Elliw

We chose Elliw as we were bringing my elderly parents for a holiday and wanted everything to be on one level.

The lodge was in a great position with lovely views over the farmland. Inside the facilities were excellent and the lodge was well equipped. Lovely patio area outside with the benefit of a covered hot tub which we used on an evening. Used the lodge as a base to explore inland as well as the coast near Llandudno. Country lanes to the lodge are very narrow…1 vehicle width in places but we found these roads to be relatively quiet with reasonably spaced out passing areas. We used google maps to find the lodge initially and this was invaluable as there are no road signs and we would probably have struggled had we not used this method. We would recommend this lodge to anyone wanting to get away from it all.

Excellent Place to stay, Very very clean throughout, comfortable beds, Beautiful views. Enjoyable Hot tub. Even the cows came over when we arrived. All in all we had a wonderful stay at Alliw. Thanks so much. And thanks for the lovely welcome pack.

We stayed at Elliw in April & had the best,most relaxing of stays.

Can't add much more to the previous positive reviews (there are even more in the guest book). If you are looking for a combination of solitude & luxury but still being within easy reach of a number of interesting places to visit, then don't hesitate to book Elliw.

If you want a relaxing quiet break this is the place to go.

We didn't see a sole all week. Lovely visit from the friendly cows every morning though which was great. Very clean and comfortable accommodation in a lovely part of Wales. Just a short drive into Ruthin. Just a few things to note for anyone looking to book....the place gets quite warm and no fans provided so maybe take your own especially if its warm weather. Also it states towels provided....it is just 1 large towel each and no hot tub towels so again take your own. Lastly if you are a smoker or indeed vape...please be aware you aren't allowed to do either even outside.....not even vape sat in the outdoor space which we found a bit too strict and we dont even smoke or vape......but could spoil the holiday for someone that does as this isn't made clear on the listing...it just says smoke free which one would always assume meant inside the property which goes without saying

Honestly could not recommend this stay enough, We pulled up and was greeted by the gorgeous views and even a hello at the fence by the cows, this filled my friend’s little boy with absolute joy.

Everything we needed was there and the morning and evening views while relaxing in the hot tub didn’t get old. I honestly couldn’t recommend this stay anymore and we will definitely be back in the future. Thank youu so much!

Everything was perfect!

We have stayed in many cabins and cottages around England and Wales and Elliw surpasses them all. The cabin was equipped with everything you could need, clean as a pin and warm and welcoming. There was even a welcome pack of crisps, welsh cakes and a bottle of prosecco! The hot tub and the views were incredible. Definitely our happy place.

This was our second stay and we were not disappointed.

The care and attention given to the cabins by the owners is exceptional. On arrival, the cabin was spotlessly clean. A lovely welcome basket, fresh milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and sugar ready for a brew. The cabin is beautifully decorated, to a very high standard. Crisp white bed linen, fluffy towels, toiletries provided, just perfect. The hot tub is wonderful after a day out exploring. Sitting looking at the stars, heavenly! We have really enjoyed our stay and are returning home completely chilled out, relaxed and refreshed. All in all a really wonderful break, just wish it had been longer! Would not hesitate in recommending Wern Meadow, it really is a little piece of heaven.

This property is so lovely, my parents can't wait to book again for the summer, so private.

Elliw is situated in a lovely setting with fantastic views across Welsh countryside.

The accommodation was comfortable, clean and suited our requirements of two en suite bedrooms. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. The hot tub is very spacious and one of the best we have enjoyed after a days sightseeing.

Brilliant property with stunning views.

Really well built lodge. Would be handy if there was a large bin for general waste and possibly a couple of fans for bedrooms over summer months. Other than that we can't fault anything! Will 100% be recommending and hopefully returning. Thank you so much :)

Enjoyed our stay very much.

Extremely relaxing and nice to be in the middle of the countryside with wonderful views. The owners were very nice and always available.

The holiday home was absolutely great it was clean, very comfortable and had everything you would have in your own home.

It was in a beautiful setting and was very peaceful. It was a perfect base for travelling around visiting the places of interest. We would have stayed longer but it was already booked for the next week.

We had a fantastic stay, the place was spotless, cosy ,and had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable break.

The hub tub was a really high light - perfect for unwinding and soaking tired mussels after a day out on the trails, all while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. the location was ideal for MTB, with easy accesses to great spots. what really made it special was how helpful and friendly the hosts were - they even kindly help us out when with had and issue with our bike rack. It is those thoughtful touches that makes a place stands out. we would stay again and again and we highly recommend it to any one who are looking for a great place to stay. thank you so much we will see you next year!!!!!!!!!!!

We had an amazing time at Elliw.

We had a lovely welcome pack upon arrival and a lovely warm lodge to step into. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. We loved waking up the the stunning views and saying hello to all the animals who came up to greet us each day. The hot tub was lovely way to end the evening before cosying up in front of the log burner. We thought a lovely cosy corner sofa would work really well in the space too.. and just elevate the cosy and comfort of the lodge.

the property was fantastic with wonderful views and very quiet and relaxing, being only the birds and farm animals you can hear when outside it was very well equipped and the furnishings were very nice and homely it was great to relax in the hot tub and very cosy with the log burner on a cold winters evening some shelves in the bathroom would be a great help as there is no where to put your toiletries other than that the property was perfect

Just returned from our short stay at Elliw which provided the perfect retreat after a busy Christmas.

The lodge was beautiful and looked just like the photos, spotlessly clean with lovely furnishings and a cosy feeling throughout. The underfloor heating ensured the place kept warm despite the cold winter weather, and the hot tub was bliss to return to each day. Elliw is set in a rural location, on a working farm, with a lovely unspoilt view of the fields. The postcode provided took us straight to the lodge although some of the country roads aren't for the faint-hearted! We're so glad we chose Elliw for our 'twixmas' family break - we'd recommend it to anyone!
