more leisurely.
Other local attractions include the Greenfield Valley Heritage Park, the highest pub in Wales, the Sportsman's Arms and the National Trust property of Erddig in Wrexham.

Wonderful place to stay for a short break with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.
Our hosts were extremely warm and welcoming. We would stay again definitely.
The property was fantastic, few steps up to it, but worth it, comfortable and compact, the views, if you get them magnificent, thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub,the owner,Ali, was there to meet us, very informative of surrounding area, had a good chat with him, was given some recommendations for things to see and do, would certainly recommend and revisit again.
We stayed at offes dyke escape for our honeymoon for a week and loved every minute of our stay.
The host's are wonderful very helpful helped us pick some great places to visit and the pod itself as everything you need. We even got some bird seed for the feeders just outside the pod and saw woodpeckers and Jay's. The setting is just the best just laying on the sofa looking out at the amazing view. Will definitely be going back again.

When we first arrived we were a little surprised at how close we were to the owners family home but once you walk up those steps you are in a little world of your own!
The views are to die for whatever the weather and the only sound is bird song. It was very well equipped, everything you could need. Hot tub is private and total luxury. Owners family were all lovely, there if you needed anything and had great advise on places to visit. We did not want to leave

The surrounding area is beautiful with plenty of walks and beaches just a short drive away. The property was absolutely perfect, clean and comfy. The little extra's just made our trip extra special, we appreciated the milk, butter, prosecco and the other little bits left for us! Ali was welcoming and helpful throughout the stay, recommending places for us to visit during our visit. Thankyou so much guys, we will be returning!
We had a fabulous 7 days staying at the Offa’s Dyke escape.
The owners Ali and Anna are very welcoming and friendly. Ali provided us with lots of local information as to best places to eat, drink and visit. We tried them all and we recommend the Dinorben Arms and the Blue Lion. The cabin is set high above the owners property which gives you privacy and beautiful views towards Snowdonia and the sea. Nothing could beat relaxing in the hot tub watching the sun set over Snowdonia. On arrival we had some lovely complimentary items, milk, butter, bagels, cake, beer and Prosecco which was much appreciated. We were even lucky enough to get some fresh eggs one day to enjoy for breakfast. This was a much needed relaxing break for us and we will certainly return one day, we can’t recommend enough. Thankyou Ali and Anna for making our stay so lovely.
We stayed at Offa's Dyke Escape from the 14th–21st February 2026 and had a lovely stay.
There were some lovely touches left in the pod (bagels, milk, butter, beers, cookies, tea, coffee and sugar), which we really appreciated. The kitchen is small but includes a double hob, toaster, kettle and microwave. As there is no oven, we made a couple of dinners in the pod but mostly ate out at local pubs. We visited The Dinorben Arms in Bodfari (around a 10‑minute drive) and The Blue Lion in Cwm (around a 4‑minute drive). Both were lovely, but the Sunday roast at The Blue Lion was fantastic. There are a number of National Trust and waymarked walks nearby, and we had a brilliant time exploring North Wales and the Wrexham area. One of the best parts was coming back to the pod and relaxing in the hot tub, watching the sunset over the distant hills — and sometimes watching the rain roll in! We also enjoyed watching TV in the lounge area on the comfy sofa, and we bought some bird seed so we could watch the birds through the large windows facing the hills. The bed on the mezzanine level was comfortable, but I would recommend descending the spiral staircase backwards as it is quite steep and twisty. The bathroom was very clean, with hand soap and towels provided. The shower was a good size and the towel rail gets very hot. There isn’t much storage for clothes other than the space under the sofa. We lived out of our suitcase during the week, which worked fine for us. The hosts were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. We received detailed directions and access information the day before our trip, and whenever we saw the hosts during the week, they were friendly and always happy to offer suggestions for places to visit or eat. Overall, we had an amazing stay at Offa’s Dyke Escape and would definitely book again for more exploring in North Wales.

Came here as a treat for my partners 60th birthday. When we arrived, we were greeted by a very nice Gentleman who took us up to the pod and showed us in. There was butter, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, bagels, cake, beer and even a bottle of Prosecco to welcome us. The pod was warm and everything was spotless. Even though the pod is situated on their property, you are the only pod and it is very private and quiet. Loved the hot tub – only downside is that it wasn’t quite hot enough to use when we arrived on the first night but this didn’t spoil our stay.

Lovely hosts and very helpful. It's in a stunning area with amazing views :) Only downsides were hot tub took a while to heat up and the stairs inside can be difficult to get up and down but this didn't really effect our stay! Thanks for lovely break!

