This was an outstanding lodge set in idyllic countryside.
Very peaceful and quiet, great place to relax and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The lodge was spacious with everything you need for a self catering break. Would highly recommend.
We enjoyed our stay but there were a couple of things we think need attention.
The hot water is far too hot and could easily scald you especially if you had children in the party. The drains in the kitchen sink were a bit smelly so we had to keep the plugs in we think it is because there didn’t seem to be any traps on them. There were also a couple of snagging issues the coat hook was not fixed securely to the wall and the cupboard was missing a magnet. Overall it was a very spacious and comfortable property. We would definitely stay there again.
Lovely Lodge BUT the worst I have stayed in for equipment.
The Lodge sleeps 6. Patio table and Chairs for 4, 4 Knives, 5 Forks and just 6 of mugs, Plates and bowls etc meaning you have to wash up after every meal. 2 hand towels between 6 guests, No Hoover, No Clock, No spare pillows no games etc and more importantly NO guest information including NO emergency contact numbers for the site. As a result vastly overpriced. Shocking will never use Seren Retreats again.
