We loved the accommodation in every way, there was everything we needed to make our stay perfect.

The location of the flat at the Bay resort was brilliant. The property openers were very accommodating as well.

Property is in a great location, with all amenities on your doorstep.

The apartment is spacious and has everything you need for a short break. It was cleaned to a good standard, although we had to scrub the highchair before use. We would stay in this property again.

The flat is compact but had everything we needed, nice comfy bed and sofa, plenty of cooking implements and crockery for making meals at home and the shortbreads and dog biscuits were a lovely touch.

We were lucky to get the sun all day and spent a lot of time on the beautiful beach. Will definitely recommend to friends, thank you.

We have just had a fabulous home from home stay at Sunrise.

We had everything we needed, everything was clean and it was a lovely touch to find shortbread biscuits for us and treats for our dog. The leisure card gave us daily swimming sessions and the beach being a 5 minute walk away was just perfect. The only thing I struggled with was no kitchen cupboard space for our cereals, teabags etc.. as every cupboard was either an appliance or utensil storage but that is honestly not to be taken as a negative for this wonderful place to stay. We would look to return and hopefully bring the family with us next time.

What a perfect stay.

The apartment had everything that I needed. The apartment was clean, tidy and warm. We were staying incredibly close to the fantastic 5 mile long beach which we enjoyed every day of our stay. The doggie treats were appreciated by my spaniel, thank you. The apartment was also easy to clean through, as having my dog with us after enjoying our sandy walks. I don't think that I could have asked for any more and have already recommened the apartment to friends. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Absolutely cracking apartment.

Clean and tidy with all modern features. Having everything to hand was a god send, No stress, just pure relaxation. Excellent service and communication throughout. We couldn't have asked for a nicer holiday. We would definitely return here again. Just a short walk to the beach and something for the children close by at hand. Highly recommend.

Communication before arrival was great. Accommodation was cosy and perfect area.

Good spot to explore our favourite coastline, booked last minute to take advantage of the hot weather, great communication from owner, everything provided in apartment, clean and tidy, will definitely return in the future.

The apartment was fab!

Car parking was an issue with limited space close by but not all the time. But there is other parking available but my husband likes to be able to see his car. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment.

We have just had a week at this apartment and really enjoyed ourselves the apartment is in a great location so close to the pub, swimming pool, shop, arcade and only a short walk to the beach the apartment had everything you need and was very clean, we even got some biscuits left for us on our arrival which was a lovely touch.

The apartment was lovely, clean and as advertised.

It is situated in a fantastic area with just a short walk to the beach and all amenities needed on site. Both myself, my partner and our little puppy loved our time spent here and most definitely will be returning!

The location of this property is ideal, near the leisure centre and just a short walk from the beach.

The sofa was a bit uncomfortable and is not the one pictured on the website. The bed was comfortable but is very low to the floor so difficult to exit if you are tall. The flat is decorated in an attractive manner and looked clean when we arrived. On closer inspection, though, it was clear it needed a proper deep clean. There was extensive black mould in the washing machine, a deep line of grease/food waste in the dishwasher, a used pod in the Tassimo machine (which hadn't been cleaned), thick scale in the kettle, crumbs in the cutlery tray, men's beard hairs in the dresser drawers, a light bulb that was out, and the thermostat needed batteries so wouldn't work. We brought these issues to the attention of the owner and she said she would make sure the flat was in much better condition for the next visitors. This wasn't of any help to us, though, since her cleaner only works Saturdays and so wouldn't arrive until after we left. We reported these issues to Sykes as well but they said all they can do is pass them along to the owner, which we'd already done. We wouldn't return to this property because of all the cleaning we had to do (including buying kettle descaler) just to bring it up to a reasonable standard.

Bonus being able to use the swimming pool. Both beds just a little uncomfy.

Overall the stay was lovely, had a nice homely feel and looked exactly as advertised.

Was very clean and well equipped with the coast very nearby and a 5 min drive into Filey town. Although a large mirror in the bedroom would be a nice finishing touch. Would definitely recommend and would return

This is a lovely apartment, well maintained, spacious and comfortable.

