A really lovely lodge in a beautiful spot.
It was super clean and had absolutely everything we needed - my daughter LOVED the hot tub! There was an issue with the oven prior to us getting there, but the owner was fantastic about communicating this and made sure we were ok about it. The pub on site is really friendly and does good food, but just be aware the nearest shop is a 5 minute away, so get stocked up on bits you'll need. The beach down at Runswick Bay itself is down a very steep hill right outside where the lodge is, but it is absolutely worth the hike down as it is stunning. We had a fabulous stay and will definitely be back
A wonderful lodge, lovely & clean throughout, my only minor observation was dog hair on the two foot mats at the front & back doors.
The rest of the lodge was absolutely spotless
Fabulous lodge and in a lovely position on the site as we got the sun most of the day on the decking.
It was ideal having another bathroom in the lodge as we holidayed with 2 grandchildren. Site was very peaceful and not too large, also great location for the local pub. Would definitely return again.
