Lovely, clean lodge.

We really enjoyed our stay there. The enclosed garden was great for the dogs and the countryside was beautiful. Would definitely like to stay there again.

Very clean well equipped lodge.

Very peaceful just birds and cows for neighbours. If you want somewhere peaceful and quiet to stay this lodge fits the bill not too far from shops and attractions. Had great fun watching house martins build nest on broom head .

We so enjoyed our stay at the Lodge-a perfect location for us.

Everything we needed was provided. The instructions for finding the property were accurate! We loved the animal themed decor and choice crockery too. It was exciting to see the planes from RAF Valley flying nearby. There is so much to see in Anglesey! Thank you!

Ffwrd Lodge suited us perfectly for our weekend in Anglesey Great to have 2 bathrooms and a bedroom each and the open plan kitchen diner living room was perfect.

It has a nice light airy feel and in warmer weather we could have made use of the garden ...

Our second visit, loved it again.

Spacious enough for grand parents, us, our young daughter and dogs. Lovely accommodation, very clean, warm in any weather and fantastic views. You can see both the sun set and sun rise, and the occasional hare in the fields. Everything you need as a base to explore Anglesey or hide away and chill.

Stayed here last week and although the weather was not the best we had a lovely stay in the lodge, location was great its quiet and peaceful but only a few minutes from the a55 which takes you into holyhead where you can find the major supermarkets.

The lodge was very clean and well kept with everything we needed for our stay, we would happily stay here again

We wanted a peaceful stay and we did get one, only a couple of problems that need attention firstly no welcome pack ie milk tea and coffee.

Dust on lights and the vents really do need a clean.most of all we were getting bit to death by midges.thats the reason we had to leave a day earlier than planned, just one more thing if you look at the tv screen you will see streak marks left because of not being properly cleaned. other than that a peaceful stay.

Ffrwd lodge is a spacious and well equipped lodge in a lovely countryside location situated a 10 min car ride from Rhosneigr .

Well we have had a fantastic time at Ffrwd Lodge, as soon as we pulled onto the driveway complete peace, birds singing and the views were beautiful, on turning the key what a well equipped comfy warm lodge only a 50 minute walk into Rhosneigr through beautiful countryside passing the maelog lake, either turn left for the friendly oyster catcher restaurant great food and drinks or venture over the dunes to the beautiful sandy beaches and wonderful walks .

it's a dogs paradise, the burial mound is a must do walk, such fantastic views, and on the other side RAF valley were planes and jets are. Flying daily, we have really enjoyed our time at Ffrwd Lodge thank you for a wonderful comfortable holiday.

just what we hoped for spotless, warm, well equipped and easy for me to get around as I am disabled. The steps up to the lodge are quite steep and the steps and decking were a bit slippery when wet but we managed. Our first holiday for 5 years since I had a stroke and I can say a happy.time.

Excellent facilities, especially in the kitchen.

Very spacious and clean. Maybe ready for a little end of season TLC (cleaning of extractor fans, radiators in bathroom/bedroom, a lick of paint on doors/frames). However this did not detract from our enjoyment of the lodge and is just for constructive feedback. Peaceful location overlooking fields, a 50 mins walk to Rhosneigr. Excellent Wifi and TV package. Fantastic to be able to secure both the decking and the garden. There is also a charcoal BBQ. Finally the little 'Welcome' goodies were a lovely touch! Thank you.

The en suite shower is missing a door seal to prevent leakage behind sliding door.

The shower head rail is dangerously loose.

Beautiful location, you need transport as very rural and quiet but close enough to beaches, restaurants, shops and attractions, makes it a lovely place to stay .

Very homely and comfortable, our 5 year old grandson loved it and so did we. Second time we have been and very reluctant to leave . Thank you

Loved it.

The views are spectacular and in every direction. We stayed as 4 adults and a toddler (and 2 dogs) and there was plenty of space for all of us. Great to be able to close the veranda off and also choose to enclose the garden separately. It was such a brilliant week, already looking to book again!

We had a wonderful weeks stay, with everything we needed.

The property is perfectly equipped. It was beautifully clean, from kitchen to bedrooms to bathrooms. I would also highly recommend a stay here due to proximity of property…absolutely perfect many thanks.

Great location and the views were amazing been travelling to Anglesey since I was a kid and love the beaches, and your cabin will be my new go too.

We found the lodge to be clean, warm, cosy and comfortable.

