Drake 11

We had a fab time and thank you for the towels.

The only thing was the living room carpet could do with a good steam clean , along with the dining table chairs. Bu Other wise a brilliant stay .

This was our second time at Drake 11 and was just as good as the first time.

The property was clean and tidy, has a lovely big decking area, and the showers great for a caravan really powerful. The beds are comfy enough, and the extra bathroom in the double rooms a bonus. The sofa in the sitting area is a little worn now and dips in the middle but it didn't spoil anything for us! We did have a slight problem on arrival with the TV's not coming on, but the owner was very helpful and dealt with the problem straight away. The property is located central to all the amenities, and the beach is a five minute walk away and is also dog friendly. Overall we had great time at Drake 11 and will definitely be back soon. There was a little confusion concerning towels as on original booking told none provided but received 3 emails stating towels were provided.

We did not therefore take towels but on arrival found none in the van. Fortunately this was rectified quickly and we had towels delivered to us. Also main light switch in main bedroom was faulty. Other than these 2 small issues we had a very enjoyable stay.

Lovely caravan in an ideal spot on the site with easy access to all the entertainment and near to dog walking area and beach access.

With it being dog friendly could have done with having a vacuum and a mop and bucket but wouldn't stop me from using again as would fetch my own next time. Large decking area and sunny all day. Had a problem with hot water. The gas bottle had run out and this was sorted very quickly by the site maintenance after contacting the owner. Parking right outside the caravan. Would recommend.

Would not let a dog stay in here

Lovely caravan excellent location, could do with the carpet cleaning as a few big stains on it , it also needs a hover in the caravan as with having dogs it needs hoovering daily if not every other day But other than that had a wonderful stay lovely walk to cayton bay beach

Location was good afraid it stops there.

We found property not up to Sykes standards.Needs a really good deep clean Gate broken into decking .Lounge carpet badly stained.Perhaps covers for outside furniture as there is no storage to keep them in so we’re wet when we arrived

Modern caravan in an excellent location on the park.

The outside seating area catches the sun most of the day. Two bedrooms have TVs and the living room has a large TV. Main bedroom has an en suite too which was great. Trudi the owner was approachable and helpful. Bedding could be improved, better quality duvet and covers. I would suggest 100% cotton with a decent thread count. Missing some touches - dishwasher tablets, bedside lamps in the twin rooms, more coat hangers in wardrobes, fan etc. Oven glove has a hole in. Overall, a lovely stay.

Lovely property, only two towels provided for four people ,lights in the main bedroom flickering and not working, it’s a high end price for the type of property and would it have been reasonable we would have booked for new year and next Easter, however the price for these dates have increased to a ridiculous amount unfortunately, but if it was in line with other properties we would 100% return as the position is good and beds are comfy

Would definitely stay again and would recommend. Kids loved it.