The Cabin is beautifully maintained, comfortable, and equipped with everything you could need. The location is perfect for exploring the area, with plenty of great walks close by. We highly recommend The White House and Dinorben Arms for delicious local meals.

We were looking for a one off gem for a bit of chill out time and we chose right.
What a beautiful place. The pod is so unique and wow, what a view. Watching the sunset from a hot tub high up a hill, fabulous. It was everything we wanted and more. Our hosts were amazing. Lovely people and could not do enough for us. Also, the area around has so many things to do and places to visit, within an hours travel. Amazing place, great hosts, really superb break, can't rate it highly enough.

SLIGHT negatives first - beware of the stairs up to the bed, they are not easy to negotiate up or down, particularly when you need to get up in the night.
The microwave is not a combi oven, just a microwave. We had taken something to oven cook and couldn’t but on the plus side we found the local restaurant, The White House, do takeaway so unfortunately had to have that instead

! From the minute we got there we were just taken back by the friendliness of Ali and the info he gave us. The pod itself is magical and really is nothing like you would have stayed in before. The view is awesome and on a clear day to see snowdonia is brilliant. The hot tub is the icing on the cake and after a long day exploring all the sights and recommendations from Ali it is the perfect way to unwind and just take the view in at night with the lights lit up. We absolutely loved our stay and would totally recommend staying here! Thank you for having us.

Kitchen facilities were great with everything we needed and everywhere was spotless. Owners were really helpful before and during our stay which we really appreciated. Cannot fault the place, location is great. Would highly recommend for romantic getaways. Owners are lovely people and not intrusive, they literally cannot do enough for you. Our first time in a pod like this and it was gorgeous. So well presented, the view was amazing, and the hot tub was so nice. Ali and family are so lovely, helpful, welcoming. We're already looking forward to our next visit. We'd highly recommend it to anyone. We'd also recommend the Dinorben Arms about 15 minutes drive away, amazing food, lovely atmosphere. If we lived locally we'd be regulars.

! This was the most amazing stay, the pod was absolutely gorgeous and so different to others. Very romantic and the hot tub was amazing with the most gorgeous views. The location was brilliant, so many things to do near and around and a hand guidebook in the pod to help further if you are looking for any ideas. The owners are so lovely and welcoming, were there if you needed any help or had questions. Looked after us well, and made sure we had the most amazing stay possible. If you are looking to book here, trust me do it!! You will have the best time, I already want to go back!

The owners were lovely, Ali greeted us on arrival. He offered us recommendations of places to visit and eat. The pod was well equipped and a great size. The views from the hot tub were breath taking. Highly recommend watching the sun rise & set, it was beautiful. The Dinorben Arms was a beautiful place to eat just a short 10 minute drive away which we would highly recommend. We would love to come back in the future and would highly recommend to anyone considering a stay here.

We booked this lovely pod for our first wedding anniversary.
The pod was very clean, tidy and comfortable. The hot tub was perfect for the 2 of us, and the views when sat in the tub was simply stunning. We had a lovely bottle of prosecco on arrival, 2 beers, chocolates etc, all provided the owners, which we thought was very kind and thoughtful. The pod had all amenities..TV, shower, fridge, kettle, microwave, cooker etc. On the mezzanine there is a lovely big comfy bed. Off road parking was very handy. The owners provide lots of guidance via the handbook about places to eat, things to do etc locally. They also keep in touch via text, checking in to make sure you're comfy and don't need anything. All in all, 10 stars from us. We would definitely return. Thank you Ali & Anna x
A fantastic and impressive glamping pod with magnificent views of Snowdonia and the coast .
The pod was fully equipped with everything we needed and the bottle of prosecco and beers waiting for us on our arrival was a very nice touch (as was the milk ,butter bread and Welsh cakes !) It was very easy to find and in a great location for sightseeing and visiting various attractions. Ali was extremely helpful in recommending local pubs , restaurants and places of interest to us. We would definitely visit again.

Amazing property, beautiful countryside views, great location.
The lodge was so cosy and comfortable, we loved the wood-cladding interiors and its unique character. The hot tub at night was spectacular, with the panoramic views over Wales. Allan and Anna are lovely owners, nothing was too much trouble and helped to direct us when we were lost in the taxi on the way to Offas Dyke. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return! :)

Breathtaking views, private, and every little thought has gone into making you feel welcome from day one. Hosts were fantastic with some great recommendations on where to go, what to see and where to eat. If you want a break away from it all, then this is a definite place stay! 100% worth more than 5 stars
We spent 4 days here and it was perfect,we didn’t want to go out exploring so we just enjoyed the hot tub and relaxed in front of the tv!
The little hamper of goodies was thoughtful also and we enjoyed the processo! We were both totally mesmerised that the bedroom tv comes out of the floor

Perfect hot tub to sit and look out at the amazing view . Comfy and cosy with well thought out amenities.The stairs to bed are very different and a challenge but we expected them … comfy bed too. Loved feeding and watching the birds as well, directly out the vast window . Note though the listing states combi oven/microwave and it is only a microwave, didn’t bother us but might be misleading to others. Sad to leave this wonderful place when we had to as so relaxing.

