Easy to find, easily accessible, and well signposted.

The accommodation is lovely, very clean, private, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The views are perfect with plenty of beautiful sights to see. This was our second time staying here, and once again it didn’t disappoint. We would happily return.

The new lodge is superb - spacious, extremely comfortable, with wonderful views across the Welsh hills. We will be back!

Just enjoyed a week's stay in orchard lodge despite the gales and heavy rain we used the hot tube every evening.

The lodge was clean, warm and snug espically after getting soaking wet on our dog walks. Perfect place to unwind and just sit and take in the stunning view across the valley.

We enjoyed our stay so much we booked an extra night.

In terms of location you can't get better, the views and privacy were spot on. Facilities were great, the oven was so good we're going to buy the same model at home! The shower pressure was brilliant and the shower itself was huge. Beds were super comfy. Using a wood fired hot tub was new to us and took 24 hours to get used to it, but after that we actually preferred it to an electric one as it retains heat for longer. The tv set up was great and the sofa was really comfy. The coffee machine was a fantastic touch. The only thing we'd change is making the patio area secure for the dog to run around off lead, but it wasn't an issue as we just kept him on his long lead. He really settled quickly and loved the cows! We'll certainly be back. Fabulous holiday!

The location was perfect and we were totally relaxed. So private and peaceful.

Sykes need to state when the property is next to a farm/ likely to be near cows.

The flies were horrendous and this is the third time we’ve had this in Sykes cottages. Otherwise flat batteries in TVremote, hot tub thermometer was of wrong type and the water was much much hotter than it stated, dangerously scolding, there was no washing up liquid or toilet duck. All just little things but annoying.

Relaxing Family Escape to Orchard Lodge at The Hidden Meadow We had the most incredible stay at Orchard Lodge at The Hidden Meadow in Corwen – a true hidden gem tucked away in the most beautiful Welsh countryside setting.

From the moment we arrived, we were completely captivated by the peaceful surroundings, breathtaking views and the warm, welcoming feel of the lodge. Orchard Lodge itself was absolutely stunning – very modern, spotlessly clean, and designed with real care and attention to detail. Every room was beautifully finished and fully equipped with everything we could need. The views from every window were incredible, looking out over fields with lambs and hills in the distance making this the perfect escape from everyday life. Our days were a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. We enjoyed lazy mornings and spending our evenings having BBQs, toasting marshmallows around the fire-pit with hot chocolate. The hot tub was an absolute highlight – the perfect place to spend the day relaxing and unwinding after a day of exploring with those incredible views all around us. The location is ideal – secluded and peaceful, yet perfectly placed for exploring the local area. We visited the Rhug Farm Shop Estate, which was a real treat with its fantastic restaurant and children’s play area. A trip to Llangollen was a highlight too – we loved seeing the steam train and horse-drawn barge boats and our hike up to Castell Dinas Bran was well worth the climb for the views. Pontcysyllte Aqueduct was spectacular, and we also enjoyed the scenic Pen y Pygin walk in Corwen. One of the most memorable moments was watching the sunset over Bala Lake. One of the things we really appreciated was being able to bring our dog along – it made our family holiday complete. The doggy wash station was a fantastic touch, especially after our walks. While we made the most of exploring the area, we also found ourselves not wanting to leave Orchard Lodge. It was so peaceful, beautifully designed and had everything we needed to fully relax and reconnect as a family. We left with so many memories that we’ll cherish. Orchard Lodge really had everything we could want in a holiday staycation – and more. We’ll definitely be returning in the future and we’re so glad we found this special place.

The views are beautiful, very quiet and relaxing stay. The lodge comes with all you could ask for, very modern and the hot tub with the view is amazing. 100% recommend staying and we will be returning again ☺️

If you want peace, quiet and tranquility this is the place. We had a lovely relaxing week especially in the hot tub every evening. I would highly recommend this place.