It is opposite the pub and cafe and we thought it may be noisy but it wasn’t. Close to the beach and a lovely walk to Filey or the other way to Humanby and a very nice cafe. Really enjoyed the stay.

Lovely apartment was nice and clean, was surprised how well the kitchen was equipped with all the small bits like salt/ pepper, baking paper ect, the only small negative was we found the sofa a bit uncomfortable thou understood it was a sofa bed.

A super stay!

This apartment was a great base for exploring the area. We certainly weren't disturbed by noise from the pub, as after all the sea air we slept very soundly in the really comfortable bed. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

The apartment was well located, warm, clean and well appointed.

We really appreciated the clarity of the instructions regrading the key collection from the owners too. Everything was set up to enjoy a peaceful stay with a beach a few minutes' walk away!

Having stayed on the Bay many times in many different apartments, we will now always book this apartment as it is wonderful.

The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable and exceeded our expectations, and all the little extras in the apartment made our stay wonderful and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

Sunrise at The Bay Filey was a very comfortable stay.

The apartment was clean,well equipped and more than met our expectations. The bed was also very comfy and to blame for a few late starts to our days out :-). Parking was not an issue and there was no noise from the pub considering it was not far away.

This is a great place with everything you need ideally situated just outside of filey and is a great base to explore the area from.

Would definitely book again.

Easy access to the beach and other holiday towns like Bridlington, Scarborough and Whitby. Ideal area for walking the dog who also loved the sandy beaches.

We had a fabulous week in Filey Bay.

The accommodation was fantastic and facilities both in the apartment and the holiday village are first class, we used the lovely swimming pool and sauna everyday. There is plenty to do in and around Filey, and it is an ideal base to explore the area from. We definitely intend to come back, and have no hesitation in recommending it to anybody considering staying here.

The sunrise apartment was a superb location, opposite the leisure centre, the pharmacy (which sold extras such as bread and milk) the Italian (which was closed for refurbishment whilst we were there, unfortunately) and the pub.

Not too far from the gorgeous Filey beach. Such a lovely place.

The apartment that we stayed in was spotless and had all of the little comforts to make it feel like home.

We loved being able to walk a short way to the beach and having a swimming pool on site too! A lovely and calm atmosphere that made us feel throughout relaxed during our wonderful stay.

A lovely, comfortable, warm and clean, first floor apartment, ideal for breaks away with the pooch and family.

It is conveniently situated for lovely long walks on the vast beach or along the cliffs and around the flower meadow. The pool and other facilities are also easily accessible. Initially, we had concerns that the apartment would be noisy as it is directly across from the restaurant and pub. Noise, however, was minimal. Plus, the bedroom is at the back of the property and so it was extremely quiet, enabling a good nights rest. Parking is only allowed in the parking bays and NOT on the roadside. The bays closest to the apartment, however, were largely occupied and on occasion it was necessary to seek out a vacant space elsewhere on site. This only presented an additional short walk though and it did not spoil an enjoyable stay! Have stayed on The Bay several times and will return again soon!

Excellent location for relaxation beach is within easy walking distance ,dogs are welcome too.

Very quiet complex.

Flat had everything you would need cook meals and pub on site meals were lovely but drinks were a bit on the dear side. Walk down to beach was good only took ten minutes. I never used swimming baths but had a massage at the beauty parlour on site which was very relaxing. Overall a great holiday. The location is great as your very near to bridlington and Scarborough. Whitby is a bit further but well worth the ride out.

Great little flat, very clean and nicely decorated.

Perfect for our first holiday with a toddler, had everything we needed. Beach is beautiful! Owners were very accommodating and even left us some cookies. Staff on site were friendly and helpful. Pub across the road is cosy and does nice, reasonably priced food. We hope to come back soon!

Great holiday flat.

Located facing the chemist/restaurant/pub. Swimming pool & tennis courts located behind the restaurant. Beach short walk away. We all really loved the location, ideal for Bridlington & Scarborough. Great price, nice and clean what more can you ask for. Small charge for the swimming when splash inflatables is on but definitely worth paying for. Would recommend to others.
