Lodge 18 - The Pines

The lodge was very clean, comfortable and spacious.

It had a very big fridge/freezer which was especially useful. We all had a wonderful holiday and would love to stay again

Lodge 18 was fantastic and had everything we required for a fabulous week.

The lodge was beautifull, would say its one of the best we have stayed in.

Didn't really cook as we went out for food but everything was there to cook a meal. A lovely place just to sit and relax on the new garden furniture. Hoping to go back in September. Denise & Alan

Great short break, the only negatives are shortage of kitchen equipment i.

e. only 2 wine glasses, one roasting pan and no sauce boat or jug. Would recommend.

Fantastic holiday at no 18 The pines close to the lovely Runswick bay which is dog friendly and a nice place to enjoy a drink overlooking the sea at the local pub.

Not far from some lovely places to visit will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at lodge 18, it was immaculately presented, comfortable and in a great location.

The welcome pack was a lovely surprise with some nice nibbles, tea and coffee. We will be booking this place again for next year. If you stay here or in the area, the Runswick Bay Hotel has a lovely range of beverages and the food is amazing for a very reasonable price.

Lovely Lodge.

It was an end of season stay so there were a few very minor issues. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful so I have no complaints at all. Would heartily recommend this accomodation.

We found Lodge 18 to be very clean and comfortable.

It provided us with everything we needed. Well positioned near to Runswick Bay Hotel that had good food. The beach and bay was great and dog friendly as was the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay, thank you.

The only slight criticism we had was sofa space. There were 6 of us and only room for 4 on the sofas as they are quite small. Two people were always having to sit on a dining chair or on the floor. Perhaps a couple of bean bags would work? Or an L shaped sofa?

We really enjoyed our holiday at Lodge 18 The Pines at Runswick Bay.

Everything at the lodge was exceptional from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended too by our teenage granddaughter and Jake our rough collie.

The Lodge was not as clean as previous stay.

Mouldy bread in cupboard Extractor fan filter in en- suite needs cleaning full of dust.

This is a lovely lodge that is stylishly furnished and has everything that you could need to enjoy a relaxing stay.

The property was really clean and we had a thoughtful message from the owners to tell us how to operate the dishwasher which was useful. Great location in a quiet park just a short walk from The Runswick Bay Hotel which quickly became our local and not far from the beach too. We have only been back a day but already planning our return!

A lovely, very spacious lodge on a well kept and quiet site.

The lodge is very toddler friendly. We would love to stay again. Thank you to the owner for a fabulous holiday!

Lovely Lodge - a couple of glasses missing but overall very good

The holiday lodge is in a lovely peaceful spot and tucked away.

It is lovelier than the photos and we all really enjoyed our stay. We just wished that we could stay for longer.

Light could be brighter outside near steps at front door.

Had amazing time at Lodge 18.

Just missing a measuring jug and bread knife. Definitely will return to this beautiful lodge. Very peaceful place to visit at the Pines.

Everything about this place oozes class. Quiet,gated site in a nice village. Dog friendly pub nearby and an awesome bay to boot.

Enjoyed everything about the property it's a credit to the owners, we love the area.

But it's a few years since we have have been able to come back. And are looking forward to coming back. Thanks Colin and Janet.

Lodge 18 was without doubt one of the cleanest properties we have stayed in!

It was well laid out and very comfortable. Dog felt right at home too. The Lodge was a few minutes walk to the pub and beach, and a convenient coast bus made exploring the coastal walks easy. We were able to leave the car behind which was wonderful. Cant think of any negatives except that we felt there could have been more kitchen ware - microwavable dishes for example. Extra mugs and cutlery would have been useful and would reduce the amount of dishwashing required. Minor issues and did not detract from our stay.

It was lovely.

Highest of standards in every way. Just one thing. No cork screw to open our wine so our dinner was a bit flat. We had to go out to find a shop. May book the lodge again.

The lodge was immaculate everything there you needed. Very quiet and beautiful setting. Will hope to go back next year.

A really lovely place to stay in a great location, suited all staying from 8-80+ Very well equipped with everything you need.

Nothing to improve - we just forgot to say there was no bottle opener and you could do with a few more mugs (we drink a lot of tea!). Thanks for a great stay.

Lovely place to stay, lodge was amazing!

Very spacious and set in stunning surroundings. Everything you need and more for your stay and local pub, Runswick Bay Hotel, do great pints and loverly food. Definitely will be returning to Lodge 18, all of the family loved it

Lodge 18, The Pines is a lovely lodge in a quiet park.

Runswick Bay is well located for days on the North Yorks coast or exploring the moors. The lodge is well decorated and maintained with plenty of space and lots of hanging space in the boiler cupboard if you need to dry anything off. The only recommendations are to provide instructions for the hob and cooker.