It is very well equipped. The power shower in the en suite is marvellous! The views of the countryside all around the lodge are beautiful. We appreciated the Welsh cakes and delicious bara brith! The lodge is well situated for exploring the area, though Anglesey is easy to explore, wherever you stay. We were lucky with the weather and saw Rhosneigr beach in beautiful sunshine. We had a great week at Ffrwd Lodge, and would very happily stay again. Many thanks.

Firstly I have to say what a beautiful place, with a bit of tlc this place would be outstanding!

We had a fabulous stay. The lodge was reasonably clean few cobwebs here and there especially in the hallway and as stated the kitchen is well stocked however they is quite a few plates, bowls, cups and the tea pot with chips in, not a 100% hygienic using crockery with chunks missing. Also I would definitely get someone in to assess the main bathroom floor it's extremely soft under foot especially along the side of the bath, little unnerving when kneeling down to bath a toddler. Finally I would like to add from a safety point of view I'd look into having a convexed mirror put up opposite the driveway, we was very nearly taken out by a car bombing down the lane the entrance sits in quite a blind spot so you have to edge your way out to see if it's clear. Overall though it was hands down one of the nicest places we have stayed, we loved waking up and seeing cows in the next field, the property has a nice flow to it it was light, airy and very comfortable. We had a lovely week and we would happily book it again on the future. Thank you very much xx

This property has the potential to be great, it’s in a really nice location and is very peaceful.

Great for watching the planes from the raf base. It’s spacious for a lodge and the shower was great, enclosed small garden which was perfect for the dog and veranda to relax on. However, it’s tired and needs some attention. On arrival it was tidy, but not cleaned properly. The garden was overgrown and outside space covered in cobwebs. Sykes assistance and communication regarding our concerns was poor and after initially saying they would rectify this, it didn’t materialise, we had to clean inside and out (inc mowing the lawn) before feeling it was a standard we could use it. The property itself was positioned well where we could easily access the island. Wifi at the property is sketchy. Comfy sofas in the lounge for chilling after a day at the beach.

After many years renting holiday properties I can ensure you that Ffrwd Lodge is one of the best.

It is so peaceful with countryside views from every window and is spotlessly clean. All the equipment is of the highest standard and the owners have thought of everything you could possibly need.The small garden is safe for dogs if the gate is closed.We had a slight problem and Louise was with us within 20 minutes to solve it. What service! We cannot recommend this property highly enough.

We had a great week here, the chalet had everything we needed, beds were comfortable and the shower was great.

We liked the privacy of the location and the room to park several vehicles. So cold in first few days we used the electric fire- in June. Weather improved after that.

This lodge is in a perfect location with everything provided for you including nice welcome pack.

Very comfortable and spacious. The Ninja air fryer was really good. Helpful owners. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely property really clean and tidy the welcome gift was appreciated on arrival The only issue was the WiFi stopped working the owners son was acting caretaker who tried to fix the problem for us on a few occasions worked for a bit but eventually it wouldn't work at all so had to leave a day earlier due to my daughter as she couldn't do her college work it was really sad as we really enjoyed our stay just want to say thank you for trying to fix the situation but to no avail but would recommend as the problem would be sorted and I would go again

This was our third year of staying in the Lodge (with one year prior to that staying in the cottage) and once again we absolutely loved it.

It feels like coming ‘home.’ Facilities are great; they’ve even added an air fryer! Bedrooms are comfy and a lovely size. Kitchen is really well equipped. The highlight of the stay for us is mostly always the games compendium!! From the Lodge it’s a five minute walk to the path that takes you into Rhosneigr and then to the beach. It’s a great base to explore the beautiful island.

A spotlessly clean lodge in a secluded location, ideal for exploring Anglesey’s spectacular West coast.

The owner Louise was welcoming and friendly and called to see if we needed anything. A gate has been installed across the drive way next to the lodge which makes the garden a safer place for a dog. The welcome pack was much enjoyed.

Great Lodge so well equipped , warm, comfortable and in a lovely quiet and peaceful location.

Louise introduced herself to us and it was a warm and friendly welcome, nothing was to must trouble. Will certainly return.

We have just enjoyed a holiday in this cottage and would definitely return.

It is ideally situated, clean, comfortable and peaceful. Great base for exploring the island. The gifts of bara brith and welsh cakes were a welcome touch and much appreciated. We would visit again and the children loved it.

If you like peaceful countryside this is for you, but nowhere is far away on Anglesey. Had a lovely week of walks and drives. Would go again.

Lovely chalet although a good deep clean is needed

Everything was fine,my only complaint is that we have always stayed in a cottage and this property felt more like we were staying in a huge caravan

Nice comfy cottage in good location for exploring all of Anglesey.