I simply cannot fault this property.
I booked this for my partner's 40th birthday treat and it delivered on every level. The views are absolutely stunning even if the weather isn't on your side (saying that we were lucky enough to have some overnight heavy rain which was so wonderful in the cosy bed near the ceiling). Ali and Anna are so helpful whenever you need them and they provided such a thoughtful little hamper of treats and essentials on arrival which was perfect for the hot tub the first evening. The views from the hot tub are also exceptional and the bird feeders are just the perfect touch to the sense of being enveloped by nature. 5 star blessed holiday from start to finish. Thank you
This place was a little piece of heaven, a great little getsway that was close enough to everything if you want to venture out, whilst being secluded enough from everything if you wanted to just enjoy peace, quiet and the stunning view.

The best staycation we have ever been on!
We were completely blown away by the facilities, the beautiful decor, the stunning views and the hospitality that the owners provided. We had asked for something extra special for a 30th birthday such as flowers, a card and a cake - They accommodated these extra requests and went above and beyond to make our stay so special. Their eye for detail is something to be admired - From the cute signs to the mugs and the extra added bits in the fridge that make you feel appreciated and welcomed. It well exceeded our expectations and we would not hesitate to book again. Fantastic value for money and the location is beautiful. We cannot thank you both enough for such an amazing stay. Highly, highly, highly recommended!!

Outstanding views from the hot tub and also when having breakfast outside the window. The pod was amazing and surprisingly spacious and well thought out from the bed location in the loft and space in the living room. The hosts were fantastic and Ali made every effort to ensure our stay was the best and giving all inside information on the best places to visit local to the area. Outstanding host .

We loved the hot tub. The steps to the property were challenging but felt easier as the week progressed. Going to bed was also an experience. However we did know that it would be. A fun week for us. Thankyou.

Had a lovely stay at Offas Dyke Escape, however did struggle with the lack of storage spaces in the kitchen and for items such as clothing.
All the cupboards in the kitchen were full meaning our food had to be left on the side and would often get too warm due to the sun. Also the listing states that there is an oven/microwave combi and on arrival this was not the case it was just a microwave. The hot tub was lovely and the views were stunning. Also loved the little welcome hamper we received, very appreciated.

Every detail was thought about, from the supererogatory facilities to recommendations suited for all reasons for travel. The decor is the best for a miles and would suit anyone’s tastes. Things like the cedar wood finishes on the outside to the homely utensils are subtle but make a noticeable difference to the overall atmosphere. There was not a single stress our whole stay and we would love to stay again.

Totally unique and quirky. Lovely hamper on arrival, pod was nice and clean and the owners were super helpful with local recommendations. The view and surrounding countryside was fabulous. The addition of a hot tub made this stay extra special. It had everything you needed for a mini break great place to relax and recharge.
We had the best time at Offas Dyke Escape.
It is exactly as pictured. The cabin has been done out to a very high standard and the views as breathtaking. We watched the sunset every night from the hot tub, what more could you want. We did Snowdon whilst here and also visited Chester and Chester zoo so a great base if you want to incorporate other things in but you could easily spend the whole time here chilling - which I think we would do next time after a busy one. Ali greeted us when we arrived and was the perfect host, gave us lots of recommendations on places to go and eat and really friendly. They also provided lots of little touches that you don’t get at a lot of places like robes and slippers, Prosecco, beers, bread, butter, even Welsh cakes which I tried for the first time and were lovely! Thank you so much for having us!

If you’re looking for a relaxing break away with beautiful scenery, I would definitely recommend. After climbing Snowdon, the hot tub facilities were perfect to unwind and relax. Every previous 5 star review was the break we experienced. The views were stunning day and night (from the hot tub), the Pod was querky and every little detail had been considered by the owners to make it a high end, relaxing, memorable getaway. Central to plenty of places to visit and eat. We found the owners extremely hospitable, friendly and passionate about their Pod. We will definitely be visiting Offas Dyke Escaspe again.

A lovely property with stunning views.
The area is beautiful. We stayed during a heat wave and the hot tub became a very refreshing cooling off tub when the thermostat was turned down. The owners were very friendly and helpful. You do need to be fit though as there are 30 fairly steep steps up to the property. Well worth the effort!

