    “This was our second stay at holly edge and again we enjoyed our time there ...”

    This was our second stay at holly edge and again we enjoyed our time there however the property does need updating, Kitchen hob has a crack at bottom right hand corner, patio furniture is dated and worn, two of the chairs have broken arm rests, twin room has wall socked held on with black gaffer tape, both bathrooms have mould issues and smell of damp, double room has damp smell in wardrobe but no signs of damp, remote control for tv in lounge has been used so often that there is no print on ...

Saltburn-by-the-Sea 7.5 miles; Whitby 15 miles.

The small village of Moorsholm lies on the northern edge of the North York Moors National Park, between Guisborough and Whitby. A working village with a mix of traditional and modern properties and a church, the village is surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the moors, and is ideally situated to explore the nearby old spa resort of Saltburn-by-the-Sea and the pretty coastal villages of Staithes and Runswick Bay. The thriving market town of Guisborough lies only six miles away and a short drive south takes you to Sandsend and historic Whitby. There are many attractions around this beautiful area including the steam railway, Captain Cook’s birthplace, Danby Moors Centre and many pretty moorland villages. An ideal area to explore by foot or car.