Lovely stay and amazing surroundings.

The only thing is that when we arrived at 5PM the cutlery was dirty and had to be washed, the plates and bowls the same. We washed the countertops and the kitchen roll was black when done. Not very clean at all.

This is the 2nd year that we have stayed at the Lodge, it is a fabulous setting, very quiet and tranquil but close enough to amenities.

The accommodation is clean and comfortable with everything you need.

We had a lovely experience staying at the lodge, we couldn't have wished for better accommodation.

Sometimes when you look at the pictures advertising accommodation you are a little disappointed when you get there, but the lodge was beautiful and well kept, a credit to the owners.

Arrived on Friday evening but unfortunately taken into hospital Monday morning and am still here!

Feel so sad that I didn’t get to experience the benefit of staying in this beautiful lodge for longer.

We had a wonderful time at Ffrwd Lodge and were fortunate to meet the friendly owners on the Thursday and have a chat.

A very comfortable, clean and well equipped place to stay in a beautiful setting. Some cold early mornings but the lodge soon warmed up when the thermostat was turned up! A very handy spot for visiting places and some beautiful beaches nearby. Having a dog with us, it would have been helpful if there had been a gate to the garden which was lovely to sit in during the evenings. We had to use the patio chairs to block the gap!

We had a lovely Christmas week at the lodge , lovely warm comfortable and cosy place to relax with our family.

It had everything we needed , very clean and lovely peaceful location. We would definitely love to return in the warmer weather to make more use of the outside space . I would highly recommend a stay here

A gorgeous place tucked away in a beautiful and peaceful setting yet close enough to Rosneigr to get the most of your days at the beach.

Our holiday was just perfect the lodge had everything we needed and more.

It was the holiday we all needed.

As a family this was our first visit to a Sykes cottages letting.

The booking process was easy, clear and accurate. The property ! Wow!!! air you are looking for an owner that cares about your holiday - look no further, very attentive and very prompt! The accommodation is nestled down A very quiet country Lane approx 1.5 miles from Rhosneiger, there is a gorgeous walk just 500 yards left out of the gates leading to a track to Rhosneiger that is mostly off road and wonderful for letting the dog off the lead safely, just lovely with the quietness only disturbed by the sound of the occasional jet coming into land at RAF Valley. The accommodation has great access and ample parking, sitting on the deck at night the only sound is the stream passing within a few yards of the lodge door. The main living space consists of a very well stocked kitchen, complete with dishwasher, a dining area that easily accommodates six and a very comfortable lounging area cantered around a large modern flat screen TV with Netflix and excellent WiFi. The bedrooms are comfortable and clean with lovely bedding ! The main bedroom is superb and the adjacent ensuit is just superb. The family bathroom with over bath shower was well stocked with towels and again immaculately clean! I can’t thank the owners enough, both for the pre arrival assistance and the very prompt attending to our every question ! We loved the lodge and will definitely be back - easy 10/10. Diolch un fawr. It was great just a few areas could be improved, it states the garden is enclosed, it isn't.

Also states near to coast path, it is a drive away, there are no walking paths next to the property that we could find. The kitchen was well stocked, could do with some egg cups but that could be us! The Lodge was warm and Louise the host popped in to check all OK, she'd left us some cake which was kind, Welsh cakes and Bara Brith obviously very welcome after a long journey. The Lodge was warm and although a problem with the door lock, Louise was very responsive and immediately sorted the situation for us. We struggled to find some subtle lighting and had to keep a main light on in the main room and bedroom, a little bright at times. Peace and tranquility was definitely provided, such privacy was welcome. The cows were our neighbours !!, scenic views and the planes an interesting addition each late afternoon when we returned to the Lodge from a days walking. We would book again,

This lodge was the perfect get away.

It was home from home. Exceptionally clean. Comfortable beds. Friendly owner who left us come Welsh biscuits and cake. Definitely recommended!

Excellent roomy and well furnished comfortable lodge.

With a great driveway and fields surrounding for cow grazing. We had a lovely comfortable stay and would recommend it without a doubt. The owners Louise & Tim were most helpful and friendly

We rate this 3 stars instead of the listed 4 stars on your website, as it has no washing machine, no extra storage for beach equipment and some amenities fridge (some rust inside) shower ( sealing needs replacing ) bath (panel kept popping off) single & bunk beds (mattresses) need replacing/updating. Anglesey is a fantastic holiday destination. We had a lovely time with our family.