This pod is a little gem and with the hot tub you couldn't ask for more.
It's so cute with everything you could need, the cold welcome beers in the fridge was a really nice touch. The towels were really soft and you get dressing gowns and slippers, they go the extra mile. The views are stunning. We loved our stay. The owners are really friendly and the food we got from the Blue Lion and Whitehouse Hotel was totally divine.
Spectacular property, a perfect view and more!
Anna greeted us upon arrival, she was lovely and very welcoming! If you're after a relaxing hideaway, look no further. The area has plenty of activities to do, from Local Pubs & Amenities, Spa Locations to nearby Coastal Towns. The hosts provided a very useful tourist guide to the area if you're undecided about your plans. There's not too much to take away from the location. Everything is laid out beautifully. *Throughout the day the pod does get hot with a lot of coastal sunshine. My partner and I visited in early July, so we had the entire summer effect. You are provided with a fan, but it's a very tough battle for it, even with windows open. Once the sun set, it was very homely. The hot tub was a godsend. It was the perfect addition to the day especially if you take a long walk around Snowden. *Whilst in the tub we often found the table umbrella being whisked away from the base in slight breezes. We ended up keeping it down because it wasn't a one-time occurrence. As a result, it did make the sun shine very harsh. Aside from those nit-picky things, we had a fantastic stay and we'd love to return another time!
A beautiful property and the views from it are stunning.
The owner Ali was very welcoming and helpful. There are plenty of places to visit within a short driving distance though we could have easily spent all 3 days just relaxing at the lodge. Highly recommended and we'd love to return for another visit sometime.
Perfect little hideaway!
We had a lovely few days here in June. Beautiful location, exactly like the pictures and also very peaceful. The owners had thought of everything so the kitchen and shower is very well equipped with all of the essentials. Would love to visit again soon.
We had a wonderful stay at Offa's Dyke.
The owners are really kind & happy to help in any way. Lovely touches at the pod with bathrobes, slippers, bread, biscuits, butter and milk. Views are amazing over Snowdonia park. The pod has everything you need for a lovely, peaceful break and the hot tub is wonderful to step into at the end of the day, to just rest back to look out at the spectacular view. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this area, lots of places to visit and different things to do in the surrounding area.

Beautiful property with lots of thoughtful extras that are not detailed in the listing. The location is picturesque especially from the hot tub at night. The owners Anna and Ali were always on hand if needed. Didn't want to leave and come home.

We spent a week at Offas Dyke Escape, the location is fantastic with loads to see and do nearby.
The views are amazing, you can see for miles, it is particularly beautiful at sunset. Ali and Anna were great hosts the pod is really well equipped, robes, slippers and a welcome pack which included a bottle of Prosecco was a real treat. The hot tub is a great place to admire the view from. We really enjoyed watching the birds feeding right outside the window every morning too. The Wi-Fi connection was great too. Ali gave us some really good recommendations for places to visit, we didn’t manage them all this time so will have to return.

The hot tub with the stunning view across the North Wales countryside was incredible - an ideal way to end a long day exploring the surrounding area. The pod has everything you need for a prefect stay. Very clean, very modern and very well thought out. The hot tub is perfectly placed for beautiful views. I particularly loved the swing seat, so relaxing in the morning with a coffee or at night with a gin! On arrival you will find treats and snacks. Ali and Anna the owners are welcoming, friendly and helpful. WiFi and TV is good, you have the option of logging into your Netflix account. Robes and slippers are provided which is a great idea. Overall we had a relaxing break in perfect accommodation and have recommended to family and friends.

The pod itself was stunning and cosy. Ali was so welcoming throughout our stay and advised us on local restaurants and sites that were beautiful. The location was great and to come back after a day of adventures to the hot tub was the best way to end the day.

Ali is a wonderful host! He was helpful, friendly and gave good recommendations on sites to go and see whilst in wales . Ali & Anna have thought of everything, from Prosecco , butter and milk in the fridge to ice in the freezer and even tea bags ! Hot tub was clean and so nice to end a day out in. We will definitely be returning !

The view from the property was fantastic, we were able to see snowdon and the castle where I’m a celebrity is filmed. The property was fully equipped with everything needed including the host leaving snacks and drinks for our arrival. I would definitely recommend!

The hot tub is a bonus and we enjoyed a few glasses of wine in it watching the sun set. Lovely owners who gave us lots of ideas on places to visit during our stay but then left us to get on with our holiday.

