The site and accommodation were restful, tranquil and just perfect.
We do like to book places that are a little quirky and this was just the ticket. The only criticism would be the WiFi. I wouldn’t advertise the WiFi because for the majority of the time it didn’t work. We had it in several locations, both inside and out. We would definitely go back though

Sorry you had problems with your internet, there is a separate router in each pod for your sole use. We don’t usually have any problems with the WiFi so I’m sorry you experienced it. A little gem!
Accommodation was lovely, clean & comfy. Had everything we needed for our stay. The property is very relaxing in a beautiful quiet location. It was amazing sitting in the warm hot tub chilling in the countryside….. We were met on arrival by Sally the owner who was lovely.

A perfect escape.
Loved the quirky accommodation, with the windows open its like being outside indoors. It's so quiet you can listen to birdsong, a walk around the pond, and then jump in the hot tub ❤️. The outdoor furniture was so comfy too. It's close enough to many seasides for a trip out and an ice cream. Would return for another relaxing holiday, it was wonderful.

‘Outstanding’ ….
. the location/setting just stunning! So peaceful, only sound was from the birds tweeting. The Iglu was amazing, everything you could possibly need, and very comfortable (due to the amazing weather we spent most of our time outdoors). We spent 6days soaking up the surroundings and could have easily stayed another 6 days. Our hosts have created something very special and we feel privileged to have stayed at Mayflower Meadow and undoubtedly will return

We had a really lovely time at Veiko!
It's in the perfect spot where it's quiet, secluded and peaceful, while also being in a reasonable distance of a load of great areas including Beverly and Bridlington. Our hosts responded quickly when required which was great also. Our only real issue was with the amount of light being let in through the main door window, which unfortunately doesn't have blinds, or a curtain blocker of the bed area of the pod which meant a couple of early mornings on the bright days. Shouldn't be a problem for the winter months but if coming in the summer, bring some eye masks! It didn't detract from our enjoyment of the weekend and would definitely come back again - thanks for having us!

The weather was really bad so couldn’t use the hot tub, would have been good if it was sheltered
Hi Callum. We are sorry you were disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t covered but thank you for giving us such a great score in all the other aspects of your stay. It’s difficult to try to get a balance right and to cater for everyone. Most of our guests love looking at the sky and stars when in the tub and people also like to be in it when it rains or is cold so that’s why we don’t cover it.
We LOVED our few days in Veiko, we stayed 5 nights.
The cabins are so well decorated and maintained, and very comfortable despite being small. The added bonus of a hot tub makes it such a special place to unwind, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming.

We absolutely loved our weekend away, was gutted to have to leave.
We did try calling 07796 441667 as we had trouble with the hot water from the shower and kitchen sink.This meant Saturday me and my girlfriend had to a cold shower… other than that it was a beautiful location, really private and exceptionally cozy. We will be back!

A really warm welcome from the owner. Everything was as seen online. Really cosy and relaxing and had everything we would ever need. Clean and modern and the hot tub was a nice touch. We will definitely be back!!

Had a lovley few days stay for my birthday treat, was lovley and clean upon arrival, hot tub was very up and down with temp but managed nicely…would deffo recommend having a mop for the floors easier when there wet from the shower or the hot tub…all in all a fab few days

This was booked for my birthday weekend and what a lovely place it was to stay .
The views , privacy , hotub I could go on. However , it also came to my attention that there were a lot of bugs , flys , little black bugs everywhere and dead moths when we arrived which was quite upsetting . Also not to mention but nobody greeted us or said hello or goodbye or how was your stay , I just felt like that would’ve been a nice touch to speak to the people we were staying with.

When you contacted us about your arrival (we always contact our guests before they arrive as we try to greet them to welcome them) you told us you didn’t know what time you were going to arrive and so was happy to do a self check in so we are so sorry that you feel we didn’t meet you during your stay. Our phone numbers are available for you to contact us anytime but often guests come along to stay with us for the peace and quiet and to be left alone! Our site is in the rural countryside of East Yorkshire which often means that we have lots of wildlife around. It has been a hot summer so far and with that brings bugs, again we are sorry that you found some in your pod, if you had contacted us we would have dealt with them immediately. Beautiful accommodation and surroundings.
Mayflower Meadow is well kept and exceeded our expectations. The pull trolleys were such a great idea for transporting all of our belongings to and from the car. We chose Veiko to celebrate our 3rd Wedding anniversary and we are so glad we did. The area was peaceful and relaxing, and the hot tub was brilliant - we miss it already! We will definitely be back!

Was very disappointed not to be greeted by the host.
Hot tub wasn’t maintained daily with high chemical levels. Loud music from other pod wasn’t very tranquil. Was surprised to learn that we had to change the bedding as guests . Not sure if this a standard procedure especially paying the higher rate prices. Surrounding area’s pretty and lovely location.
We are very disappointed that you felt your stay wasn’t up to standard, we have never ever had such a low scoring. We always try to greet our guests but as we all work on the farm sometimes this just isn’t possible, our apologies if you felt this wasn’t good enough. Please do call us, our phone numbers are available, and we can come up to show you around. Our hot tubs are cleaned and checked with every guest, with the correct amount of chemicals added. We check the tubs when we see that your car isn’t there so we don’t disturb your stay. Again, if there was loud music we would have politely asked the guests to turn it down. We don’t ask our guests to ‘change’ the bedding, merely to take off your own bedding. We are a glamping site not a hotel and we actually feel that what we provide is the best it can be. Again, we are so sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay.

I thought the cabin was lovely, the surrounding areas were beautiful and the people who met us there and gave us a tour were so helpful, friendly and lovely.
I found the hot tub to be absolutely perfect and the shower was so clean and easy to use. The bed was also unbelievably comfy and there was so much help finding stuff to do as there was a sheet provided with venus’s to visit the nicest places in the vicinity and the best places to eat, in which i would reccomend as berts pizzeria had some of the best pizza i have ever eaten and the pints of peroni weren’t so bad either

Better late than never, we stayed last September.
It was absolutely lovely, and we had a fantastic few days away. The only tiny (and it is tiny) thing I would say is that I’d like a little more clothes storage to be squeezed in somewhere. But only a little niggle - we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would absolutely recommend.

We loved our iglus, it was lovely and cosy when the weather wasn’t great outside and during the nice evenings it was lovely to spend time in the hot tub.

Really enjoyed our stay.
Extremely quiet countryside setting enhanced further with no vehicles allowed to park next to igloos. Very comfortable bed and the hot tub made for a relaxing stay. Nice walks directly from property and the beach a short drive. There is a lovely natural pond near the igloo. Owners have provided seating and picnic bench and we really enjoyed having our breakfast there.
Igloo was great, hosts have thought of everything.

The iglu is absolutely fabulous and the owners have thought of everything to make your fancy glamping stay wonderful. It rained off and on during our stay, but that didn't even matter. There was still plenty of time to enoy the hot tub. Mayflower Meadow is so peaceful and have already reccomended MM to friends. Thank you for a lovely weekend away that we sorely needed!

We loved our stay here. 100% private. Peaceful and quiet. Veiko was spotless and everything has been thought out for the guests to experience the most out of their stay. We adored it and have already booked for next year
Found a little gem here, nice and quiet good to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy life.
The hot tub is lovely to lay in and just forget about your troubles, I also like the no TV. I will certainly recommend Mayflower Meadows to anyone that wants to getaway for some R&R
