In a word: Idyllic.
Basic but comfortable with everything you need and nothing you don't. A nice touch is the provision of fresh eggs, milk, bread etc plus tea / coffee. Cooking facilities consist of a combined mini-oven with 2 hobs - would be no good to cook a 5 course banquet but fine for a simple meal. Spotlessly clean with an excellent shower. View out over fields with ever-entertaining sheep and goats. No wifi or TV, but good phone signal, so if you must use your phone, it's fine. Shops 5 minutes away in Market Weighton, and the beatiful town of Beverley is only about 20 minutes drive. All in all, perfect for a peaceful break in the country.
Our stay at Beech Tree Cabin was perfect, exactly as described.
Couldn't fault it at all, it's a bit like glamping. The view from the cabin was beautiful, we thoroughly enjoyed watching the antics of the animals, especially the goats. Pete and Rebecca were really nice host's. The surrounding area was also beautiful with plenty of walks for our dog Rolo. Market Weigton is only 3 miles away with major supermarkets and lots of other shops. A perfect week with views and sunshine, we really enjoyed our stay. Craig, Liz & Rolo
We loved our stay at the cabin it was clean good quality towels, bed linen, plates, bowls, cutlery, mugs, glasses, etc.
We arrived to fresh uncut bread,6 fresh eggs, milk butter jam and honey. We was very comfortable in the cabin. We would of liked a small microwave and full length mirror and we didn't get to meet the owners but we had a great stay and loved Yorkshire.