The location is great and the views are spectacular. It really is a romantic escape. Friendly hosts Ali and Anna are attentive without being intrusive. only thing I think you need to make clear is that there are approximately 20 steep steps up to the property and a fairly awkward staircase up to the mezzanine. Would be tricky for anyone with walking difficulties

We mentioned the mattress on the bed, although new, was very soft - bingo they have took our feedback and ordered a more supportive one. Views to die for, you can't beat watching the sun disappear over the Great Orme with a glass of something in your hand. All the facilities in the lodge are top quality with everything thought out. A local pub will come and get you if you book. Well done and we will be back.
My friend and I stayed in August and this was a brilliant staycation.
Ali, the host, was fantastic! He was helpful and provided great recommendations about restaurants and things to do locally. The pod was clean, modern and idyllic with a beautiful view overlooking Snowdonia national park which is approximately a 45 min drive away. We will definitely be visiting again and would recommend to everyone!

When arriving we were greeted by the owner who had good knowledge of the area and made some suggestions for days out etc, upon entering the pod we were pleasantly surprised to find milk, bread, tea etc. A perfect start to our honeymoon - setting the tone for our week away. Location is very accessible to many places. A lovely place and we would defiantly return.

The cabin was breathtaking and our hosts Ali and Anna went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. The small touches they've made to the cabin such as the pop up TV went down very well not to mention the absolutely amazing private hot tub which was just perfect! The views from the cabin are beyond belief with a beautiful overview of the North Wales horizon. If you're looking for a luxury break away from everything (and everyone) and with wonderful, professional and easy to deal with hosts, Offas Dyke Escape is definitely for you. The whole holiday, from initial booking to final checkout, was first class.
The hut was immaculate and exceeded my expectations; it’s really well equipped and they have spend money on ensuring that guests have the best of everything. The welcome pack was well received, especially after a long drive - lovely biscuits, tea, coffee, beer and wine. The hosts communicated with us in advance and made us feel really welcome. The views are spectacular, especially when sat in the hut tub! It’s within reach of a wide range facilities so there will be plenty for you to do. We went to zip world and go below, again, but were great fun. I’ll be booking again and honestly, can’t recommend this place enough. 10/10, in all regards. Book now and you won’t be disappointed.

The views from the pod were amazing. We were blessed with beautiful weather which meant we could sit inoors ( or outside at the table or on the swing) with the doors wide open and watch the sunset. It felt very private but the owners Ali and Anna were to hand if we needed anything, otherwise we were left alone for blissful relaxation. Ali suggested some lovely walks , places to visit and places to eat The location has easy to access from the main A55 across North Wales so visiting places was easy. The hot tub was very welcoming on the cooler days - the huge bath robes were very comfy after a soak! Thank you Ali abd Anna for a lovely week and hopefully we will return at some point

The views from the pod are amazing, the hot tub is a good addition and an added bonus; where you are surrounded by woodland and gardens. The hosts were second to none, very helpful and go out of their way to make you comfortable and feel at home. I fully recommend a visit to Offers Dyke Escape you will not be disappointed.
Due to current coronavirus restrictions, my wife and I opted to stay here for a week for our honeymoon and wow, what a great choice that turned out to be.
This is the perfect place for couples to get away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life and relax and I couldn’t recommend staying here highly enough. The pod itself has everything you need for a short stay and is very impressive once inside. However it is the view that really steals the show, on a clear day you can see for miles, with views of snowdon and the sea both clearly visible from both inside and outside of the pod. You can spend many an evening in the hot tub watching the sun set with a glass of something. It is a great location for all of north Wales attractions. There is also a great restaurant/pub called the White House within 10 minutes walk and the restaurant also has a spa on site which is well worth a visit during your stay here. The owners are fantastic, they can’t do enough for you and make sure you are having a great stay. For us, this is a place we could see ourselves coming again and again for a short relaxing break and we very much look forward to coming here again in the near future!

Offa’s Dyke Escapes is an example of exceptional holiday accommodation, the pod itself is designed beautifully with attention to detail in all areas. Our hosts left very kind offerings for us which made us feel so welcome. The hot tub is the perfect addition to this incredible stay, allowing you to relax and take in the breathtaking views which greet you each morning. My husband and I have stayed in many air b and bs and rental cottages, but this place was by far the best we have ever been to and I have told everyone about it, and that everyone should stay here! Gorgeous hosts, perfect location and a highly memorable stay.... we’ll be back.
First impression of this cottage was amazing just how brochure described.
Bathroom was clean and functional with a heated towel rail which was handy. Hosts were friendly and had clearly gone to great effort to make sure the accommodation was COVID safe.
Offas dyke escape was outstanding accommodation with extremely friendly and helpful owners.
I will be recommending to friends to visit. The views were exceptional and the pod itself was superb
