lovely site, the pod had everything we needed, so clean and tidy and very quiet.

Beautiful campsite and the pod we stayed at was fantastic.

This property is fab, Poppy is a lovely modern glamping unit, it has everything you need.

Very modern and well equipped. Bed was comfy in our opinion. It was rather warm but then it was a very hot weekend, we needed lots of windows open overnight. Maybe a fan available might help. Also maybe a little more storage for clothes, especially if more than 2 guests We share the owners sustainability wishes, but we were unable to find the blue recycling bin they advertised. Nice little coffee unit on site, and just off the Transpennine Trail

Booked this for my elderly mam and dad - Can I just say I have never in my 57 years heard such delight from them during and after this stay.

They were amazed at the pod and had a fantastic time there and in the surrounding area. Thank you clean comfortable friendly highly recommended

Lovely site and accommodation, quite at this time of year (mid May) accommodation is ideal for 2 people, a bit tight for 4.

Supermarket Tesco less than a mile away. Recommend Whitehead and Lily's for fish and chips. Need instructions on how to use the microwave oven.

The mattress was very uncomfortable.

Very poor and low quality. A real pity as the pod itself was perfect. Spoiled our stay as we left a day early. Quite a few other negative comments relating to this in the guest book. Also had to change dates of booking a couple of times with atleast a month's warning between but was still charged a £30 admin fee each time, which I think was ridiculous.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Poppy some lovely touches included Tea/Coffee biscuits.

Cleanliness's superb. A shame we couldn’t use your little cafe as reviews we read were very complementary. But we left on Friday. The site was very well maintained and sign posted to walk into Hornsea. Only tiny criticism sign posted to the local pub needs changing as we walked 1 1/2 miles to find it has closed down,

Excellent experience, I’ve not stopped in a pod before.

Decor is minimalist to sophistication,the structural design is well thought to assist guests. A choice of light with glass frontage, makes possible to enjoy the view either from within or preferably to sit out. ‘ there is also seating area to each pod outside’ If required blinds and curtain to close for privacy. There are a few steps to the property, yet inside is one level ,if you struggle with disabilities ‘ maybe a ramp’ . The owners have done a marvellous job by maintaining and organising this place. I was particularly impressed with ‘only chemical free’ products are used for cleaning. There were other guests stopping in caravan’s, motor homes and tents. Although a busy time, the volume was low. Hence a peaceful nice atmosphere. White rose caters for all ages , families thus couples or single persons. Julie

Nice clean pod with everything provided as described.

Only issue was that the grassed area directly in front of the pods is a campsite so the nice view is spoiled by tents and cars and is used as a football pitch / play area by the campers which makes the experience considerably less peaceful and private.

We loved the pod and the location, there was me and my husband and our dog, it says you can sleep 4, as there is a bed seatea, but once that is pulled out, there is no room at all, so would not advise, also bit disappointed on the towels and sheets, they did not smell very nice, as if they were not washed/dryed properly, not nice.

Spotlessly clean. Pod was amazing, again spotless. Has everything you need for your stay. Staff are lovely, nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.

First time stopping in a pod it was exelent you had every thing you needed it was comfortable very clean and welcoming i would recommend this to everyone you would enjoy it .

the site manager was friendly and very helpful and nothing was to much for her. She made the experience more enjoyable

The pods are equipped with everything you need and very clean. The grounds are spotless and well maintained. The owner very friendly.

Had a fantastic stay at the poppy pod and enjoyed all the comforts , heating and extra cushions ect.

The place is situated just the correct spot for me, not direct in the centre of everything but close enough to get to everywhere needed. POD was spotless and couldn’t ask for anything more. Thank you for everything.

Love the touches like the pretty cushions and pictures on the wall. Everything there you would need for a lovely break. Location is fabulous for getting out and about too. We took our dog with us too, and it worked well for us. With it being end of October we took clothes etc for all weather, and that is the one thing that would have been tricky if we had got soaked in terms of where to hang things to dry off. We definately will go again. It does say sleeps 4 (pull out sofa bed) but I would say you wouldn't want 4 adults, but would work if two were youngish children or younger teens, as I think they would love the novelty of the Pod. Which, to be honest, was why I picked it too, being a bit of a kid at heart. Our first holiday taking our rescue dog, not sure how she would settle, but she loved exploring when we walked her round the site. If we had been staying longer and weather had been better, we would have used the footpath at the back of the site to walk to Hornsea and the beach

Lovely stay mattresses could do with addressing as you can feel the springs.

i would suggest to take a topper like we did ,as we saw feed bk about mattress before. But lovely place to stay lovely pod .would recommend, and would defo go again.

The facilities were very good immaculately clean, comfortable and had nearly everything you needed.

It was next to the pennine way which was brilliant if you have dogs. It wasn’t too far out of Hornsea but you definitely need a car to get out and about. Staff on site very friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to my friends which some are thinking of booking. The accommodation had everything you need bedding and towels provided. The only things I came across that I needed was a sweeping brush and pair of kitchen scissors to open packaging, there was actually a dust pan and brush provided but not good to sweep all the floor if you have a bad back, but this had no detriment to the holiday just I like to keep accommodation tidy whilst I’m there. Also I forgot my hair dryer and wasn’t one there. Fantastic holiday would go again.

Hello, we had a lovely week staying in one of your pods.

Location was spot on. Overall the pod was really lovely, comfortable, all the main things we needed the pod had. We spoke to a friendly and helpful woman who was working in the reception hut. She gave us a map that had a good description of the surrounding area and marked out where we were to walk to get to the seafront. Walk was really nice and kept us safe from the fast windy road. Just a couple of things we'd like to mention are: the mattress was not very comfortable, as you could feel the springs. It would be lovely if it could be replaced. A shower mat and additional hooks to hang your towels from in the bathroom and around the pod would have been a great benefit. We have already told our friends and family how lovely the pod and surrounding area was and recommended a stay to them :)

Poppy's is a lovely little pod on a beautiful site well located.

The owners are friendly and helpful and the site is a credit to them. Would love to go back.
