Lovely little apartment!

Very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. Ample parking. Pub and beach just a short stroll away. We loved watching the house martins from the back patio. The grounds had lots of well kept paths for dog walking. Highly Recommended.

All you want for a week,only problem 4 hangers in the wardrobe.

We spent an enjoyable 6 nights at kittywakes.

The apartment is nice and cosy and had all the amenities we wanted. The Bay is a good base for everything and a short walk to the beach which stretches into Filey or to a lovely little cafe at Humnaby Gap. The only thing that wasn’t too good was the bed which we thought should be a king size but just our taste. Overall very good.

We have stayed on The Bay twice before so know our way round. This is the best apartment we have stayed in.

Although not a complaint I would have liked the bed to be a bit larger otherwise everything else was perfect for us.

Stayed at kittiwakes from Monday to Friday.

Location is very good with access to the beach which is easily accessible. The apartment has everything you need with outdoor seating in a quiet garden area. Would definitely return if visiting filey again.

We often stay at The Bay and this is the best property we have stayed at. Really clean and comfortable. Everything you need and ground floor so a little easier with a dog. Also a courtesy call before arrival from the owner which was kind too.

The property was excellent and well appointed and fully equipped.

We found the site very accommodating. My only slight moan is , apart from the fridge there is no place to store food, this is easily surmountable but meant loading the work surfaces. Never the less we had a good time and a comfortable stay

Apartment was as expected and advertised. Would recommend to anyone wanting a hood base for long cliff and beach walks

Stayed at kittiwakes for a last minute short break, the apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable, well equipped and warm.

The apartment was contemporary but cosy and had everything we needed. It was also more spacious than I had thought it would be - the rooms are a good size. The facilities on site are adequate. The pub, shop and pharmacy are just a few minutes away. The beach is the best part of a mile but well worth the walk. It is a perfect base for exploring the area and we would love to visit again!

Loved this apartment so much.

We go to the Bay 3 times a year and this property has everything you need. Like to thank the owner for the courtesy call he made to. Very nice touch. Facilities are amazing to given that this site does have Wi.fi problems sometimes. Not here. Would highly recommend and cant wait to say there again.

Clean cosy apartment, plenty of hot water plus shower powerful.

Parking right outside apartment and all information we needed was received well before our visit. Nice phone call from the owner to make sure everything was alright upon our arrival. Would definitely visit here again.

Great stay!

Every thing you needed was supplied. The sofa was extra comfy but the only issue was the mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. We stayed here 18 years ago and the apartment has been well looked after and we are looking at booking again in the autumn.

Property was great everything you could need and very pleasant .

Only slight criticism was the bed was not very wide and not very comfortable.

Ideal property for 2 people,comfy & nicely furnished.

only slight down side was that other properties have provided a welcome pack & pass to leisure facilities. The curtsey call from the owner was a nice personal touch. The bath was out of order but the shower was fine . Might be worth mentioning when booking if it's going to be a long term issue.

Great apartment just right for visiting Filey Bridlington and Scarborough and walks on the beach everything we needed, right by meadow and lake area for walking dog will return when we can

We could not fault kittiwake for any reason other than kitchen storage we think if it was our flat we would not have the washing machine but have more cupboard space this is our only observation, apart from that it is a lovely flat and of cause as before will always use sykes again

The bay was delightful first class apartment the village was of high standard the owner has got this just right for a very comfortable holiday will definitely stay again

We had a lovey stay at Kittiwakes and the host even contacted us to see if we had settled in and all was ok.

Just an idea maybe a broom and dustpan and brush especially when you have a dog just to sweep through. Thank you again.

We had a lovely 4 night stay for our 41st wedding anniversary, just the two of us and our little dog.

Directions given by the owner were very good and we found apartment without problem, good parking outside. All on ground floor with easy access. Cleanliness very good and apartment itself bright airy and modern with every home comfort provided. WiFi and TV both had good signal. The area itself is very well kept and quiet on a evening, a ten minute walk takes you to the beach which is perfect for walking dog. Had a fantastic stay, would definitely stay again and recommend to others .

The cleanliness of the place was awful, one bath towel for 2 adults for seven days.

No salt &pepper; pots the frying pan in the cupboard dirty,1small pot and a milk pan not enough to cook a meal. The dispenser drawer in the washing machine was disgusting we had to clean it. We were booked for 7 days left after 4 and went to a hotel. Which cost us more money. Very dissapointed.

Never really knew what to expect, but the property was very nice.

We will definitely request to book again. Generally everybody we met on site were friendly. The property is ideally situated, and the parking in front gives you peace of mind.

Place was great, just a few niggles first the shower needs a better screen the water just runs straight onto the floor, this will ruin the flooring, you can see it is getting under the boards.

The dvd player had no lead so you couldn’t watch it. The tumble dryer didn’t get warm or hot to dry your clothes. Would definitely recommend, we had a lovely stay

Would liked to have had some toiletries in the bathroom and more than one cheap toilet roll.

Also basics in the kitchen salt paper. It would help if you advertised that these are not included so that we could have brought our own for cooking The apartment was clean and a lovely environment. Great location. Had everything you needed for a short break apart from the above that I have stated
