“We found Holly Lodge to be clean and comfortable.”

The living room is spacious with a lovely leather sofa and two high back chairs. The dining table is well positioned to the nearby kitchen area. The oven was a good size and the two hobs were all we needed. The cupboards contained good quality plates, bowls and small mugs. We always bring our own condiments, washing up liquid and kitchen roll etc but they were also provided under the sink. The bathroom was clean and modern with a really powerful shower and the hot water came through very quickly. The bedrooms were clean with nice quality bedding. We particularly liked the heavy curtains which again were of really good quality and kept the sun out but would also be really cosy on a winter booking. The tv had freeview and it was a nice touch to have a small tv in the double bedroom, (although we didnt use it.) The site was clean and peaceful and in a great position for exploring nearby areas such as Whitby, Saltburn by the Sea etc. We had a good mobile phone signal in the Lodge and no issues using our data for Internet access. We didn't attempt to source any WiFi. We would definitely book Holly Lodge in the future should we holiday in this area again.
