Fulfilling your culinary needs is the sleek kitchen containing an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, as well as an island unit, where you can rest with a glass of wine as dinner simmers on the hob.
Formal dining moments can be enjoyed at the dining table, perfect for tucking into your home-cooked meal, toasting to a wonderful holiday, or playing one of the board games brought from home.
Completing the social hub of the home is the sitting area; grab your film snacks and snuggle up on the sofa before tuning into the TV to unwind before heading to bed.
The master bedroom comes with a plush king-size bed, as well as its own TV, whilst the twin bedroom is designed to suit younger guests of the group or two friends, but can also be made into a super king-size with the use of zip-linked beds, and this room also comes with a wall mounted TV.
Continuing to impress is the exterior, where table and chairs offer a space for alfresco dining, and the barbecue is great for rustling up something special during the summer months - there is also a large private shed where bikes and other equipment can be stored securely during your stay.
Savour a moment of relaxation by dipping into the bubbling hot tub and relaxing into your evening after a long walk in the countryside setting.

What guests are saying
We had a lovely weeks holiday in this lodge, it was very peaceful and quiet which we both enjoyed.
Everything you needed for cooking your meals was available in the lodge and we also appreciated the little treats which were in the fridge on arrival especially the bottle of freshly made apple juice which we both thoroughly enjoyed, it was very fresh and tasty... We would definitely return again sometime in the future.
A great Lodge all as stated in the guide.
Ali was very helpful, thanks.
We had a fabulous family holiday.
The accommodation was clean and comfortable and felt like home! The owner Ali came and said hello at the end of our stay but was easily contactable during our stay if we had any questions. They provided complimentary drinks and baked goods for our arrival. The accommodation was well located to the bigger cities such as York and Whitby and the seaside (Hornsey) was close by too! The added benefit of the hot tub was a lovely touch! We would definitely book again and recommend to friends and family. We don’t have a dog but it would be prefect for dog owners as there was lots of local walks Highly recommend
