We stayed at Alpine lodge for a week and could easily have stayed longer.
It is a beautiful cabin with amazing countryside views. It shares an area with 2 other lodges but not crowded. Plenty of room for parking and beautiful surroundings. However the entrance to lodges from road is rather tight corner so take care. We met owner Steve, his daughter Laura and last but not least his amazing mother of 94 years, brilliant people x
Good clear instructions on how to get to the property, including a courtesy telephone call from the owner the evening before we were booked in for.
Clear instructions on how to use the TV, cooker etc. The lodge was spacious and very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It's quite close to a B Road, which is generally quiet. A mirror opposite the entry /exit would be useful as it's not easy to see both ways when leaving the site. We were surprised that there were no leaflets in the property to give ideas for places to visit during our stay, but that didn't spoil anything for us.
