Glen Dessary
Description
Fort William 3 miles.
Glen Dessary, a homely and compact detached chalet, in a lovely position amid lawned grounds near the village of Corpach, three miles from Fort William.
Set with five other chalets, this charming property offers simple, comfortable open-plan accommodation.
Ideally placed for exploring the great outdoors, there is a wealth of walking, biking and climbing in the area, with Ben Nevis visible from the site.
As you approach the wooden lodge, you'll be greeted by its inviting timber exterior, nestled amid a green lawn and peaceful surroundings.
Step inside to discover an agreeable living area featuring a leather corner sofa, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
Flick on the TV or radio, curl up on the corner sofa, and unwind.
The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, and fridge, offering everything you need to prepare a warm, satisfying meal after a day out in the Highlands.
The dining area provides a welcoming space to gather around the table and enjoy a hearty meal.
After a day of adventure, freshen up in the bathroom—perhaps with a long soak in the bathtub—before retiring to either a double or a twin bedroom for a restful night’s sleep.
The mystical Isle of Skye is within reach (via a drive through spectacular scenery or even by steam train!), or visit Fort William and its shops, pubs and restaurants.
Glen Dessary, a great base from which to explore the beautiful Western Highlands!
Note: This cottage is next to Ref. 28289, together they sleep 8.

Clean ,friendly and comfy
Great location - Next to the bike track to Fort William, Neptune's staircase & the Caledonian canal path to Gairlochy, and close to the Nevis Range gondola & mountain bike track (perfect for 17 yo son).
We also did a bike ride along Glen Nevis & up to the waterfalls, and walked up Ben Nevis. Cabin clean, spacious & quiet. Electric meter is easy to monitor & use: accepts £2 & £1 coins. We spent £18 as well as the £7 in it, over 7 nights (in July) including using the washing machine, and the cooker every night. Daughter loved the dogs. Thank you for a fab stay!
Beautiful spot, friendly owners, dogs and chickens.
Our cozy lodge was fully equipped, loads of cooking utensils, shower and home comforts. Great location to explore the Highlands. We had a wonderful holiday.
